Benton: Snail Bee High Content Essence / / Haven't been active for the past week because I was busy studying for the SAT that I just took yesterday! (Whew hope I get a high score so that I don't have to EVER take it again 😅) Gotta catch up on these reviews!~ / / Disclaimer: I received this courtesy of @0.8l_usa and @bentoncosmetic in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. / 🌱 What it is: An essence with snail filtrate, bee venom (hence the name) It's a clear gel essence, so I compared this product with the Cosrx 96 Snail Mucin Essence (which I really like). It's supposed to help improve your complexion and hydrate and smoothen the skin. Snail filtrate (or Mucin) is also supposed to help fade acne scars. Personally, two pumps is enough for each use! / 🌱 Packaging/design: I like the simple design and the easy-to-use pump bottle! I do wish that it didn't come in such a small bottle because it is almost half a size smaller than the Cosrx Snail Essence. / 🌱 Scent: This product actually smelled a bit unpleasant like plastic? I'm not sure if it's just my batch, but I smell the same plastic smell in the Benton essence, skin, and lotion. Not sure if it's the ingredients or the packaging that caused this. Either way, it's a bit unpleasant when applying, but seemed to disappear on the skin. / 🌱 Ingredients: Contains several beneficial ingredients! Snail filtrate is the first ingredient 💃🏻 No parabens! / 🌱 Effects: I'm pretty pleased with this product! Other than the weird scent, the texture is very lightweight and watery on the skin. After a minute, it completely sinks into my skin and leaves a matte finish. I find that it hydrates pretty well, and doesn't agitate any acne. I've only used this for about 2 weeks, but I noticed that my acne scars have slightly faded and became less red. (However, I still need long term use to determine its full effect) Doesn't seem to clog pores either. Overall, a very nice essence. / 🌱 Cost: $20 (on Amazon & @sokoglam) which is definitely a bit pricey in my opinion since it's only 60 mL 😭 Worth trying, but I would purchase the Cosrx one over this. / / Overall I rate this a 8.5/10 / Would I repurchase?: Maybe

I was given this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I wish they'd give us more time to truly be able to express the products effectiveness. Some products I feel like take time and consistency. This product contains high content of snail extract and bee venom. Very powerful ingredients such as snail mucin and bee venom to help heal scars, brighten skin tone, and maintain hydration day and night. Great essence recommended for people with sensitive and troubled skin or for people who wants maintain their youth and prevents aging. Product review: squirts out like gel. Clear with no real scent, which is a bonus for me because I layer products. It's easily spreadable and a little goes a long way. I recommend dispensing 1 pump and dabbling in each quadrant .Super hydrating and makes my skin feel plump .I would recommend this as part of a skin care regimen.

Review: Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence What is it: An all in one multitasking essence which is oil free, so it works well for people with oily skin and it also boost hydration before moisturizers making it beneficial for people with dry skin. This essence help to balance skin’s water and oil regardless of skin types. The light formula spreads well like water upon application. Main Ingredients include: Snail Secretion Filtrate: which contains snail mucin, allantoin, collagen, and elastin which all help moisturize, balance sebum, and recover skin. Bee Venom: which is an anti-inflammatory, protects the skin and relieves skin problems Vitamin B3: which helps in brightening the skin Adenosine: helps prevent aging skin This has been one of the best essences I have tried. It defiantly has improved my skin’s uneven texture and really helped added moisture back into my skin. It also helped improving the overall redness of my face due to eczema. This product did not dry out the eczema on my face and really helped improve it. I really like that this essence does not have any scent to it and absorbs very quickly into the skin. This essence is also a gel-like essence instead of a watery essence which overall which I have learned I now prefer, due to my very dry skin. The packaging is also really great, I really like that it has a pump, which helps not wasting a whole lot of product. I believe I will continue to buy this product once this one runs out. hello lovelies~ I had the pleasure of trying Benton's Snail Bee High Content Essence through 0.8L at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. all thoughts and opinions are solely my own. This product is Benton's first product and its best selling product worldwide. the essence is oil free, helps to boosts hydration before using a moisturizer, and balances the water and oil levels of your skin regardless of your skin type. the product has a gel like consistency that is light and easy to spread. It absorbs quite fast into my skin. Snail Filtrate, which helps to protect the skin, is the second ingredient on the list (water being first). Bee Venom, which helps the skin recover, is the ninth ingredient on the list. This essence also contains niacinamide and adenosine which help to brighten and smooth your complexion. I haven't been using the product long enough to be able to say whether it improved my skin condition or not, but as someone with dry and sensitive skin, it does make my skin feel instantly hydrated and slightly brighter right after application. It is a very lightweight essence and has a very faint smell that I can't quite put my nose on. I will say that I have been using the skin, essence and lotion from this same line all together for the past few days and while my skin feels hydrated upon application, my skin starts to feel thirsty and dry after a few hours. the products are all quality products but for my skin, they are not quote hydrating enough by themselves to keep my skin from feeling dry throughout the day. adding a heavier cream at the end of my routine, definitely helps to lock in the moisture though. #benton #bentoncosmetic #SNAILBEEHIGHCONTENTESSENCE #ESSENCE #kbeauty #08L

My skin: dry, sensitive, a few pores around the sides of my nose. I use an oil cleanser (Tatcha) or Cetaphil to wash with, and exfoliate once a week with a powder exfoliant (also Tatcha). The product: Clear, unscented (not even a 'chemical' smell to be noticed), and like most essences, the consistency is somewhat watery/liquid-ey so it spreads easily. I use 1 and 1/2 pumps to cover my whole face, or 2 pumps if I want to cover my neck as well. I generally use this twice a day, or however many times I cleanse my face. The results: As I had fairly good skin before using this product, I don't know if there was a -huge- impact as far as results. However, I did notice my skin had a bit more of a healthy glow, and definitely brightened up overall. I'm sure the whitening proprieties of this product aided that process a bit. I've gotten quite a few compliments on my skin since I added this to my skincare regime although I do have a few notes-- 1. If you have dry skin like I do, I suggest using a skin softener or moisturizer fairly soon after application of this product to seal it in properly. 2. Don't be discouraged if you break out in a few small pimples after starting--I had a 2-3 small ones the first week or so, then they cleared up and I haven't had a breakout since (I generally stick with a product for 10 days before making any final decisions on it).. 3. This product DOES contain arbutin--I know some people don't like to use 'unnatural' products and are wary of using skin lightening products, so just know that this essence does contain some.

