I really like the sleek package design and the big push button on the top is a unique way to dispense the product. Now this is sold as a serum but the very thick texture is anything but a serum. It’s more of a watery cream but it is very sticky, doesn’t seem to want to sink into my skin very fast and leaves a shine that doesn’t go away. It stays on the top layer of my skin so I’m not noticing any difference in hydration and it doesn’t seem to make a difference in wrinkle care and elasticity. I do like that it has no chemicals or bad ingredients but it’s way too expensive to not sink into my skin or hydrate well, so its a no for me. My second product from Dr.JmeeLab. Madecassoside Calming Serum This is a cream-based serum in a pump bottle, super easy to apply and the scent is so relaxing. A key ingredient in this serum is Jeju seawater, which is highly prized for its rare minerals. Let’s see if this serum will be my favorite!

Hello friends! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. Tonight I'll be reviewing another product from one of my very favorite companies: Dr. Jmeelab. This is the Madeca Rejuvenating Calming Serum. This serum was specifically formulated for those with sensitive, dry skin, but all skin types can use this. This serum locks in moisture, which in turn helps to build a healthy skin barrier. It also improves the skin's ability to rejuvenate by using powerful ingredients like Jeju island sea water, panthenol, triglycerides, trehalose, madecassoside, asiaticoside, centella asiatica extract, hydrangea leaf extract, aloe leaf extract, chrysanthemum flower extract, grapefruit peel oil, and adenosine, among other ingredients. There are no artificial pigments, no chemical fragrance, no mineral oil, and no animal materials. YAY!!! Directions: after cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer to the entire face and neck area. Rub in until absorbed. My thoughts: While this is a serum, it doesn't have the same consistency of most serums. This is more like a thick, white cream that absorbs completely once applied without greasiness or stickiness. I received the DR. JMEELAB MADECA REJUVENATING CALMING SERUM from 08l_usa for $3.99 in exchange for my honest review. This product claims to calm angry skin, reduce and prevent wrinkles and is fast absorbing. It is also recommended for sensitive skin. First of all, even though this is called a serum, it’s more like a white gel. I used it as a daytime moisturizer because it gives your skin a matte appearance even though it is lightweight and hydrating. It did absorb very quickly but my skin isn’t typically “angry.” I try to keep it pretty happy because I am stuck with it! I didn’t notice any immediate results so I will continue use to see if it improves wrinkles. This product retails for $64.00 for a 1 oz bottle. I wish that I had more time to test this product to give a proper recommendation but at this time, I can’t.

It provides comfort and moisturization for rough, sensitive skin, and to help wounds and dermatological procedures heal while protecting the skin from an external composition by forming a thin artificial membrane over the area.   🌞HOW TO USE ME: After cleansing your skin with toner, pump a small amount and massage it in gently.  If you are using it for wounds, use a larger amount and slather it on.   🌞MY THOUGHTS: I suffered a bad sunburn over the 4th of July holiday and decided this would be the perfect time to test out this serum.  The worst areas were my forehead and my shoulders.  After cleansing these areas, I applied the serum on slightly heavy.  The first couple of days it halted most of the burning sensation I was experiencing and I could visibly see the redness die down.  Around the third day, I began to go thru the itching phase.  After application, my itching stopped immediately and completely!!!  I didn’t have to keep reapplying it and that was a bonus.  So far, this product has lived up to its name and every day I see more results in my skin.  I truly believe this would be great for sunburns, scratches, insect bites, etc.  It is like having a medicated band-aid on hand at all times.  The serum did not have any scent to it and it actually had a cooling effect when I used it.   When researching a place to purchase this on the net, the prices varied per site.  I highly recommend this product and I will definitely keep this stocked.

