💦Lapothicell Seoul Toning Essence Facial Hydrating Booster.💦 Sensitive line. Claims to balance the skin, moisturize and soothe, increase moisture retention in skin and control the sebum in the same time. Milky consistency, looks like rice water to me, has slight scent to it, natural citrus/herbal one. Application is pleasant, essence absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it dewy and bright. I did not experienced any tackiness after using that essence, I feel that its moisturizing effect can last not so long unless it is followed with more moisturizing routine, on the other hand my skin looks a lot brighter and skin texture is significantly improved (pores reduced visibly). Overall I think that Essence is actually very good match to my skin needs at the time. It did not cause any irritation, added moisture, soothe and brightened my always dehydrated skin and it is gently enough for my delicate, rebalancing skin barrier routine. Product has many uses too. I use it as a first step essence, but you can use it as mist, mask (by soaking and applying cotton pad on trouble spot) or in place of water in powder masks. I would recommend it for combination skin with imbalance oiliness or for dehydrated skin with more advanced hydrating routine. I like it and will use it. If you've followed me for a while you know I am obsessed with toners. I could go without everything but a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. At the end of a long day my skin craves a toner (or 3.) It's true! I'm a big fan of this one from Lapothicell because it combines a toner with an essence to balance pH, calm sensitive skin and moisturize in one step. Using it in the morning leaves you with a smooth, bright surface for your primer or foundation. It has a milky consistency that is so satisfying and gentle. When I use it in 2 layers I get the best results. I wipe gently with a cotton pad first and follow with a dabbing technique. The result is a plump, bright boost of hydration. My only word of caution is that this might be too much for those with a particularity oily skin type. However, I think this is my new go to toner anytime I have dry flaky skin. The Toning Essence Facial Hydrating Booster from Lapothicell is an OK toner. The use of a toner it's a must in my skin care routine, I love the feeling of a smooth, fresh, and clean face. This toning essence works fine, it claims to be good for sensitive skin, help sebum control, moisture and hydration. The toner has helped to clean and prepare my face for the following steps of my skin care. I like that it didn't overdried my skin and it has a faint scent. It is of a liquid consistency with a milky color. The toner it is great for combo and sensitive skin, but highly recommend this product for those with sensitive skin.

Love this toner! This was definitely more hydrating than my previous toner, and I love that it balances your skin and is hypoallergenic! It's main ingredients are Aqauxyl (moisturizer), Portulaca oleracae extract (natural source of vitamins A, C and E, omega-3 fatty acids, flavonoids, and the co-enzyme Q10, and is an excellent antioxidant), Epilobium fleischeri extract ( rich in flavonoids and has strong anti-inflammatory properties; also very high in the tannin oenethin B, which is useful in regulating sebum production in human skin, which is necessary for oily and sensitive skin types), and Madecassoside (controls inflammation, stimulates collagen synthesis, reduces the activity of enzymes that contribute to the breakdown of the skin’s matrix or framework. Used for healing and anti-aging!). I noticed that my skin seemed healthier after consistently using this product, and that, although I broke out a little bit the first week, my skin has cleared up more since then.

