First off the whole coffee beans themselves are fresh, roasted to perfection & smell absolutely divine, and when ground that smell just absolutely blooms into mouth drooling awesomeness. When brewed the coffee by itself does have a touch of bitterness, but not so much that it was undrinkable, and since I use creamer it didn't matter anyway because all I tasted was a smooth, full flavored cup of coffee that totally pleased this coffee lovers pallette! Although not as strong as American Coffee, I really really loved this Fresh Roasted Specialty Coffee Beans, and that's why I'm giving it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ based on 0.8L criteria for Taste, Freshness & Quality. We got Retro flavor and its a mellow smelling coffee so not too strong but like a breakfast blend type. Best thing about it is that there is no bitterness at all and it has a mild flavor which makes it easy for those who don't like anything strong tasting in the morning. I want to try out their other flavors.

Freshly Roasted Specialty Coffee Bean Blossom Blend, Whole bean, Medium Roast 7Ounce has nice fresh coffee aroma. It has very light scent and not much as strong as the other coffee brands that I have tried. This is the coffee for who wants to start drinking coffee. It’s light bitter and slightly tart. However, this is not favorite coffee to drink daily. I’m more kinda bold and strong Coffee person. Coffee is packed in well made packaging but it’s not sealable. I don’t like the fact that it has really minimal English translations on the packaging. I cant read Korean to check on the ingredients and other concerned product’s information.

I got the Retro bag which is claimed to be less sour and bitter taste. The packaging doesn’t provide product information in English (in the back of the package). There are very few English words in the front of the package. The bag contains blended Brazil and India whole coffee bean and used smart roasting to retain natural taste and scent without burning the coffee bean. It’s an ok coffee bean in terms of taste and aroma. Rating: 3.5/5

UPDATE: My mom tried & this is what SHE had to say “It wasn’t God awful, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had either, so I definitely wouldn’t buy it.” I was pretty excited about this product arriving. It finally arrived, however I do not particularly care for it. I am going to let my mom (a more coffee addicted person than I am) try it, to see if her thoughts are better than mine. I’m not saying it’s the worst coffee I’ve drank, however, it isn’t the 100% best either. The aroma was ok. In my opinion, it’s not something that I’d “write home about” so to speak.

This is a beautifully smooth coffee. After I received the bag full of whole beans I grinded them and put them in a drip coffee maker. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect. This was my first experience with this brand of coffee. I was pleasantly surprised. It has an almost sweetness to it even without adding sugar. It seemed almost less acidic than normal store bought coffee. After the first cup I have been drinking nothing else. If your coffee crazy like me I suggest giving this a try!!!

this is a very good coffee. I was really surprised with the taste! I'm a coffee drinker for sure and I've tried many brands and flavors of coffee but this one I'd have to say is one of my top favorites now. it smells great! as soon as you open the bag, the beans scent the air with a hearty coffee aroma and when it's brewing the smell gets even better. It has a great kick of caffeine for waking up in the morning! I loved it. the only thing I didn't like was the bag wasn't nearly big enough. lol

Oddly enough, I received one of my bags of Brownbag Coffee today from Amazon. I found this odd as for well over a month I was told it was stuck in Customs... Anyway, on with the review. The bag I received today was their TERRA Freshly Roasted Specialty Beans. It claims to be a rich and flavorful coffee without the bitterness. The taste was not as strong or rich as I expected from a Medium Dark Roast and I had high expectations as while grinding the beans, the aroma permeated through half of the house. It was good but very oily. I could see the oil floating on top of the coffee in the mug. I honestly found it to be no different than any run of the mill Maxwell House or Folgers coffee, just more work as I had to grind the beans myself. I have a second bag of a different roast ordered and will see if that's any better. Not bad, although the look of floating oil was unappealing but most definitely not at all what I consider to be a Specialty Blend Roast.

My new Brownbag Roasted Specialty Coffee has arrived and they were nice enough to include a second bag for the long wait time..very nice of them! The Bloom is a medium roast, fragrant blend. It is full flavored without the oiliness and bitterness of the other bag I received from this brand. This one I would definitely recommend as it is rich, dark and delicious without all the drawbacks of oily and bitter.