It’s made with Sea Water (Yay) Glycerin, Panthenol, Propanediol, Madecassocide, Aloe and Centella Extracts and Adenosine. It’s purpose is to administer to sensitive skin with calming and rejuvenating ingredients along with hydration. . 🍊 The texture is gel like and has a subtle citrus scent that I love! It smooths in quickly, dries down after a minute or less and works well with other products without pilling or creating drag. The packaging is sleek and colorful. You won’t find any added fragrance, artificial color, mineral oil or animal ingredients in the serum. . 🍋 I really enjoy using this serum and I’m glad that it’s available on Amazon & YesStyle. It’s currently on sale for 40% off on YesStyle ($27.54). My face, neck and hands love it. I tried Madeca Rejuvenating Calming Serum from Dr. JmeeLab. It comes in a nice, easy-to-dispense container. It is formulated for sensitive skin and includes madecassoside, which is great for healing irritated or damaged skin. The serum is a little bit thicker in consistency and more opaque than I’m used to, but not heavy at all. It spreads nicely and feels lightweight and moisturizing on my combination skin. I have a lot of acne marks from past pimples so I’m hoping this serum will help with healing those spots. The serum has a thick consistency and is very creamy. Serums that I have used in the past, were much thinner and watery. This Dr. JmeeLab Madeca Rejuvenating Calming Serum is made for sensitive skin. It doesn’t have any artificial pigment, chemical fragrance, mineral oil, or animal materials. The Dr. JmeeLab Madeca Rejuvenating Calming Serum is formulated to hydrate sensitive skin. The botanical ingredients are meant to soothe rough and red skin, improve wrinkles, add firmness, and aid in skin cell regeneration. Madecassoside is known for its healing properties, aloe vera and centella are perfect for calming skin, and Korea's Jeju Island seawater is an interesting addition to the formula for it's rare mineral content. Interestingly enough, it's not really a serum at all. It's a milky gel cream that pumps out of the bottlr without much of an issue. Rubbing in a thin layer is recommended, but the cream can be layered. The gel cream fragrance is refreshing and not too strong. So far, it does seem to plump my skin a bit but I cannot speak to much wrinkle improvement yet. My combination skin really does drink it up and my skin is left matte instead of shiny and sticky. I have to say, this is one of my favorites. Both product AND brand. I absolutely love the bottle it came in and how it is a pump style bottle. It also has a locking feature! That is a big plus for me. This cream comes out a yellowish white color. It smells citrusy and pleasant. Not too strong either. I put it on and it was not greasy at all. ord what can I say about this serum? Here's another one I've had for a short period of time - about two weeks. I've got some soft preliminary results so at least there's that but do take what I say with a grain of salt since I haven't had this as long as I've had toilet paper sitting in my storage closet. *insert hard ass eye roll here*. Gah! I know you are like when am I going to put up a non-salty review. I've got one for a sheetmask later today cause well sheetmasks are easy to review quickly as is makeup. Its skincare which takes more time & I take it seriously because as I want to spend my coins responsibly & on quality products I too want you to do the same. . . . Claims: Formulated to address the needs of sensitive skin it drenches skin in soothing moisture giving long lasting protection and improving skins regenerating capability with a powerful blend of ingredients. Contains no animal materials, pigments, or chemical fragrances. Contains 2000ppm madecassoside & 5% pure panthenol. . . . Impression: Hmmm centella asiatica is literally everywhere these days. Companies & clientele, myself included, are loving the soothing effects. One thing I love about formulations that contain heavy components of centella such as madecassoside is that it boosts my skins ability to withstand daily exfoliation & the inclusion of retinol agents into my skincare. In the winter I experienced increased sensitivity to these treatments due to dryness of my skin & overall compromise to my barrier. These days thats definitely a thing of the past & I think its largely due to the inclusion of more products such as this one with cica in my regimen. I always used a cica balm in the winter but I wanted something lighter for the summer hence deciding to try out this serum. Thus far its preforming pretty nicely. I don't think it has as strong an effect on suppressing my acne however as the balms did. Madeocassoside, asiaticoside, & centella asiatica extract are the 13-15th ingredients respectively This formulation also seems to be very focused on highly moisturizing agents like aloe leaf extract, glycerin, & panthenol. Its only been about 2 weeks & my skin is still adjusting so for now I can only say I'm pleased with the moisture but not so sure about the cica strength vs balms I've used in the past. . . .
