. 🍯 Lēnus No. 57 Kelp & Honey Face Mask . 🍯 FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Let me just start with the fact that this mask is pack full of incredible ingredients. Head on over to their website to check it out. For instance, raw honey is the first on the list! . 🍯HOW TO USE: you're told to spread a thin layer onto your face & neck. I took my time to do this; getting a little on my spatula then using 1-2 fingers to spread the mask. Using too much or too heavy of a layer would result in lots of dripping. Even with the thin layer, I had a tad bit of drippage. Leave on for 30 minutes, wet hands and then massage the mask to exfoliate while you rinse it off. . 🍯 CLAIMS: This mask works to remove makeup & dirt build up, reduce skin inflammation, tone, tighten and nourish. You can find these claims on their website as well. . 🍯 THOUGHTS: To be honest, I'm not a fan of the scent. It's a pretty strong earthy scent. But with such raw and organic ingredients with no fillers or synthetic ingredients, you can be rest assured there is nothing artificial in here. The scent definitely lingers throughout the entire wear but it wasn't overwhelming. The texture is exactly like honey but is just gritty. . 🍯 RESULTS: After half an hour, I did as the directions said and massaged as I rinsed this off. The mask didn't dry up so it was really easy to rinse off. My skin was left baby soft and refreshed. It didn't leave me dry but it's definitely not Hydrating (does not claim to be) so be sure to follow up with some Hydrating products. First Impressions on #LenusSkincare No. 57 Honey Kelp Face Mask ⠀ This mask claims to be a "nourishing, toning, and skin tightening product perfectly suited for all skin types. It is made with the purest raw, local, organic orange blossom honey, sea kelp, matcha tea, and herbs to gently detoxify and reduce irritation and redness." ⠀ I love the apothecary style jar and design of this brand and mask. The mask comes in a heavy glass jar which came insufficiently packed the first time (a couple layers of paper & foam) and was leaking everywhere. I had to request a new one, so I've only had a chance to patch test this mask unfortunately. ⠀ The mask itself is a dark green color and has a sticky texture like honey. It smells like honey, herbs, and some essential oils - a very pleasant scent. It's a very thick and sticky texture with some graininess from the finely ground bamboo. I wish this direction was on their website. The directions say to keep on for 20-40 minutes, massage into skin for exfoliation, and then rinse off with warm water. ⠀ Even with a super thin layer just applied on my cheek, I did experience a little dripping which I kind of expected from a honey product. The mask actually rinsed off very well and the bamboo provided some gentle exfoliation. ⠀ My skin felt soft and not dried out after using it, but I will keep using and report back any other results with further use. ⠀ The only reason I would be hesitant on recommending this would be the amount of essential oils in this mask - it doesn't bother me, but I realize people can be sensitive. Definitely visit the Lenus website because it has lots of info on the ingredients used.

The company was established in 2013. This mask is good for all skin types. (PATCH TEST ANYWAY) It is formulated to tone/tighten and rejuvenate/nourish. I will post a pic of ingredients here but in depth information on each is listed on the LĒNUS website. This product came wrapped in brown paper but no box. Unfortunately, my jar had leaked and was a bit of a mess inside. It was very sticky but cleaned up ok. 🐝The mask is a little thinner than pure honey and smells FANTASTIC. I kept opening the jar just to smell it. The directions state: Apply a very thin layer of the mask all over your face, neck and décolleté area. Wear for 20-40 mins. 🚫🚫HOW NOT TO DO IT🚫🚫 As demonstrated in my vid clip 🤢So I applied it with a brush just like I do with my other masks. Once my face warmed up it melted and ran down my face. I was first impressed by the natural ingredients in this No57 HONEY KELP FACE MASK. It uses raw, local & organic orange blossom honey with sea kelp, matcha, herbs, lavender, bamboo exfoliating powder green french clay, and lots of other natural ingredients. All naturals and helps nourish, tone and tighten the skin, provide a deeper cleanse for a glowing skin. The packaging is a beautiful dark colored glass jar with a classic label. A suitable container for an all natural mask, less risk of oxidation. The mask itself is very viscous, thick and sticky. Maybe because it's a honey based mask. It also has bits pieces of kelp that helps exfoliating the dead skin cells. I suggest using it in the bathroom and just apply a thin layer. It dripped when it's too thick and it's easier to clean the mess in the bathroom. It has a natural pleasant sweet scents that I love. Not too strong and not like a parfum. Suits those with sensitive nose. As for the result, it really lives up to their claim! After the 1st usage, it leaves my skin soft, plump, fresh and glowing! I like how it makes my skin feel plump. Many exfoliating mask gives a soft and glowing result, but not many gives a soft, plump & glowing result like this! And I can feel safe too knowing that it's all natural ingredients! It also didn't dry my skin out and didn't cause any redness or irritation. Will continue to use this and see the long term benefits. I also got some No10 small moisturizer sample which is also good. I washed my face toned and put the mask on and left it on for about 20-40 mins. After maybe 5-10 mins I felt a slight tingle all over but noting to bad. before washing it off you rub the mask to exfoliate and it did exfoliate it my face. After washing it off my skin looked so nice !! So clean and soft all the dead skin gone all my dry patches gone my face very glowy no irritation at all. overall I really loved this mask and will continue to buy this mask and other products. Also this mask retails for $26.

