My foundation looks radiant when I use this underneath. The balm is a solid form and will soften a bit when some is scooped into your hand but, it’s not very easy to spread around so that’s why I tend to over apply. I like the floral essential oil blend smell, it is very soothing, and the Vitamin C glow has me hooked. Free of petroleum, mineral oil, palm oil, silicone, color and synthetic fragrance. This balm is quite an interesting product. First I've never used a skin balm before so this was a new experience for me. The ingredients are what appealed to me as I'm a big fan of vitamin C for skin products. Using this takes getting used to. Being solid you need to rub the balm until it melts (this is almost instant) in your fingers. I applied this several times and felt it was nice for my skin but nothing really exceptional. I also used it as a makeup remover and found it worked quite well for this. I think this product is very functional as a makeup remover. I would consider this a possible supplemental item to use for skincare but not an essential.

The packaging is clean and the complete ingredient list is available on the jar .. Fragrance: I can't describe the fragrance, it smells natural. Nothing overpowering .. Texture: This is a thick balm, when you touch it it feels a little powdery before it melts and transforms into an oil .. Thoughts: Until I was 16 I used a bar soap and the only thing that got on my skin was kokum butter. I remember this hard butter that my grandma / mum would heat. Then allow the oil to cool down. This oil was then applied on to our face and body. That was the first face and body moisturizer I ever used. I remembered this when I saw kokum butter listed as one of the ingredients. Oops, I got carried away, back to the review. So, this balm is a beautiful blend of oils - Buriti, Rose hip, Marula, Papaya seed, Pomegranate, Carrot seed oil with Sea Buckthorn extract, arrowroot powder, Vitamin E, Panthenol, Rosemary extract, Shea butter and Kokum butter. Since this is a dense balm, getting the right quantiy out of the jar is difficult. I found using a spatula easier. You need very little of the balm , spread it in your palms and use your palms to lightly massage all over your skin. This moisturizes your skin really well and seals it all in. Every time I use this in my pm routine I go to bed knowing my skin is taken care of and wake up to skin that is not dry.

🍊#Lenus No 01 Vitamin C Face Balm. • I have never tried a beauty balm before, so when I saw this I had to give it a try! This product comes in a cute (smaller than expected) glass amber jar, and inside is multipurpose beauty balm that can be used to nourish the skin, soothe minor rashes, and also cleanse the skin (!?!). This balm is made of organic shea butter, botanical oils, and vitamin c+b+e (hence the name vitamin beauty balm)! Sounds amazing right?!. • this balm is super thick like a cold slab of buttahhhhh. It must be the shea butter tbh. it was hard to scoop out with just my fingers since the jar is small, and i got fat fingers 😆 . So i used a plastic spatula! The balm has a light citrus scent, and when applied, feels quite nourishing! when i tested it on my hands it looked and felt greasy/oily but when i applied it on my face and massaged it into my skin, it wasn’t as greasy and it applied nice and smooth leaving a soft surface! I can def see this helping with dry spots and soothing the skin! It also doesn’t feel heavy which I like. I’ve used it for couple nights already, and my skin feels nice, smooth & less dry in the morning! I had the chance to try @lenushandcrafted No01 vitamin C face balm. I have very dry skin especially my face. I was happy to know that this was for the face and that has Vitamin C,E,B and organic shea butter. It has many healthy oils in it. After days of using it my face is less cracked and dry. A little bit goes a long way for if you apply to much you will look greasy. When you massage it to the face the balm melts quicky and it’s easy to apply. The only CON is that it didn’t come with a face pad or brush, having to use my fingers to take it out the container can be wasteful since you don’t really need much. It has left my skin feeling fresh and looking great. I also like the rose smell it has to it very light but refreshing. I will continue to use it daily as it didn’t irritate my skin. This is the second product that I’ve had the pleasure of testing from the cruelty free, artisan handcrafted skincare line @lenus_handcrafted_skincare. This beautiful dark amber jar is the No. 01 Vitamin C beauty balm. . 🥀 Ingredients: The website shoplenus.com listed the ingredients on all of their products. . 🥀 Scent: I detect a mild herbal/rose/citrus fragrance. . 🥀 Usage: I’ve experimented this balm on bare skin and as the last step of my skin care routine. Each application, my body’s heat quickly melt the smooth balm, leaving the skin very moisturized. However, each time I use it, my face gets annoyingly itchy within minutes. I am not sure if I’m reacting to the Vitamin C or what. So I’ve been delegating this balm to use on the back of my hands and my elbows. . 🥀 Even with the itchiness I’ve experienced with this product. To use as a cleansing balm, massage a teaspoon of product and wipe it off with a hot wash cloth. I have been using this balm for about two weeks and I really like it! I'm very surprised because most face balms I have used feel greasy and gross on my face. This one melts and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feeling behind. Last week Texas had a snap of really cold air which caused my skin to dry out and start peeling. Moving from cold to hot areas is never good for the skin 😓. Anyways, I kept applying this balm to my really dry spots and it felt soothing. I believe it also helped in relieving the dryness in my skin peeling areas. I'm really impressed and you need so little of it. Now I understand why it's a small container, you only need a pea sized amount. It's great! Totally recommend.

After my first try with product No. 57, I fell in love with LenusHandcrafted. This No.1 Face Balm is so good. I applied it at night and my skin is so soft, hydrated and nourished. The product contains natural ingredients and was handcrafted. A+ for this product.

No01 Vitamin C Face Balm claims to nourish dry skin, provide relief from minor rashes, and moisturize and cleanse the skin. The balm arrived in a very small jar that can fit in the palm of your hand, tiny and cute. There was also a card with their other products, information on the company Lenus, and I also received a sample of another product from Lenus No10 Face Cream. When opening the jar, the balm is in a solid form and you must heat it up with your fingertips. I applied this to my face by swirling my finger in the jar and then smoothing the balm on my face. I did not like the feel of it on my face, my skin did not absorb it and it left a thick grease like film. It was very uncomfortable and I could not wait to wash it off the next morning. I tried this several nights in a row and came to my original conclusion each time. I think this product would be wonderful for a person that is in a constant cold and windy environment such as working outside, snow skiing, snowboarding, and so on, as it would protect their face from the freezing temperatures. I also tried the balm as a makeup remover. I scooped out a small amount of the balm, heated it up by rubbing it in my hands and then applying it to my face. It was amazing! It removed all of my makeup, brow pomade, waterproof mascara, eyeshadow, foundation, liquid lipstick, the WORKS! After massaging it on my face, I took a warm wet washcloth and wiped it off. Officially my favorite skin care product. I use it at night as a moisturizer after i tone. Love the smell i can smell the rose and hemp. If you have not tried, it is worth it 100% I will be ordering more. Im stoked to try ither products from this brand! A little does go a long way. No need to use alot can be greasy.

NO 1 vitamin C beauty balm is incredible. Its extremely thick and balm like. Its stiff and wax-like and requires the warmth of your skin to melt into the face. Once you remove an apropriate amount from thr jar, about a pea size amount, you warm it in your hands and then apply to your desired area. I prefer to apply it all over my face, directly after serum in this wintery dry atmosphere it has been my current holy-grail. It has saved my dry and sensitive very angry winter skin. I love the vitamins in it. It creates a barrier between my face and the extremely dry winter air. After you apply it to your skin it COMPLETELY ABSORBS so theres no greasy after feel. This jar is so small but the packaging is so cute. I am a but sad that the jar is so small, but a little tiny bit goes a really long way. Also there is zero clogged pores or any pimples I’m getting from this cream. Just glowing and very healed and repaired skin.
