If you are looking for a hydrating toner, I highly recommend you check out isoi’s bulgarian rose toner. It claims to nourish, hydrate and sooth skin. While I’m not sure about the soothing aspect, I did feel that my skin was nicely hydrated after use.i was actually surprised by this because my skin doesn’t take to rose oil very well, which is the star ingredient. There is a light rose fragrance to this which I found a little irritating on sensitive days which is why I had to knock off a star, but if you aren’t bothered by fragrances in your products this shouldn’t bother you.

I love the purple glass color! The essence has a faint rose scent that is not too over bearing. The name “tonic essence” made me wonder if it is a multi-tasker (toner + essence) since the website did not give any explanation about this. Well if it does, a 2-in-1 product will really cuts time efficiently (Yay to more multitasking products lazy girl skin care 101!). Anyway, when I’m in a hurry (read: lazy), I just think of it as a 2-in-1 toner + essence & apply it after cleaning my face. The direction in the website said to soak the cotton pad with the Tonic Essence, then apply the pad thoroughly and evenly to the face. But sometimes I use my hand… I just couldn’t help seeing the tonic essence wasted on the pad. The first thing I notice is my face feeling refreshed and moisturized. It also help the serum & moisturizer I apply after to absorb better, since the end result makes my skin looked hydrated, more glowing and slightly brighter. Overall I find this product wonderful!