I tried @lenus No 57 Honey & Kelp Rejuvenating Face Mask 🐝 It is 100 % natural (the ingredient list is quite impressive), and is made with the purest raw, local, organic orange blossom honey, sea kelp, matcha tea, and other herbs 🐝 The matcha green tea scent is quite nice, and strong in this. The mask is quite thick, and you only need to add a thin layer of it on at a time 🐝 I left it on for 30 minutes, and rinsed it off with lukewarm water. There was a slight, tingly sensation, but it wasn’t bad 🐝 My face felt very refreshed, soothed, and exfoliated, and hydrated 🐝 I noticed that my face looked less red, brighter, and tighter. I love handcrafted skincare. There’s something about it that makes me feel like a lot of love and care went into creating the product, and this Kelp and Honey Face Mask from @lenus is no exception. Taken from their website, “LĒNUS Nọ57 honey mask is a nourishing, toning and skin tightening product perfectly suited for all skin types. It is made with the purest raw, local, organic orange blossom honey, sea kelp, matcha tea, and herbs to gently detoxify and reduce irritation and redness. Mineral, vitamin and antioxidant rich, this complex sea kelp mask will become the new favorite in your skincare routine.” Being that it’s made of real honey, it definitely has that consistency. It’s quite sticky and difficult to spread. And since it contain sea kelp, matcha and other herbs, it had a dark green tint to it and a herbal and earthy smell to it. I kept the mask on for 20mins and gently massaged it to let the bamboo do it’s exfoliating magic. After washing it off, I was left with calmer and smoother feeling skin! My only critique would be to improve the packaging or the shipping packaging because upon opening the shipping package I was slightly disappointed to see that some of the contents had leaked all over the jar.

That is what I found from the website. The honey that comes from a local honey hive in San Diego. I have tried other honey mask before which are on the thinner side this mask is more thick. The application is better with your hands to help spread the product since its on the thicker side. The mask has a strong kelp and slight honey smell. I left the mask on for about 40 minutes since it recommends from 20-40 minutes than massage and wash off the mask. How well it works my skin was more firm afterwards but appearance once I didn't see too much of a difference. The mask might work better when you use it more. I like the mask due to the amazing extensive list of ingredients that are beneficial to yout skin.

I wore the mask for about 35 minutes (directions suggest 20-40 minutes) & then added a small amount of cleansing oil before massaging it into my skin for gentle exfoliation. The mask rinsed off easily with lukewarm water. Upon initial application I detected a sweet/earthy/natural scent which was light & did not linger but when I rinsed the mask off I caught a whiff of peppermint (not mad at it). · 🍯 My Thoughts: One of my favorite ingredients to use in my DIY masks is honey so I was very excited for the opportunity to try this mask & I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed! First ingredient is raw honey and everything that immediately follows is pretty awesome too. The website has a very detailed list of ingredients that explains their benefits, so that's very helpful. . The consistency of this mask is very thick and sticky, obviously because of the high percentage of honey in the product. Applying this was very tricky for me. I tried it two ways: with a spatula and with my fingers. Both times, it was very messy and difficult to apply evenly across my face. I couldn't seem to get an even layer and the product kept dripping off my fingers and spatula, even when I had taken precaution to scooping up a small amount and to applying a thin layer. (But again, the messiness is because of the first ingredient, raw honey, so it's very acceptable to me.) . The directions on the jar recommends thirty minutes of application time, but my skin always started getting itchy anywhere past fifteen, so I had to wash it off. Despite the product being so thick and gooey, washing it off was very easy and pleasant. The product came off clean and left no residue. There was some very mild exfoliation while washing it off that left my face slightly pink/red, but soft. I would really like to try leaving it on for 30 minutes to see if I can get a nice glow. . . I don't know if everybody would enjoy the scent, but it's a combination of lavender, sandalwood, frankincense, cedar wood, etc., and it was very therapeutic to me and I loved inhaling the scent. . . Take note that the directions say to apply a very thin layer because it will drip off of your face if this is not followed, also use your finger and not a brush. This mask does everything it says it does: exfoliates beautifully, leaving baby soft skin; hydrates, despite the exfoliating properties of the mask; reduces inflammation and redness. I used this mask a few times while my skin was suffering and healing from a little breakout and it definitely reduced the healing time typically necessary for my skin. This is my new go to wash off mask, it rinses off so smoothly and the gentle exfoliation is heaven! 💚Side note… now I love the mask, but it has been messy. The mask is in a very nice glass tub, but it was shipped with just a brown paper bag wrapping around it and the product had leaked all over the inside of the shipping material. It cleans off easily and did not ruin the product labeling, but even though it had been cleaned off it kept seeping out and leaving a “mask ring” around the bottom of the tub. It is very sticky and grainy (from the bamboo exfoliants). You're supposed to use your fingers to apply a very thin layer on the face. I was trying to be a rebel and used a face brush, and it didn't work. Applying with your fingers is key. The product is extremely sticky so keep that in mind as you're spreading it around. I also forgot to wear a head band (highly suggest that you do) and a couple of hair strands kept sticking to face. I kept the mask on for 30 minutes and it felt pretty relaxing. The product doesn't drip down the face, but also doesn't dry down completely. . 🌟 I rinsed the mask off with warm water. The bamboo exfoliants provided a nice mild exfoliation as I massaged it around my face. I accidentally tasted the mask during this process, and was pleased to find it sweet. My skin felt softer and smoother after rinsing. I also noticed my skin looked a little brighter and my pores looked clarified. I can tell she put a lot of care into her products and research in what is great for the skin and health. This honey mask when I received it was not in a box and kind of kept in a cardboard taped together which was a bit weird to see since I was wondering if the product will come out in transition. The jar was a bit heavy and sturdy. Once opened, The mask came out very gooey and sticky. It had an aroma of kelp and honey. It has a very earthy scent which explains the ingredients used in this. The mask is very dark green/ black when you see it. I did have a bit of a hard time spreading with my fingers since it's very sticky and I would suggest using it in the bathtub or shower. It will drip down your face if you don't be careful. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes and once the time was up I wash it off. It has some grit that can easily exfoliate my skin with. Once all of it was off which was a bit tough since it's made with honey. I did notice my skin feeling a bit itchy and I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients so that was a bit weird since I use a lot of these ingredients in the past. The itchiness went away about an hour but I did notice my skin look cleaner and few blemishes getting smaller. I do think this mask is good but use with a caution and do a patch test. I give this a 3.5/5 since it was so sticky, the packaging and having a little bit reaction of itchiness that I usually don't get. I do think the ingredients are great and I like that some of my pimples did heal while using this.

