⭐️Big thank you to my step-mom Nicki for testing out this @desserttableofficial toner!!⭐️ Waking up on a sleepy weekend morning, a perfect time to try my new Dessert Table Very Moist Berry Recipe Skin product. With Ted as my assistant, of course. I showered, did my face wash ritual, and removed any remaining makeup residue. The packaging is very cute with a pink interior of the box, and the bottle looking like an old fashioned milk bottle. You must poke through the opening. It has a very nice subtle and fresh scent. It shakes out a few drops at a time and the consistency is a slightly thick, clear liquid. So far … so good. It applies easily. But wait - it has a dry and tacky feel to it. That is not good Let’s see how it feels after a few minutes shall we? That is a feeling I don’t enjoy. Ted will keep me company while I give it some time to absorb in. I must be honest here, since I have mature skin that constantly screams for more moisture and rejuvenation, this product does not seem to lend itself to that task. I will put on my regular moisturizers and make up and see how my skin feels when I am done. Unfortunately, even with my usually products applied afterwards, there is still a dry, tacky feel to my face, as opposed to the usually smooth and silky feeling I have. This product looks and smells nice and may be good for some skin types. But Ted and I will have to sign off on it. It was not for us. After washing my face on a cotton pad I went over my face removing extra makeup or anything left over on my face then I add some drops to my hand and pat it into my skin. The toner absorb very fast and don't leave no sticky feeling. Also i got a nice boost of hydration to my skin and my skin right now is pretty dry. overall very simple product but works great 5/5

This is the Very Moist Berry Recipe Toner. This toner claims to resurface, soothe, and brighten. There are five different berry extracts that help to hydrate the skin. Honestly I feel like this product really delivers on its claims. I was a little skeptical because the packing is so cute. However this is a very hydrating toner. It borders on a gel consistency, and smells faintly of berries. I noticed that it did help to soften and soothe my skin. I’m Berry impressed. My only complaint is that it has a slightly tacky finish. This is not an issue if you always follow up with a toner. Another issue I have is with the amount of product for the price. It is $23 for 120 ml, a little does not go a long way when using a cotton pad.

Really nice product! Smells amazing and it is awesome for helping to refresh the skin. It is super light on the skin and would be great for those with sensitive skin! I also LOVE the packaging as well, so minimalistic and cute!

{Review} Dessert Table Very Moist, Berry Recipe Skin . . 🍓I was interested in trying this toner because I have a dehydrated skin type and am obsessed with toners, and this one claims to refine skin texture and give you that plump, healthy glow. All with tasty ingredients like cranberry, blackberry, raspberry and blueberry extracts, niacinamide, glycerin, allantoin, adenosine and arginine. It does contain alcohol ( third listed ingredient) though it doesn't specify what type, and it contains fragrance ( around the middle of the ingredient list). . . 🍓My very first impression of this was not favorable. The scent is very strong, and in my opinion quite artificial. A very perfumey, floral-soapy scent. I am not into that. I like light fragrance if any, and I prefer a natural scent. I was expecting a fresh berry smell and that's not what I got. It was a huge turn off initially. . . 🍓The toner is a lightly viscous, clear liquid that absorbs well and does not leave a sticky residue. It did not irritate my rosacea in anyway, so that's obviously a plus! I did find it very hydrating, and the hydration lasted all day. I don't feel like it truly did anything for my texture or even my glow really, other than ensuring my skin remained plump. . . 🍓Overall, it's a good toner if you aren't sensitive to fragrance or alcohol and you just need something for hydration purposes. Dessert Table Very Moist Berry Recipe Toner claims the natural extracts from 5 precious berries soothes and brings a translucent glow to your skin, it refines your skin texture and optimizes the skin to absorb the products for the following routine, and it states your skin will change continually from looking dull and fatigued to a translucent and luminous complexion.   I think the packaging for this toner is adorable.  It comes in a nice dark box and the toner is in a white plastic bottle that looks like a jar of milk left on your porch from the milkman.  The bottle has a cap on top that you take off and then there is a small plastic piece that must be removed in order to get the toner out. I actually struggled for a minute trying to figure it out, but luckily my husband came to my rescue and showed me (pull the plug in the center out).  The information on the box and the bottle is written in Korean. However, there was also a small pamphlet provided with this, that has information on products produced by Dessert Table, which includes a brief summary of the product, a picture, and the price all written in English.   The toner is clear and has a consistency a little thicker than water.  It has a slight floral scent that is pleasant, however, I could smell the alcohol in it, but it was not overpowering. I applied the toner all over my face and then lightly patted it into my skin.  My skin absorbed it quickly, but it did feel just a little tacky afterwards. This toner provides the hydration my skin needs without it getting oily.  I give this product 2 thumbs up and I will continue using it. Once again, I really love the simplicity and nostalgic looking packaging - there's something just fun about a glass milk bottle inspired packaging. 🐄 . So, not going to lie, alcohol does show up in the ingredient list. It's actually the third ingredient in. I'll note that typically I avoid alcohol not because of my skin, but because a strong alcohol scent can trigger headaches or even migraines for me. That said, yes, you will absolutely get that alcohol scent coming in first and strong before you pick up DESSERT TABLE's signature scent. 😷 . Scent issues aside, I do actually like this watery toner. It's super lightweight and absorbs pretty quickly, with just a barely there tackiness left behind. That's nothing following up with my serums doesn't fix, though. Hydrating and not at all drying, this left my skin feeling pretty happy and ready for all my following steps. . Personally, I'll use this sparingly and not as a layering toner. It'll be for quick, simple routines so as to avoid the very forward alcohol scent from triggering a headache. I have been wanting to try this #DesertTable_offical brand. The #VeryMoistBerryRecipeToner is the first product that I'm trying. This is a clear liquid and watery. It smells like berries, not a strong smell. When applying it has a tacky feeling as your patting it in. It does completely absorb a couple minutes later. After drying, it gives your skin a slight glow. It's a matte finish that is good for my oily skin. My skin was hydrated and smooth. On to the claims of this product: 🍓creates a smooth surface base for make-up 🍓contains 5 berry extracts to immediately rehydrate 🍓contains niacinamide & adenosine 🍓dermatologist tested The first thing that I noticed is an overwhelming alcohol scent, followed by a faint berry smell. I couldn’t seem to find the ingredient list to see where up high the alcohol was listed. I’m very ingredient conscious so, since it contains alcohol I’ve stopped using this toner. When I did use the toner to test out, I did find that my skin seemed dry. I wouldn’t recommend this toner.

In regards to the claims I felt a cooling sensation upon application which help to relax my skin. In addition to that it helped to even my skin tone a tad. The toner is light weight enough that I found it easy to layer and even though there is fragrance it didn’t irritate my skin. However I got a couple pimples from testing this product. Overall, I enjoyed this for the refreshing feeling it gave. I will continue to use it most likely in the morning but I don’t think I will repurchase it mainly because of the acne issues.