This product boasts that it is for sensitive skin. 💦 Initial Thoughts- I was very excited to try this product as my skin is hypersensitive and dry right now due to the use of Tretinoin. 💦Texture & Scent- This toner is a milky toner with a somewhat unpleasant plasticky smell. Sometimes I think it smell like plastic and sometimes I think it smells citrusy (strange I know). Although I do not love the fragrance, it dissipates upon the product drying on your skin. This toner appears slightly white on the skin but when it dries the white cast disappears. This toner sinks into dry skin almost immediately. 💦Final Thoughts-I really love this toner and would definitely purchase this at full price. It is very hydrating and is healing for over processed skin with compromised moisture barrier. I give this toner a 4.0/5.0. After using milk toner, you can experience the best make-up.” I’ve been using this product for 2 weeks as a facial toner directly after cleansing. It has a milky white color and water-like consistency, they recommend using a cotton pad to apply it, but I’ve just been pouring a small amount into my hand and applying directly onto my face (less waste in my opinion, but every person has their preferences). I only need a small amount to cover my face which is great and the bottle holds 200 ml of product so this will last awhile. I just looked and don’t see a shelf life recommendation on the bottle or the box so I’m assuming 12 months like most toners, but don’t hold me to that. Since the bottle is an opaque white (most likely to preserve and protect the product from sunlight), I can’t tell how much I have used which I like knowing so when I get low I know ahead of time. It absorbs relatively well, but takes a bit of time before I can layer another product on top of it, which isn't great since I get distracted easily and 15 minutes will pass before I even remember that I need to my water based serums. I’m always looking for sebum and pore care products, but I’ve actually seen an increase in my oil production and have had a few small spots of acne since using this product. I haven’t noticed a reduction in the size of my pores nor lightening/clearing of dark spots and blemishes (more an increase as stated before). So for me this product only offers hydration so I’ll be setting it aside and not continuing use. Do I recommend it? For the price and from my experience? No. It doesn’t offer anything special compared to other hydrating toners and ended up causing breakouts not diminishing them which the produced more dark spots and blemishes. I purchased the @lapothicell_official toning essence facial hydrating booster at a discounted price from @0.8L in exchange for my honest review. On to the claims of this product: 🔹sebum control & helps prevent excesses sebum production 🔹soothes and brightens skin 🔹prevents dead skin cells 🔹long lasting hydration 🔹for all skin types including sensitive The toner essence has a thin watery milky white consistency. I used this 2 ways, the first was after cleansing. It didn’t feel very hydrating, my skin was feeling a little tight. The second way I used this was as an essence. After cleansing and toning I applied the toner essence, it layered very well this way and my skin felt hydrated. It did help with sebum production and it gave me a nice subtle glow. I like to apply the toner with my hands instead of cotton pads and you can also put this in a spray bottle for a spritz of hydration during the day. Since this has a thin consistency, which absorbs quickly into the skin it’s great for the 7-skin method. I recommend this for oily and oily/combination skin. I wouldn’t recommend this for dry skin as it wouldn’t offer that much hydration.

Personally I love k beauty 9 steps, 11 steps whatever, as many steps as possible is what's on my list. I love putting toners, essences, serums, oils and lotions on my face and declate. When I saw this was being described as a #FacialHydratingBooster I knew I was going to love this product. Upon receiving it however, it was even better then I had anticipated. You are technically supposed to apply it with a cotton ball, tissue but I feel like that waisted a lot of product so I just poor some into the palm of my hand and quickly rub my hands together and then gently pat the toning essence all over my face. It is a pure liquid not serum like at all, but it is milky in consistency. I put this on, after my first toner application I usually do 5-7 applications of toner throughout my skincare regimen. I prefer my toner in a spray bottle and like to mist my face while applying other products such as serums and litions as an absorption assistant. Lapothicell Toning Essence works great to help in assisting your other products to oborb into your skin better. This product does have a light fragrance that I picked up lemon and fresh notes. The ingredients are written in a foreign language. I found the fragrance to be extremely light and not bothersome at all to me in fact I really like the scent of this product. I would recommend this to anyone, even those with sensitive skin. This product was a pleasant surprise for me! I liked to use this essence as the next step after toner. The consistency of this product was very watery, but it absorbed nicely into my skin. I liked to tap the essence into my face to help my skin absorb all the nutrients better. I also liked the light and clean scent that the essence had, and my face wasn’t irritated from the product. I liked how the product gave my skin an extra barrier of moisture and helped the rest of my face products absorb into my skin nicely as well. Overall, this was a good product to try! I would definitely recommend it.

So how does this stack up? # This toner claims to regulate sebum, reduce pore appearance & fight dullness. I thought it may be helpful for the upcoming summer months! I’ve had a hard time finding an ingredient list in English but it includes botanical extracts & madecassoside. # The formula is very thin & milky - a water like consistency. I tried using it with a cotton pad, which I believe is recommended, as well as just patting it in. The cotton pad is much preferable since it’s really thin. I use it after cleansing in lieu of a clarifying toner. # I’ve used this in both my AM & PM #skincare routines, and found that it absorbed easily & didn’t irritate my skin at all. I rotate it with the Mizon AHA BHA toner, since that one is too harsh to use everyday for me. # The thin consistency absorbs easily with no film or other issues. The scent is very light and pleasant.
