The Commleaf Aha Filling Liquid is a DIY style AHA mask- it comes with 4 individual mask coins and a separate liquid to use with them. The instructions dictate to pour the liquid into the dry mask until saturated, and then apply the mask to the face, waiting 3 minutes, and then removing... so, I tried those directions once, and found them kinda pointless. This mask is marketed as an AHA product, however the AHA within the mask comes from fruit extracts so the strength of the acids are very weak, certainly not anywhere in the realm of needing to be removed after only 3 minutes. Perhaps if you have exceedingly sensitive skin, but then why would you be using an AHA in the first place? Instead, I opted to treat this as more of a watery essence type product, and integrated it into my full routine. I found the liquid to be very runny, like water, but has a definitive moisturizing touch to it. If you're accustomed to propolis products, this has some of those similar constituencies, a very mild oiliness that sinks in easily even on oily skin. As an essence, I found that this product offered decent hydration, and left my skin with a nice glow. Commleaf AHA Green Tea Peeling Liquid (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This soothing & moisturizing set contains a green tea AHA liquid that has a patented blend (10-0912596) of seven natural botanicals that will help soothe, calm and heal your skin ~ centella, polygonum cuspidatum, scutellaria baicalensis, green tea, licorice, chamomile and rosemary. The green tea extract (1000ppm) are specially harvested and refined to help provide antioxidant care. This contains AHA's in the form of sugar cane, maple sugar, lemon and orange extracts , which will help remove dead skin cells, dirt, excess oil from the surface of your skin and this has a pH level of about a 3.5 to 4. This also has papain in it, a papaya enzyme that will help dissolve dirt, debris, excess sebum and dead skin cells, smoothing and refining your skin's texture. I do not know the percentage of AHA in here, so I have to assume with that pH level, it provides more hydration than hardcore exfoliation, but overtime, will provide exfoliating benefits. . . This came in a box set with the 100 mL green tea liquid, which is very watery and smells minty fresh, along with 4 pods of a dry 'coin' mask. I also received 4 additional dry masks in a box set ~ but this was a black charcoal infused mask, which I have never seen dry charcoal mask sheets. To use, just open up a pod and fill it up with the liquid ~ there is not measurement of how much liquid to add, so the first few times, I did underestimate the amount of liquid and my sheet mask was way too dry. The coin mask will expand and then you remove it, unfold it and place on your face. I had to re-wet the mask by adding more of the liquid. The mask is an awful fit and a thicker material that doesn't adhere well ~ most of these dry mask pods are like that and since I only leave this on for 2 to 3 minutes, it isn't that big of a deal. The mask is very cooling and refreshing on my skin and when I removed it after 3 minutes, my skin did feel revitalized, very hydrated and still cool to the touch ~ my pores looked very clean and looked smaller and tighter, due to the astringent properties in the ingredients list. There was no sticky residue and the liquid absorbed quickly into my skin, without irritation. I really like this liquid a lot, so I might just use it as a toner instead of a sheet mask ~ I hope that Commleaf is more readily available in the USA, as this is a fantastic kit and I love it! Aha Filling Liquid set Promises to help dissolve dead skn on the surface promoting the cell turnover. Thanks to honey and propolis this product also hydrates and nourishes the skin makes it looks moisturized bright and healthy. . Active ingredients AHA from fruit extracts - bilberry sugar cane sugar maple orange and lemon sodium hyaluronate propolis extract 1000pm honey extract 1000pm allantoin and lavender oil. This product comes in as a kit including bottle of peeling liquid 100 ml and 4 dry coin masks plus 4 extra ones in another box. Consistency of the greenish liquid is light watery a little bit foamy with very subtle lavender scent and tea tree. In making the mask puff up pour some of the liquid peeler into coin mask container wait for 20-30 seconds until mask is soaked and apply on clean face for 2-3 minutes. I used this mask after washing my face and it was so easy. Open little pack pour some peeler in the small cup and watch it grow. You pour enough liquid to cover it in the cup. No waste since the masks soaked up the peeler liquid. I’ve done peels before, but this one I actually felt tingling and very refreshed afterwards. My skin looked glowing. I would definitely do this again.

Consistency of the yellowish liquid is light, watery, a little bit foamy with very subtle lavender scent (kind of medicinal). The usage is simple: poor some amount of liquid into small jar with coin mask, wait for 20-30 seconds until mask is soaked and looks puffed and apply on clean face for 2-3 minutes. I used 2 coin masks and about third of bottle of liquid and didn't see any benefits or improvements on my face similar to what I have after regular acid peeling. It also didn't cause any negative reactions which is good thing. I tried to use liquid alone instead of my acid toner each over day. Then I noticed some expected effects: smooth and radiant skin, better absorption of another skincare and total disappearance of dryness. . . 💠Comments: As I said earlier for my, already used to acids skin this peeling is not very efficent. I continue to use liquid only instead of toner for month or more until our sun becomes more active. But I would suggest this product for the beginners in acids "field" or for someone with very sensitive, thin and reactive skin. Don't be afraid and use it on weekly base. The natural AHAs are great for effectively exfoliating, but the mask is not too aggressive and did a nice job without causing irritation, possibly due to the hydrating honey and soothing propolis included in the liquid. A nice set.
