I had never tried a coffee since it's bean form before and I was excited to try it. I didn't know what to expect, if it was going to be strong or be weak, have less taste & lose some of it's flavor once we milled it at home, but no I was excitedly wrong. Brownbag coffee was full of body and taste. Actually my flavor "On The Star" was a bold taste that at first my family and I didn't know how to measure the coffee, it has so much great flavor that we had to make sure we used the exact amount & didn't go over becuase if not it was going to be too strong. The aroma is unmistakably delicious especially when you are milling it from the bean form straight from bag to the grounded form to use in the coffee machine & also while brewing. Delicious; and the overall taste while you are drinking it is so nice and pleasantly wonderful.

I recieved the BrownBag Coffee "On The Star" to give my honest opinion and I must say I'm very impressed. I ground up the coffee beans and the aroma was so pleasant, I made a lot of coffee and it was delicious, the flavor was strong and it didn't leave an unpleasant after taste in my mouth. BROWN BAG COFFEE, On the Star is a strong dark roast that will wake you up for early morning before work. I wake up an extra half hour so I can enjoy this quality coffee bean roast. It's delicious aroma will fill the house with splendor. I'm an avid coffee drinker always have been and this roast is among my favorites. Thank You BROWN BAG for living up to my expectations.

Brown Bag Coffee . . . 0.8L had some Korean coffee available for a discounted price! I couldn’t resist the chance to try some Korean coffee 😆. ▫️The box and bag packaging looks great. ▫️There was a delay in shipping due to customs but Brown Bag Coffee was nice enough to include a letter and additional coffee to sample 👌👌👌. I was very impressed. ▫️The coffee comes in bean form. ▫️I had picked the Terra flavor which was described as: rich, heavy coffee bean flavor. It has a standard coffee smell. The coffee itself has rich flavor and is on the less acidic side. For people who don’t like the sourness or bitterness of coffee, I would recommend this blend! I would definitely buy this blend again 👍.

I love this coffee and so does my family. My uncle actually said he prefers this coffee then what we get now. So, I will say you got another customer. I look forward to buying this coffee in the future.

This is my first experience with whole bean coffee. The aroma was really enticing. I ground the coffee and true to description there was a nutty smell to it. Once it was brewed and I prepared my coffee the usual way. The flavor was good. It wasn't bitter. This specific blend (Retro) is marked by less bitterness. I don't care for very bitter coffee flavor so I was very happy. The package instructions are in a foriegn language as it comes from Korea. It retails for 19.99. This price seems high to me but considering I used a small amount for one cup it is still less expensive than a coffeeshop. Brownbag has several flavors to choose from including a floral blend called blossom and a full bodied dark called Terra. Overal I'm a coffee lover and getting this from 0.8L free to review was great.

This Brownbag coffee is delicious. It’s a specialty blend. The bag comes with coffee beans. I used a grinder to make coffee grinds. I then put it in my coffee maker. The smell of the coffee was strong. It’s the perfect blend; not too light and not too dark. I would drink this coffee everyday!