I've been wanting to try the Benton snail bee high content essence for a while now! I was able to try this through 0.8liter for a reduced price and my honest review. If you follow a lot of the Korean skincare this would be a 2nd essence rather than a first because it is a bit thicker but still very lightweight. i love that this doesn't really have a scent because it makes it better for more people to use. My skin soaks this up so quickly and really seems to fine with it so far. I was afraid that it may cause some breakouts because my skin can be pretty sensitive but so far so good! This a good product to try if you're trying to get into Korean skincare but don't want to spend too much money. it is budget friendly and is a very good quality for the price.

Im just gonna start by saying "I LOVE THIS" & " WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO FIND YOU?" . Benton loads this essence with snail filtrate, aloe, bee venom, & niacinamide. All of these ingredients are within the 1st 8 ingredients of the product. Which means the higher the concentration is. Essence is the 3rd or 4th step in a K beauty routine (depending upon a double cleanse or not). 1-make up removal w/oil, 2-cleanse, 3- toner, 4-essence, 5-serums/ampoles, 6-treatments i.e: eye /acne care etc., 7-moisturize Thats not it, thats my basic. The steps go up if adding masks and what not. The essence doesn't have a notable scent to me. It is a clear gel that absorbs quickly and dries without barely any tacky feeling-which BTW doesnt matter to me, cause serums and moisturizer solves that. I feel this is right were it is supposed to be, a step to prep the skin to better absorb the next steps of your routines! As i said, I LOVE IT. Having oily skin, i need light products to complete a successful K Beauty routine. This fits the bill perfect. I will definitely repurchase. The product is super resonable, under 20bucks. + it's a good size. I imagine with daily use I will get 3-4months worth of product, based on similiar things I've used b4.

They’ve known to be a natural brand who presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production. . 🌿 I’m currently using my @cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and been in love with it. So when I see another snail product, plus from a brand I’m aiming to try. I know I have to have my hand on this essence. . 🌿 This famous essence is Benton’s first product and the worldwide bestselling signature product of Benton. It formulated with snail secretion filtrate combined with bee venom which help to protect and recover skin. As well as brighten up and smooth skin complexion with niacinamide and adenosine, suitable for a wide range of skin types. . 🌿 I have using this as a substitute to my Cosrx essence to test and compare the two products. First noticed, it’s lightweight and sinks easily into the skin, well hydrated but not as good as my Cosrx one. I feel like it doesn’t give enough moisture, but no further ado on that since hydration isn’t it’s mainly claimed. I use one pump for my entire face, it spreads effortlessly and not tacky at all afterward. I think propolis/ honey /bee venom is my favorite ingredient of all. Spoiler- This is probably my best 08L purchase to date! This is @bentoncosmetic signature product, with star ingredients including snail secretion filtrate, bee venom, niacinamide, adenosine. These are naturally derived ingredients that claim to provide brightening and aging care. . 💖 The texture is a clear gel that melts easily onto the skin. It absorbs instantly leaving a very smooth, matte finish. I do see some redness relief, but no actual whitening. However, Ive only used this for a week. Since texture is one of my biggest concerns, this has earned a spot in my daily routine, am and pm! This would be good for all skin types although may not be hydrating enough for dry skin. . 💖 I also appreciate the packaging. It is plastic but feels sturdy. I love the pump, it dispenses just the right amount (1.5 is enough for me!) . 💖 I did hear that this was recently re formulated, but since its my first time using I cant compare. However, this is pretty impressive! Definitely keeping it in the routine! . On the other hand, still disappointed that my Benton toner has still not arrived after 2 months. 🙁 . .

Review: Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence is a moisturizing serum that offers skin protection, nutrition, skin vitality, and barrier improvement. . . Ingredients: 🐌 Snail secretion filtrate, bee 🐝 venom, sh-Oligopeptide-1, aloe, collagen, willow bark extract, beta-glucan, etc. . . This essence is a gel-like serum that spreads very nicely onto my face. It sinked right into my checks and it immediately moisturized my face. I didn't notice any remarkable difference to my skin in the one week that I used it, but I love that it's unscented and that it seemed to help soothe the redness on my checks (somewhat). I think it's a very nice, basic serum to have in your collection (at a really affordable price point) if you want a snail secretion product. . . One thing to note is that they changed the formula-- the ingredients list on an older box starts off with snail secretion filtrate as the main ingredient, followed by aloe leaf juice and glycerin as second and third ingredients, respectively. However, on the newer version (what I got for this campaign), the first ingredient is water, then snail secretion filtrate, and then BG, so on. I took a picture of both boxes in the second picture: the newer formula (what they sent for 08l campaign) is on the left, with the older formula on the right. I cannot tell a huge difference in the texture between the two, but I do wonder why they had to change the ingredients-- I would assume everyone would appreciate snail secretion filtrate as the first ingredient over water. . .
