Rest-Up Balancing Toner

The Rest-Up Balancing Toner works really well. It doesn't sting your face and it absorbs in your skin quickly. This toner is suppose to balance your PH levels of your skin. It is cruelty-free and doesn't have a substance in it that can irritate your skin or harm it. I just put some on a cottonball and put it on my face. No smell to it and no stinging. Plus it hydrates your skin and makes it feel smooth. This is a toner that I can use all the time.

This is a watery toner and you all know (or I think you do) I love my watery toners. It's completely fragrance free too, so I questioned whether this was just a bottle of water in disguise for a momebt. But the ever so slight slick feel and the slight stickiness that disappeared super quick proved that it wasn't just water. I like that it has Centella ad one of the star ingredients as my face loves it. I haven't used it long enough to be certain, but it /seems/ like my face is a tad calmer because of it. Placebo effect? Not sure. But it is somewhat hydrating, and seems to be a candidate for the 7 skin method. All in all, so far I'm enjoying it, but the few days I've had it isn't enough to see anything just yet. Though I am interested enough to keep using it!

I’m all for pretty packaging and Intermission seems to be too! I mean, just look at that bottle! From the font to the colors to the luxuriously heavy glass, it’s all beautiful! As you know, toners are my thing. It's the only product I faithfully use twice a day, every day. I know that some people don't think they're necessary, but IMO a good toner is just as important as a cleanser. The problem is that most toners you'll find at the store are only designed for one skin type and contain alcohol or other heavy astringents. Alternatives like witch hazel make oily skin break out. @intermission.globals solution is this Balancing Toner from their Rest Up Line. I got to review 2 of the 3 products at a trial fee via 08liter.com. I didn't expect much from this toner but it has surprised me. The other toners in my collection focus on gently stripping oil and sebum. This one tones by focusing on balancing pH levels instead so there is absolutely no alcohol or drying ingredients and no fragrance! It's very safe for sensitive skin. I do the "7 skin method" 4x a week. I've been using this one and my skin is so soft and glossy when I'm done. Since I received mine in exchange for my review, here are the details: Centella Asiatica (Indian Pennywort): anti-inflammatory calms skin and increases collagen production. Niacinamide: B3 for anti-aging and pore tightening Himanthalia Elongata (Brown algae): vitamins A, C & E to balance moisture levels in combo skin. Pancratium Maritimum (Sea daffodil): hydration and even out skin tone Hydration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -I love the way this soothes with moisture. It isn't like a miracle product or even a holy grail for me, but everything about it, I like a lot. The packaging is top notch ~ this toner comes in a heavy squat glass bottle with a pink and blue label. Its simplicity makes it really attractive to me! This toner is made with 70% centella water, which means it is a soothing and healing care toner, which comes in handy in the warmer months ~ my skin, no matter how much sunscreen I put on it, will get a bit burned, so a soothing toner is a must! This also uses sea daffodil and marine bamboo (sourced from the coast of Brittany in France) ~ these ingredients also calm and soothe skin while providing hydration, along with hyaluornic acid. It also contains brightening niacinamide as well. The ingredients list is pretty short ~ 14 in total ~ with no harmful substances and is safe for sensitive skin. . . This is a very watery toner, making it perfect for layering on your skin and it has no scent to it that I can tell. It has a pH level of around 5, making this a nice balancing skin toner as well. It didn't a tacky residue or film on my skin and it was nice and refreshing. There really isn't anything more to say about this toner ~ its cool looking, refreshing on the skin and is watery. I’ve only had it for a short time, but it has helped my skin remain calm, even through hormonal changes when it never stays calm. It has also been really hydrating as the weather in Ohio has finally been warm. I was surprised when this toner arrived that it was packaged in a nice glass bottle. The Intermission global toner is intended to balance, brighten and hydrate skin. It contains centella extract and has no scent to it. I have only used this toner for a few days, as I am away on vacation and it arrived only a day or two before I left. What I did notice thus far is that my skin feels softer and smoother. I will continue to use this when I get back to the states, but overall so far so good. My one recommendation is to not put this on a cotton pad, but rather pour some into your palm. The cotton soaks up too much product. Thank you to 0.8L for giving me the opportunity to try this product at a reduced rate.

Intermission Rest-up Balancing Toner has over 70 percent of Centella Asiatica that soothes sensitive and irritated skin. The Centella Asiatica delivers soft and smooth complexion. It helps maintain the ideal pH balance for the skin to be healthy. The toner is safe for sensitive skin. There aren't any of the six harmful substances in this toner. There isn't any parabens, artificial flavors, artificial colors, mineral oil, triethanolamine, and benzophenone-5. The effects of the toner are that it will brighten the complexion, moisturize, smooth, balance and relaxation. Intermission rest-up balancing toner has no scent and is a liquid toner. I find that it absorbs quite fast and there is moisture but you don't really feel extra moisture on the skin. I did notice a brighter complexion while using it and the toner did take away dry flaky skin and reveal a smoother complexion. I give this toner an 8/10. I think this is safe for everyone to use but might not be for someone who has severely dry skin to use this since there isn't extra moisture unless you have a good moisturizer after using this.

I can't detect any scent/fragrance, and it has a very lightweight, watery texture. I think it's perfect with a cotton pad and swiping across my face, although I enjoyed using it to tap directly into my skin as well. It left my skin feeling calm, smooth, and moisturized, but maybe with a slight satin-y, filmy residue. It didn't negatively affect the rest of skincare steps, so that really didn't bother me at all. I wish I was able to see a more long-lasting difference in my skin-- it felt nice on my skin and it definitely calmed my skin at the time of application, but throughout the day, I couldn't tell if my face was more balanced (less oil and more moisture) than usual. I love this toner it’s so amazing. It’s very refreshing and super moisturizing. I love how when you put some on a cotton ball it both cleans your pores and moisturizes the face. This toner make look watery but it’s NOT. The toner is actually on the thicker side and I love how gentle it is. It has not yet caused me any breakouts on my face that can sometimes happen with different products. I just love it and I highly recommend it. Another thing I REALLY LIKE is TIGER GRASS aka Centella Asiatica. This toner is LOADED WITH ITS GOODNESS.

Rest-Up Balancing Toner: This toner is said to provide self relaxation, brightening, moisturizing, smoothing, and balancing of skin. I used this at night after cleansing to get any leftover dirt and debris from my skin and in the morning to refresh my skin because I do not cleanse in the morning since I have very dry skin. It was very satisfying to see how much left over gunk from my face that this toner was able to get rid of. That over 70% of the ingredient list is centella was a massive draw for me in grabbing this up, my skin loves that extract and it tends to do me very well. Now this toner has been relegated to evening use and with a very light hand - I do notice that although it absorbs nicely it does leave behind a very slight residue. That's honestly my only real issue, but it's not a deal breaker at all. . I only use one light layer of this every other night, since I am a bit obsessed with toners and switch out my collection here and there.
