Let me say that this. I've never used any type of balm on my face, so this was a first. It truly feels like lip balm when using it, so I was skeptical to put this on my face. I will say this tho, this is perfect for the winter time. When your face dries out, this balm would be perfect to use to keep it moisturized. When I used it, I could tell a big difference in how my skin felt afterwards and throughout the day. It stayed moisturized, but with all the oils in it and the essential oils, it made sense. With so many organic ingredients in this, along with so many oils (Lavender, Rose, Papaya Seed, Pomegranate, Essential Oils and so many more). This is definitely a must have for anyone that has their face dry out from winter activities or even loved where it's cold all the time.

It's designed to nourish dry skin, to relieve minor rashes and moisturize. Some of the ingredients include rose hip seed, marula, passion fruit oil, buriti oil and kokum butter. It has a solid, slightly buttery consistency that needs to be warmed in the palms to liquify. When warm, it glides on easily and a little goes a long way. It has a yellowish color and scent that reminds me of shea butter with a citrusy undertone. It's very rich, I would say too rich for my combination skin type, leaving my skin too shiny for my liking. I wasn't able to use it as a daily moisturizer so I have been using it as a night cream/balm. It has a nice soothing effect on my skin along with keeping my skin moisturized for the whole night. In the morning my skin felt soft and smooth. My skin seemed to be relaxed and without puffiness. I didn't notice much of an anti-aging effect but it nicely evened out my complexion. Overall, I think it would benefit more of a dry skin type but it worked well for my night skin care.

The winter season is always harsh here in Minnesota so I’ve always had super dry skin specifically on my nose and it was hard for me to apply foundation without seeing all the dryness in my nose. But this product changed everything!!!!! I used it for a week and applied the balm every night before bed and in the morning and almost cried when I finally applied foundation for the first time in a long time and saw NO DRY SKIN CRACKS! It does wonders! . 🌸 things I noticed 🌸 The smell: I wasn’t a big fan of it at first but it grew on me. I can’t really explain it as it’s very unique but it reminds me of herbs and roses! It’s a really natural and soft reminder of nature. . The texture: I don’t know why I assumed it was a cream at first haha but it’s a waxy texture. I really like this balm! It’s nice and thick but doesn’t clog my pores. It has a very light fragrance so it isn’t an overwhelming smell either. I find it very easy to layer with other products. This combined with other similar products has helped fade my scarring.

This balm is great for dry skin, especially this time of year. However, since it is a thicker product if you have combination or oily skin, I wouldn't recommend it. It is too much to put on any skin type other than dry.

This balm multipurpose balm claims to nourish dry skin, to relief minor rashes, to moisturize and even cleanse the skin. you can you this balm as often as needed to moisterize skin and if you want to use as a cleanser you rub some in your face and clean with a warm wash cloth. This balm is made with raw natural ingredients. Some of this ingritdents are Buriti Oil, Blueberry Oil, Marula Oil, Rose Hip Seed Oil, Maracuja Oil, Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Cosmetic Grade Vitamin C, Carrot Extract, Sea Buckthorn Extract, Rose Hip Extract, Vitamin E, Chamomile. The balm had a very nice essential oil smell to it noting to strong I really like it. So after using this first as a moisturizer I can definitely see results I have very dry skin at the moment due to the weather and dry patches started forming on my skin at night I added the balm the next day my dry areas were very hydrated no more dry skin. It absorbed very nice no oily feeling at all and this balm is amazing as a cleanser to It removed my makeup beautifully. overall a 10 for this product!!❤❤ I really enjoyed it and also my skin 😁

