It turned out to be quite a useful little thing I didn't know I wanted. I admit I'm a bit unreasonably paranoid about someone hacking my laptop webcam. But thats because I actually know someone who had that done to them. So I put a piece of tape over it. Looks cheap and shabby but gets the job done. So I think this cover by Steagle is pretty nifty. The cover smoothly slides to the side to reveal the camera when you want to use it. My only complaint is the adhesive came off when I was trying to take off the backing. I fixed it and now it sticks on quite well, but it was a small annoyance.

It's sleek, matches my laptop color and honestly looks like it belongs to my laptop. I like it, it's nothing big and spectacular but it does what it says.

I don’t have my computer but since I got two I’ll show you in the package. I actually think this is super cool and fits my computer well. It does lag a little when you slide it but I’d rather it be tight than easily moved.

Technology Product Review Product: STEAGLE Webcam Cover Conclusion: Awesome! . . . . . Recently, I’ve had to take a lot more webinars online. I noticed that sometimes the video camera would turn on automatically, which has been a huge concern of mine. My other concern in regards to the webcam stemmed from hearing about people hacking the webcams in laptops. These people could turn on the video without your consent or knowledge, as their hacking technology would be able to keep the indicator light from turning on. I had begun to use a little piece of paper and had been sticking it over the camera portion of my laptop, but knew that it wasn’t the most professional look. It also had a need to be replaced often due to the stickiness wearing off. When I found out about this product, I was super excited to try it out. I think not only is the quality good, I received a silver item, so the color fits seamlessly with my laptop. The part that slides does not slide on its own, but also does not pose any troubles with a simple finger and very light pressure to slide it over. Getting the product on my laptop was very simple and the two bars holding the mechanism do not get in the way of the camera as long as you position it properly.

Loving this Steagle Webcam cover! It's so easy to apply/install and I like how small, thin and simple it is. Looks really sleek and fits my macbook really well. The cover slides smoothly and it holds position well enough that it won't slide on its own. Best thing about it? I CAN FINALLY USE MY WEBCAM AGAIN. No more band-aids! There's not really much to say because the product is pretty straightforward but overall it's a nice webcam cover and definitely would recommend!

This product is great! I was worried my laptop might not close all the way but this has a very slim design. It is also fairly easy to slide. The only thing I would change is to remove the logo so it could completely blend in with the laptop like nothing is there.

This little gadget from Steagle is so cute! I usually don’t take my laptop out in public, so I never even realized this was a thing, but now I can see why one would want the privacy. This device accessory covers the camera on your laptop as to keep your camera fully protected from any sort of hacking or funny business when not in use. Very sleek and discreet, I don’t mind attaching this to my computer. The cover slides easily to the right when you wish to use your camera, then simply returns to its home position to cover it. Y’all, there’s this app called 0.8L that I’ve been using that lets you get cool products for FREE (or extremely cheap trial prices with free shipping). It’s my new favorite thing. Recently I got this cute webcam cover by Steagle for free in return for an honest review (RTP $10!) I’m someone who has her webcam covered in tape 24/7 if I’m not using it, so this made my life easier (and my laptop look way better). It’s made of thin aluminum, and it has stickers on the back of the slides so it stays on easy. Pros: It properly hides my camera when I don’t want to use it, it’s way easier to “take off” (aka slide over) than tape when you actually want to use your webcam, and it’s sleek so it doesn’t interfere with shutting your laptop or anything. The only con is that upon sliding it a few times, you can tell just how thin and flimsy it is. I’m afraid it’ll break one of these days, but for the time being it’ll do 👍 Overall a really great concept!