This is my review of the Bulgarian Rose Moisture Tonic Essence! 🌹🌱🌹 This is the second product I’ve tried from ISOI. The first was the Bulgarian rose lip balm, which I love and use every day. I love this company because they are committed to using quality ingredients. Most of the products I’ve seen from the company have Bulgarian rose in the ingredients as well. This tonic essence is a really nice addiction to my skincare collection and routine!🌹🌱🌹 The main ingredient is Bulgarian rose oil of course, along with many other natural ingredients that are beneficial to skin. This product preps and balances your skin for the rest of your skincare regimen. It also deeply hydrates to promote skins ability to recover on its own. It keeps hydration within the skin which is great! 🌹🌱🌹 I like to use this product after I wash and tone my face at night right before my more gel like essence and serums. The packaging on this product is stunning, first and foremost. It comes in a lavender frosted glass bottle, which looks tasteful and nice on my vanity. I have been drawn more to essences in last few months. They have been a nice addition to my routine during the winter months, and I can also see this being refreshing in the summer. This essence includes Bulgarian Rose oil, as well as vitamins A and C amongst other beneficial skin ingredients. The consistency of this essence was watery but sunk into skin easily and was not sticky. There was little to no smell to this product. These liquid Rose 🌹 toners & moisture rich products are so delicious! I’ve been using this product for several weeks & have made it part of my regular routine that I nearly forgot I was actually reviewing it. Okay, this particular Bulgarian Rose Moisture Tonic Essence by isoi is a mild tonic that I use as my toner, especially in my morning routine. It smells very soft & mild, and it feels refreshing & cool on my skin long after I’ve cleaned my face. There is something about this Rose tonic vs. Others I have tried that has a tiny little bite to it. The cooling sensation from the Rose tonic has a slight tingle to it that sits in my skin for 15-20 after use. I happen to really like that because it makes my face feel clean & fresh that much longer! I’ve noticed that my skin feels more supple since I began using this tonic/toner on a daily basis. This Essence reminded me of Son & Park's Beauty Water and Missha's First Treatment Essence. It's not the most hydrating toner (compared to those toners out there that are more serum-like with high viscosity), but it is very ideal for multiple layers (7-step), and feels very refreshing without feeling sticky, even after all those layers. I usually pour onto my palm to press the product into my face, but I also tried using cotton pads to gently swipe my face, and that felt great too-- definitely felt like it helped other products penetrate my skin better. . There is a light floral scent (from the rose oil?), which is nice and natural-smelling, but I can also detect a little bit of alcohol (barely, though), so it might or might not bother some. If there were no alcohol (or at least it was way down in the ingredients list instead of being the third), then this would have been so perfect 👌🏻. The alcohol seems to be naturally-derived (according to a different isoi product's ingredients list), but I've found that it could sometimes unexpectedly sting my dry patches, so I would've liked it very much if it were left out all together. . . 💋 Isoi Bulgarian Rose Moisture Tonic Essence ✨Claims: the product claims to nourish and hydrate deep into the skin along with leave skin feeling refreshed and smooth. ✨Packaging: the packaging feels luxurious with a sturdy frosted glass bottle, but it won’t be convenient for traveling. The first time I used it, I was worried that the content will flow directly when I shake the bottle but it’s actually not. ✨Texture: colorless liquid as water. ✨Scent: it smells beautifully of rose mixed with a little of alcohol and goes away as soon as the product absorbs anyway. ✨Ingredients: Rosa Damascena Flower Water/Oil (helps heal wound, anti-inflammatory, reduces redness), Olive Leaf Extract (antioxidant, anti-inflammmatory), Rhus Semialata Gall Extract (retains moisture). Be aware that Alcohol is the 3rd ingredient. ✨Results: I mainly use it as a toner for 7-skin method by pouring it into my palm and patting into my skin. I have been using this tonic for a while and I love it. To begin with the size of this bottle is amazing, it is super big. I have some problem finding toner because most of them tend to dry my skin so bad and make my skin feels a sensation of itching, I have never before tolerated any tonic after scrubbing my face because of that but this one is so different. I have tried it in the morning, at night, after scrubbing my face and I haven’t feel any itching so far and it neither dries my skin, in fact it leaves it soft. Comes in a beautiful frosted glass bottle and opens to a fresh floral scent. I use this at the Moisture Toner step of my routine. It has a thin watery feel to it that immediately absorbs deep into the layers of your skin. While it is also considered an "essence" toner with an impressive list of botanical extracts, the light fluid has such a driving effect that I like to use another First Starting Essence before it then apply the Isoi Moisture Toner over it to fully drive all the essence-y goodness into my skin. I prefer not to use a cotton pad. I just pour a few drops into my palm then "tap-tap-tap" into my skin. I LOVE the feeling in the morning - the liquid's cold wetness is like a morning wake up for my face. It's a great moisturizing start to my routine as I continue through the remaining steps. It does have a strong floral scent to it so if you're sensitive to fragrances, this may not be the toner for you. For the rest of us, I can highly recommend this toner as a moisturizing step in your routine. Additionally, despite the $29 price point, it only takes a few drops per use & by the looks of it so far, it should last quite a long time so it's a decent value for what you're getting. I've been impressed with everything I've tried from the ISOI line. Their products are natural & high performing to provide serious moisture even in cold dry climates. Since, my review is due and this product was extremely delayed I have only had about 10 days or so to test this product out... So I will keep this review sweet and simple... .. [Scent] Rose with something else...I kind of find it mildly musky. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is but I smell something other than rose...To be honest I am not a fan of this scent. It does eventually dissipate but using it as multiple layers it did get a little overwhelming. . [Consistency & Performance] It is definitely not what I expected. I expected something slightly viscous consistency but I don't mind it being watery. It actually works well as multi layering or #7skinmethod routine. It absorbs nicely and it hydrates surprisingly well. . [Final Thought] I think I would like this as a mist...I would probably end up decanting this into a mist bottle and use it as a mid-day hydrating picker upper mist. I for one love essential oils and products that hydrate the face. ISOR BR First class Bulgarian Rose moisture Tonic essence is fabulous and I use daily for a clean and smooth feel. My face stays dry and dehydrated during the workday from the exposure to the sun and I highly recommend this product after a rough day on the job for a healthy balance..

I have used this toner over the last two weeks and really enjoyed it. Thank you isoi and 08L for sending this to me in exchange for my honest review. I like using this moisturizer/toner in the morning after I have cleansed my face. It has a lovely light rose sand and does not disturb my sensitive skin. It would take longer to see a brightening a fact, but it does contain licorice root extract, so that would be expected. I had a good experience with this toner not drying out my skin however I see on its list of ingredients alcohol which can be drying, and botanicals which can aggravate sensitive skin. It would be up to the individual to test this and see how it does on your skin.

This moisture tonic works very good, I incorporated into my skin routine in the pm after cleaning and before my exfoliant. The fragrance is slightly floral yet fresh and clean. My skin feels less tight and more replenish of the moisture it lost when I cleaned it. The bottle is easy and convenient to use. The only con I found was that I wish it could provide a bit more moister to the skin.
