Last but not least is the Wishtrend Teca 1% Barrier Cream. This is a cream which claims to create a protective layer over skin to lock in moisture. The consistency is thick, almost balmy/gel like. It takes a few to absorb, but once it does it doesn’t leave the skin tacky or sticky. I prefer to use this In the evening since it does take a bit to sink in. I’m also not sure how this product would work under makeup, seeing as it has a thick consistency on its own. There is no fragrance to this. This seems like a great balm for blemishes/irritated skin. The downside is that the tube is pretty small, so using this frequently/al over the face would cause the product to go pretty quickly. I will most likely continue using this on target areas. Overall, a good purchase but just wish the packaging was a bit bigger. Thanks to 0.8L for giving me the opportunity to try this at a reduced rate.

I was so excited to grab this TECA 1% Barrier Cream from @bywishtrend as a $3.99 Try Now item on @0.8l_usa! This gel cream is meant to help preserve the skin barrier and soothe irritated skin. I love having products for irritated skin since I often have areas of my skin that can become red and irritated. This gel cream was a nice texture that was almost slightly powdery. I would only apply it to areas of my skin that needed something to help seal in moisture or if it was irritated. I was only able to use it a little over a week, so I don't know what the long term effects will be, but I am liking having this product on hand. I have used it to help the dry areas of my face that popped up with the temperature fluctuations happening here in NY. As much as I am enjoying this product, the price is $27.50 for only one ounce of product, which at this point I cannot justify that pricing. I only need a little bit at a time, but that's still a high price. If I could get it for half that price, I'd consider it. If you have more problematic skin than I do and issues protecting your skin barrier, it may be worth the investment. I'm very happy I got to try this though!

I'm glad I waited because I'm not sure if it's worth $27.50, considering the lack of effectiveness of its claims. The cream has a thick, Vaseline-type of texture, which spreads out easily on my skin. It makes my skin satin-y and well-moisturized, and it feels soothing when I apply it over exfoliated skin. But that's about all it did for me. Perhaps I haven't used it long enough, but during the one week that I used this, I can't say I noticed any difference to my skin in terms of helping heal post-acne marks or brightening any spots. My acne marks and spots stayed exactly the same: no brightening and definitely no lightening. I do like the sleek tube that allows me to easily control the amount of product I want, and I think it does a decent job with moisturizing my skin. The main benefit of this cream as I mention before is to help regenerate and help prevent acne scars. As the last step of skin care, you spot treat the problematic areas. My thoughts: I went into this kind of dumb, I assumed this was a spot treatment for current acne and got super excited and did not fully read the description. Luckily, I had hormonal breakouts which usually leave a dark mark for a few weeks so I used this on the active blemish just to see how it works. I'm going to be honest, this feels nice on the skin but a few of the ingredients can potentially clog the pores so I used this just on my problem areas and I feel like after two weeks I kind of gave up since it just was not working for me. It did not help my active blemishes and any scarring was just there, I took before and after pictures since I've been using this product for about a month and honestly, they look the same. I am impressed of how fast the Teca Barrier Cream helps to heal irritated skin. I applied the cream on the affected area twice a day, morning and evening, as a final step(along with other treatment), and the blemishe disappeared, in almost half the time it used to heal, and no scar or dark spot where left. Also, I have a small dark spot (due to hormonal acne), that it's been there for months, I have been using the cream for about two weeks, and the mark it's almost gone, now it's barely noticeable. The cream has no scent, and the texture it's almost like a primer. I used it once all over my face, my skin felt really smooth, and left my skin with a matte finish, I love that it's not oily at all. I comes in a 1.05oz. tube. I wish I could use it as a moisturizer but I don't want to finish the cream fast, I will only been using it for the affected areas, when needed.