FIRST IMPRESSIONS This is a “...multipurpose balm to nourish dry skin, to relief minor rashes, to moisturize and even cleanse the skin.” I didn't get a chance to try it out as a cleanser or for rash relief, so I will talk about the use on my very dry skin. The solid balm melts under your warm fingers to an oily cream consistency and has a pleasant faint herbal scent. I only used a very little of the balm because a little goes a long way. It's not easy to get out of the jar, you'll have to dig it out with something as it gets used up. For now I just rubbed my fingers on the top which kept me from using to much. If you use to much you can look shiny, but with a little bit you glow. It absorbs well and kept my skin hydrated throughout the day. It has lots and lots of great ingredients, swipe to see. This retails for $26. ~ They also included a small sample of their No.10 Day Face Cream with SPF which was pale gray in color, smelled like herbs, was hydrating and slightly mattifying. I had the best results when I used this on top of the balm. The 1oz size retails for $22. ~ This was sent to me in exchange for my honest review. As always, opinions are my own.

Another mini review of the Lenus No. 1 Vitamin C Face Balm! Unfortunately, this one was not for me. I patch tested this 4 times on different areas of my face and each place erupted into lots of little whiteheads the next morning 😢😭 ⠀ I actually really wish this product worked for me because it seems perfect for my dry skin. This balm is a very solid product that's made with tons of awesome ingredients: shea butter, buriti oil, kokum butter, ascorbyl palmitate, marula oil, rosehip seed oil, and so many more. The balm smells like herbs/earthy and citrus and is very pleasant. ⠀ The balm itself can be used as a moisturizer or even a cleansing balm. I've only tried it at the end of my routine as a moisturizer, and a little goes a long way. I either rub the tip of my finger into the balm for a few seconds and apply or use a spatula to scoop out a tiny bit because the balm is very solid. ⠀ The patches of skin where I tried the product felt really soft and well moisturized (before I broke out from it), so I'd say this is pretty good for dry skin. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of the product so if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Review: LĒNUS No.01 Vitamin C+B+E Beauty Balm - I struggle with how to get all the best anti-aging and antioxidant ingredients (plus anti-acne!) on my face without destroying my moisture barrier. I already use RX-strength tretinoin (Retin-A) and azealic acid. With this treatment, my most breakout prone areas get dry, notably my chin gets flaky. - I've been trying to get vitamin C back into my routine recently, experimenting with an L-ascorbic acid serum on my cheeks and forehead. This is a bit drying and I am building up to it. My chin, however, cannot handle it. That is where this balm with an oil-soluble form of vitamin C caught my eye (L-ascorbyl Palmitate) - Vitamin C has Brightening and collagen building properties. While most of these studies have been done on the water soluble L-ascorbic acid, derivatives of vitamin C are becoming popular because of better stability and less harshness on skin. This balm has L-ascorbyl Palmitate as the fourth ingredient, after shea butter and other oils. I do not know the percentage of vitamin C, but it is high up on the ingredient list, unlike other similar products I've seen advertising vitamin C content. - This is a thick balm with a herbal scent. I've been using this product on my chin at night, after face oil. While I haven't had this long enough to see Brightening, I have noticed great moisturizing from this. Lenus's No. 01 Vitamin C Face Balm is designed to nourish and tone skin. It contains 30 ml (1 oz) and has a very strong, but pleasant scent of the mixed ingredients. It has an oily consistency and blends easily into the skin. Recommended use is to apply on the face as often as necessary to moisturize. It can also be used as a cleansing balm by massaging a teaspoon of product and wipe off with a hot washcloth. After using, I found that after using, the spots I applied it to remained very moisturized and it helped to alleviate some of the redness in my skin. It does absorb in well without too much of an oily residue leftover. Dry areas on my face really looked more moisturized after all. The scent is pretty strong but not overly noticeable and I didn't notice any skin irritation. What I like: my skin really looks better in the spots that I used this product on and it's great for the dry and cold weather. It's high quality and has great ingredients and it warms to the touch so it's easy to apply without a problem. This can be used to remove makeup and I haven't noticed any blemishes from the oily content. There is also a lot of product so it'll last a long time. What I don't like: nothing really. Rating: 10/10
