[08L REVIEW] .. .. [Product] @desserttable_official Very Moist Berry Recipe Cream . [What it Claims] - The product claims to deliver elasticity and moisture to dry skin. It also claims to help brightens and improves the appearance for wrinkles. .. [First Impression] Don't you just love this minimal packaging concept..? Clean, simple and simply cute! I love it! .. [My Thoughts].. Scent - light, mild, slight soapy and floral scent. This scent actually reminds me of Japanese skincare products. But to be honest, I don't mind the scent, it's not overwhelming nor offense to my nose... . Texture & Performance - lightweight, slightly runny and it absorbs nicely without feeling heavy. My felt soft and supple upon application. I have used it for both morning and evening routines. Although it gave me a good moisture after applying the cream, I have noticed that it did not give me the prolong moisture I needed. This product may not be ideal for anything with dry skin...probably more suitable for normal or even oily skin because the cream is super light weight. . [Final Thoughts] The condition of my skin overall has been pretty good so I did not experience drastic improvement...however I do think this cream does a wonderful job considering how lightweight the cream is. It settles and absorbs nicely with a matte finish which makes this product an ideal daytime cream. Will I recommend...yes! Anyone with normal, combination or even oily skin, I think it will work well...it's probably not ideal if you are suffering from extremely dry or dehydrated skin. Another cream that I've been rather enjoying! Smells like refreshing berries and works very well with my combo skin. It is more like a gel cream, though slightly less watery and hydrating and a little more moisturizing/nourishing. It dries down pretty well, with little stick left. So far doesn't pill with sunscreen or makeup application and feels pretty light. I can find plenty of nighttime creams, but it's pretty rare foe me to come across one that works well as a day cream. Packaging looks nice and Instagrammable in pictures, but it's a pretty cheap plastic container. And no spatula. Why? 🤔 (spatula in this pic is actually one of my many spares that I keep 🤣)

I got this in the mail maybe two weeks ago. I used it once and haven’t used it again. It is moisturizing. But it leaves my face very shiny, almost greasy looking. I’m a matte finish person so this was a flop for me and I’ll be giving it to my sister. However, if you are a fan of the shiny look. It may work for you!

Review: Desert Table Very Moist Berry Recipe Cream I absolutely love the packaging of this product. The product and the package itself are both so light weight. I didn’t really enjoy the scent of the product, it didn’t remind me of berries at all but more of a floral soapy smell but the scent didn’t linger all day. I also didn’t agree with the name of this product “very moist”. I have extremely dry skin and I felt like this cream did not do a whole lot for my dry skin, when used for either a night cream or day cream right now in these winter months. This product did well with my sensitive skin so I will be keeping this product around to give it another try in the summer due to the amazing ingredients. I was surprised at how tiny and cute the packaging was when I received this cream. I was also surprised that this didn’t have much of a berry scent to it, but rather almost floral. While the cream moisturized my skin, it is definitely not an all day cream. I think this will be a good summer time moisturizer as it’s not heavy. It is lightweight and absorbed easily. I will definitely save this for the summer months and incorporate this into my routine then. Thank you to 0.8L for sending this for my review at a trial fee.

Very Moist Berry Recipe Cream has a name that makes me hungry. Because I imagine myself eating a pound of freshly washed berries 😋 And I had seen this brand float around the gram a bit, which is what prompted me to buy it from 08l to try it out. . . . For starters it only mildly smells like berries, like a light berry Yogurt. But take that observation with a grain of salt because I have slightly weak sense of smell. It does include berry extracts in it's formula: blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and cranberry along with some Niacinamide for good measure. Texture wise this is not a good winter cream. It's quite light and better suited for spring or summer. I found myself often needing to put a richer thicker cream on top. Perhaps oily skin types would like this lighter texture more 🤔. As for efficacy I didn't notice much aside from hydration, it made a nice emulsion step for my dry-as-a-bone skin. I've been wanting to try #DessertTable skincare for so long, and I finally got a chance with this Very Moist Berry Recipe Cream! ⠀ The packaging of the cream (and the box) are absolutely adorable with its dessert theme. The jar itself is a solid white plastic that feels pretty sturdy, and looks minimally and gorgeous. ⠀ This cream might sound like a heavy cream from the name, but it's actually a fairly light gel cream with a light, fresh, and slightly soapy/floral scent. The scent is very light and doesn't linger on the skin at all. I almost wish it smelled like berry candy! ⠀ The cream itself absorbs into the skin very quickly and makes my skin feel soft. I'd say this cream is better for oilier skin types, but I will continue using it while the weather is hot and see how well it works. ⠀ For the past 5 days that I've had this cream, it hasn't been enough moisture for my dry and dehydrated skin. I have to heavily layer under the cream for it to be enough, and even then I woke up in the morning with dry skin a couple of times. ⠀ Ingredient highlights include raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, acai berry, and blackberry, niacinamide, and adenosine. This cream is made with extracts from five berries, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, and açaí berries. It’s supposed to balance moisture and control oil, while also helping with some brightening. I was expecting a berry scent, but it’s more of a perfume-y scent. I’m not a huge fan of it and it tends to linger after I apply it. The cream itself is a very light, almost water-y cream. Sometimes it slides off my finger when I’m trying to scoop it out of the jar. (It didn’t come with a spatula.) I think it would be much easier to use if it was in a tube. It absorbs really well and manages to keep my skin decently moisturized. It’s not enough moisture for me on its own, but it’s always easy to apply another layer of something else on top. I like how refreshed it makes my face feel, it has a sort of cooling effect when I put it on. Retails for $26 3.5/5 Probably won’t repurchase because of the scent and the packaging but other than that, it’s pretty good.