This products  is packaged in an easy to use tube with a twist off cap. The cream itself has a thick somewhat gel-like consistency with no discernible scent. It is appropriate for all skin types and can be as all over moisturizer or spot treatment on damaged or irritated areas. I have dry skin and did not find this cream to be adequately moisturizing to be used all over but I found that is is effective as a treatment for healing acne scars and soothing redness. WISHTREND Teca 1% Barrier Cream 🌿🌿🌿 Description:  Repair balm Key ingredients:  Centella asiatica 🌿 Focus:  Heal, repair, protect moisture barrier Impressions:  This is the cream I didn't know I needed.  I'll admit I was confused at first, thinking it was a zit cream but I quickly realized that wasn't its purpose & that it had way better applications for me than addressing zits which is not a high priority for me.  I am a combination skin type, mostly on the oily side but prone to dryness & sensitivity around the chin & labial fold area.  If I get too carried away with acids or high pH products, they are the first areas of my face to get compromised.  Dryness, redness, constantly peeling skin, tiny clogged pores - no amount of moisturizing cream seems to address it but that is where this super little balm comes in.  Basically, my moisture barrier is compromised & needs some special "tlc" to get it to heal.  This balm is great for it.  The texture of the cream is soft & has a slippery silicone-like feel to glide over irritated areas without undue rubbing or tugging.  The main healing ingredient is Centella asiatica suspended in a rich occlusive type balm that creates a seal to preserve moisture, promote healing & prevent scars & pigmentation.  I apply it as a final step.  It's almost kinda greasy feeling at first but in a few minutes it completely disappears into my skin.  I reapply as needed through the day to keep that area all sealed in & to try to put a lid on the peeling.  I generally see a huge improvement in just a couple days.  Once I figured out what this cream could do for me, I've become a big fan of "barrier creams" & fully appreciate the special niche they fill.  I may not have to use it daily but it's definitely a keeper in my routine.  Another very effective find from the Wishtrend line that gets my complete recommendation.  Even though I've been very liberal with the amount I've applied over the past 3 weeks or so, this tube seems like it should last a really long time but I would definitely repurchase in future based on the awesome results.  It's moderately priced at $22 for a 30ml tube.  Really a fantastic value.  You can find it available at Wishtrend.com.   BTW - just a side note on the pic, I'm just healing up from a major compromised moisture barrier "incident."  I got a little over excited with a bunch of new acids I received & paid the price.  3 days and this cream had me back to healthy!!!!!  👍😃👍😃👍😃👍

It’s supposed to strengthen and calm your skin after a breakout or irritation. I haven’t had much acne recently (#blessed lmao) but my skin does get irritated and this product has been helping. This is probably my favorite item I’ve gotten from 0.8Liter so far.

Though this is recommended for problematic skin, as per cosDNA this contains 3 ingredients that could potentially trigger acne. Glyceryl Stearate SE (Rating:3), Cetearyl Alcohol (Rating:2), Dimethicone (Rating:1) .. Thoughts: I am currently in India and every time I am here , my skin type changes from dry dehydrated to normal acne prone skin. So, when I saw this on @0.8L_usa I knew I will need it in India. This has a thick gel like texture that gets absorbed into the skin, leaving no residue. I could detect no fragrance. The tube packaging is functional and I do like the blue color. I have been using it in my AM and PM routine as the final step. I have also seen others use it as a spot treatment. Because of the hot humid weather, I don't really need a moisturizer and this has been working out well as a light moisturizer for me. This soothed my active acne. It did help with a big red painful bump on my cheek. The pimple looked less red and seemed to have been flattened quicker than it normally takes for a pimple that size to heal. I have been using it for over 3 weeks now and I did not see dramatic results with existing acne scars. The overall texture of my skin has definitely improved but I cannot attribute it to this cream alone, there are other products that I use in my routine that may have helped with the skin texture. Overall, this product has minimal ingredient list, it does soothe acne but I still prefer my Cosrx pimple patches. I will continue to use the product and update if I see any other major changes. I received this teca 1% barrier cream from 08l for the 3.99 trial fee. When you first use it it looks like an ointment but it rubs in and dries quick with no greasy residue. the only thing I noticed is that it made my redness calm, and my face smooth. and I actually like this as a face primer before I use my makeup!! It comes in a tube you squeeze and it is just over 1 ounce. I don't really have breakouts but I do have redness. and it did calm it!!

A little really goes a long way. Its texture is a little like Vaseline jelly, a little like thick lotion. It feels very smooth after applying and lasts the whole day. This is the second time i try this product. I decided to try it again for the fact that it actually brings change to my skin. I used a small size of this on dark spots (as result of acnes) and i totally see that these spots has been brightening up a lot. Highly recommend!!!

After using it for a week, I didn't really notice any big differences, but it did help soothe certain troubled areas of my face. I have high hopes that with continued use, I will see a bigger improvement. The only cons I found were that after the first couple of days of use, I developed a dry patch on the area of use. It was easily remedied with a good moisturizer though. It also feels a bit heavy on my skin since it is a "cream".

I was so very hopeful about this cream. I used this cream at the end of my skincare routine twice a day for exactly a month so far. I assumed I would see some sort of improvement in my scarring in such a long time. I waited until the last second to write my review for that reason. Sadly, I see no difference whatsoever. The photos are of both cheeks after all skincare products were applied including this cream. I'm 29 and this is how my face has looked since high school. I jump on anything that mentions acne scars. I'm also using glycolic acid in a few products and a stem cell serum on days that I don't use that. One thing I will say is that this doesn't dry out my very dry skin. I will probably continue to use it for another month or so but if I still don't see any improvement I will probably throw it out. 🙁 I'm going to guess this is geared towards preventing acne scars via treating acne which as you can see isn't really a problem for me anymore.