Impressions: At first sight, I'm struck but the sleek packaging design which has the eclectic feel of an old antique apothecary bottle. It opens to the aroma of sweet honey, herbs and matcha tea which I totally dig. Very earthy. The mask itself has an extremely viscous quality to it - a consistency somewhere between tar and honey and is dark & grainy due to the addition of charcoal, fine bamboo exfoliating powder and fine green clay. It spreads on in a thin layer and you allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Before rinsing off, you can wet your hands and rub the grainy beads around for added exfoliation if you need it. Rinses easily. . LOWDOWN: Great mask experience. This mask feels so extra with its handcrafted, artisan feel and it did a wonderful job of GENTLY detoxing my stressed skin while also delivering solid nutrition via the green tea, sea kelp, & honey. Not to mention, it exfoliates too!! It left my skin feeling soft, super clean, and happy. 😊 For one jar of sticky goo it surprisingly covers a lot of bases. A little goes a long way too so for a small 2oz jar, it should get a lot of uses. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍👍👍

I was lucky enough to be part of the campaign to try this Lenus kelp and honey face mask! 🍯 This mask is truly a gem! Before i get into the mask, the packaging is lovely. Its a nice glass container, with a straight forward but classy label. The mask itself is of thick consistency, so you really only need to apply a thin layer. It is best applied using your fingers and not a brush, because you end up wasting product. The smell is refreshing, i really like it. It has an interesting texture with bits and pieces of kelp. There are lots of lovely other ingredients such as green tea matcha, lavendar, peppermint, charcoal, and the list goes on. I definitely want to purchase more Lenus products after trying this mask. My skin instantly felt refreshed after just one use! Ive already used it a couple of times and i do feel as though my skin is more clear, brighter, and shines compared to before use. It also does not dry my skin out, which i love about this mask. 5 of 5 stars! Highly recommended mask and brand Lenus! They even provided a small moisturizer sample, which i am already in love with!

I received this Honey Kelp face mask from Lenus and 0.8L. All thoughts are my own✨ This package came slightly busted as the contents were all over the jar but it was a quick clean up. Immediately I noticed it was an extremely sticky mask. Application for this mask is quite difficult because it is so sticky, i think this would work better in a squeeze tube because it makes a mess everywhere. That aside, i thoroughly enjoyed this mask. I left it on for 30 mins as directed and massaged off with lukewarm water. I couldn't tell this mask was exfoliating by the product in the jar but was pleasantly surprised at the exfoliation when rinsing off this mask. Even though I have only used it 2x, it helped clear my skin and even make it look a bit brighter and smoother. I dont think this jar will last too long but I highly recommend the mask, especially with whats in it. ✨claims/ingredients✨ Per the Lenus website they claim this mask helps nourish, tone and tighten the skin. They use raw, local and organic orange blossom honey along with sea kelp, matcha tea and herbs. Honey is already known to have skin purifying properties as well as nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties. All ingredients blended together helps remove toxins and build up on the skin. Lastly, the website states they also formulate this mask with bamboo exfoliating powder and green french clay to provide a deeper cleanse for glowing skin. After seeing results upon first use, I highly recommend. It really does live up to its claims.
