The toning essence has a light scent and a milky white color. I applied it with a cotton round and used it both day and night. I really liked the toning aspect of it and how it was noticeably more moisturizing than a regular toner would be. I did still use a moisturizer with it as well though because it was not enough hydration by itself. I washed my face first then using the toning essence and added moisturizer after.It really provides a nice refreshing feeling and love how my face looked after using it. It is a great addition to my skin care routine. It works great for sensitive skin and I can confirm it is very gentle.

So my skin type is acne prone/ combo. Since summer has started ive noticed my skin has actually been wanting for moisture but nothing heavy and this product has helped me do just that. I love the slightly fruity scent, fast absorption and the way my skin feels like its ready for my other layers of skin care, also its not sticky or tight feeling. I've used it on a cotton pad and just patted into the skin and both methods are fine but I personally enjoy just applying it by hand. So far my favorite toner and will gladly buy again when I run out.

Thanks to 0.8L, I was able to try this Toningb Essence from Lapothicell! I was eager to add an essence to my skin care routine as it is the key to Korean beauty. However, I must say that while the product seems like great quality, I personally didn’t enjoy using it. As you can see on the last photo, the consistency is very watery and when I try to apply it, it drips away faster than I can get the product to my face. If the consistency was a little thicker it would be much easier to apply to the skin. For this reason, I’m not a fan of the product. This is my honest opinion. Further, I did not see any major changes to the hydration if my skin from this product.

Over the small trial period, I did notice a decrease in oiliness of my T-Zone (took longer for sebum to become more than a glow). Never irritated my combo/sensitive skin. Does sting the eyes a little if it gets in them but sting doesn't last or make the eyes red. ✒️ Final Thoughts: Yes, recommend! Good for sensitive skin, imparting softness, and a boost in hydration.

It has a matte finish but doesn’t feel drying. This toner also claims to improve makeup application so it is great for the morning routine if you wear makeup! I haven’t seen a noticeable effect on my acne scars, but with extended use I hope to see a difference in my hyperpigmentation. I really like this toner. It made my face feel amazing. The bonus is that it smells lovely and is so mild even the most sensitive skin could use it without a reaction. This is the Lapothicell Toning Essence Facial Hydrating Booster. This claims to brighten, soothe and moisturize. They claim that it’s good for sensitive skin and prevents excess sebum. I have to say Lapothicell rarely disappoints me. This product is no different. It feels really nice on the skin. It hydrates the skin and leaves my skin glowing. I didn’t see any difference with brightening or sebum production. I appreciate that the smell is very subtle and it absorbs very quickly. The consistency is very watery and milky. This felt so soothing on my skin after I had sunburn. I would use this product after a clarifying toner or mask. I think many different skin types would work since this is so gentle. Overall very happy with the product! I would repurchase. You get 200ml for about $24 which is very reasonable. I’m so glad that I was able to try this with the help of 0.8L.

This Lapothicell Toning Essence Facial Hydrating Booster or Skin Toner is also called a milk toner. It claims to brighten skin but I didn’t experience that at all. It did give my skin moisture it needed while toning and tightening my pores. It had a very light scent and an even lighter feel on the skin. When first coming out of the bottle it looks similar to a grey milk but turns clear immediately. I used it immediately after cleansing. It didn’t irritate my skin and besides brightening, does what it claims. I would recommend this for any skin type and sensitive skin.

First thing that stands out about the Lapothcell Toning Essence Hydrating Booster, also called milk toner, I'm assuming from it's milk like appearance and texture, is the scent. It smells as if I'm applying a fresh squeezed lemon all over my face, without the irritation.It applies easier sprayed on the face with a spray bottle. I simply relocated it into a spray bottle. It can also be applied by squeezing a small amount directly into your hand and then patted gently into the skin. As soon as the product makes contact with my skin my face goes from a dry, tight, uncomfortable feel to instant comfort with hydration. I highly recommend this toning essence. I received this product at a discount through 0.8L for my opinion.

I love this toner. Let's start by talking about its packaging. It's simple, durable, and has the perfect size opening for dispensing enough product for application.