They also gave me a free sample bag of coffee in the flavor of Grand David, I liked this coffee as well. It tasted to me as a stronger coffee, yet I still enjoyed. I dont have a coffee grounder,so I put some coffee beans in a reg. size ziplock bag covered w/a big freezer size ziplock bag, again, wrapped w/tin foil. I took my large rolling pin n crushed it the best I could. Took me bout a half hr to get it ground real good to brew. Finally found someone w/a coffee grounder(thank goodness),cause lord have mercy. And the smell of the coffee when u opened the bag was just heavenly. Cant say enough of the smell. Smelled just as good if not better brewing. Loving this coffee brand. Afternoon roses - a darkish roast from Brown Bag Coffee, South Korea, a balanced blend of Ethopian, Brazilian & Indian beans (rather obscure, since specific regions are not mentioned, but at least disclosing the origin is nice). Process is not indicated, though it's most likely fully washed. Remarkably, we both (me & my husband) get the hint of opulent red rose oiliness in the opening. Low acidity, dry fruit & cocoa nibs profile - I really think lighter roast could preserve more nuances. Also, the beans are roasted 5/24, and I received the package by mail about a week ago - not necessarily fresh by world specialty coffee standards, however, if the freshly roasted beans are vacuum-packed, the quality is still acceptable. Aeropress Ratio: 25 grams coffee to 375 grams water. Water temperature: 85C Hario has also been used, but the taste is better from aeropress, in our opinion. I was so happy to be able to receive Brownbag Coffee, Blossom flavor from 08L, at a discounted price in return for my honest review. Description of flavor on bag: ☕ #sourness, #snappy, #blended, #Ethiopia_Brazil_India ☕ Blossom has a fresh first taste like blooming. flower. Description of product: Based on their Data analytics in roasting coffee, Brownbag coffee creates varieties of blending combinations to create uniqueness. Consistency is their core capacity and SmartRoasting gives more values to serve Brownbag customers having more stable and consistent experiences. My Experience: The bag is beautifully designed and has pink flowers on the front. A close up of the coffee bag can be seen in my last picture. The bag was sealed great and when I opened it up, I was very pleased to smell the aroma of the top fresh wonderful coffee bean scent, and see the dark brown whole coffee beans. My 2nd picture shows the whole coffee beans and what it looks like after I used my coffee grinder. I have to admit that I haven't used my drip coffee maker in over a year. I was very sad that I was unable to brew my 1st cup, because of special cleaning needed before use. I have a Keurig coffee machine and I took the top off of a k-cup and cleaned it out and put in the ground up coffee beans. I was able to put the top foil with tape and finally brewed my first cup of this coffee. My kitchen quickly filled with the awesome scent of fresh brewing coffee that only ground up coffee beans has. This coffee was not bitter, it had a medium to dark smooth flavor with a hint of floral fragrance, and mild sweetness. I drank it without adding anything and I drank it with a specialty creamer which enhanced all flavors. I brewed this coffee stronger than needed so I could experience Blossom in the fullest way. I want to make an espresso with this coffee too. I would highly recommend this amazing whole bean coffee to others and I hope to be able to try more flavors. If you go to Brownbag online, you can sign up to receive samples, but I think I will wait to see if 08L will offer it again. I want to thank everyone at Brownbag and 08liters.com for giving me this wonderful opportunity to try such a great coffee. It reminded me how much I enjoy fresh ground coffee. The coffee world is full of surprises! This “Blossom” flavor coffee by BrownBag had me really skeptical. I was thrilled to find that the floral flavor is very very light and not as strong as I though it would be. The coffee comes in whole beans to insure the freshest flavor possible. Plus the packaging is super cute! If you’re interested in trying an unexpected blend that’s fresh from South Korea I’d highly suggest this brew!

@coffee_brownbag Blossom Coffee #review for the @0.8l_usa app. This coffee is an espresso flower-blend. The coffee beans come in a freshly packaged an airtight bag with the packaging date stamped on the front of the bag. The type of coffee is checked off in the front. I used the Google Translate app to help in translation and preparation of the product. Simply use the app in the camera mode and skim over the words to attain a translation. This will also assist in measuring the product properly to maximize your coffee drinking experience. Measuring this properly is key to a proper and thorough review.   I brewed this coffee in three different ways: I used my coffee brewer, French press, and my espresso machine. The result in an aromatic espresso infused with flowers. The taste was strong yet aromatic and soft because of the flower-blend.   If you prefer a rich and strong espresso, use an espresso machine, hand drip, or use a French press. If you prefer a lighter flavor, I recommend using a coffee brewer. My coffee grinder recommend settings are as follows: Coffee Brewer- Fine to Medium French Press- Coarse Espresso Machine- Fine This blend was a joy to sample. Review: Brownbag Coffee (Blossom flavor) • • ☕️Company’s claims: - The only professional electric roaster in Korea - Eco friendly and minimization of external environment impacts - Outstanding predict reliability with over 50,000 roasting experiences and data • ☕️Beans appearance: light brown color. Looks like a dry roast because it doesn’t have the oily sheen as the other flavor. • ☕️Thoughts: this bean flavor has very mild coffee taste (even with extra amount of grounds) without bitterness or sourness. Personally, I prefer the stronger and more fragrant taste of the ‘on the star’ flavor. It doesn’t mean that it’s bad. Just gear more toward coffee drinkers who prefer weaker coffee. . I used this to make bulletproof coffee and it definitely gave a huge boost to my morning. If you don’t know what bulletproof coffee is, it’s where I add coconut oil. And then used my ninja bullet to emulsify the mixture. when the opportunity to apply for this campaign pop up I was excited, finally something my bf and I can enjoy together. Right when i open the delivery bag I could smell the coffe through two bags, that's pretty awesome. well here come the sucky part. I am not a big coffee drinker any way I perfer frapaciuo drinker. so we woke up in the morning to try it out and guesss what....... go ahead I'll. wait lol l. I got to try Freshly Roasted Specialty coffee a full size product from #08 liter , I was so excited when I got in the mail and I grinded the beans down to put in my coffee pot to brew , added my creamer and sugar and stirred and I love the scent and the flavor is just perfect , I will be making this every morning and am planning on making ice coffee with this as well, this will be my to go to coffee for now on. I also love how it taste and the texture is so right on, thanks for letting me be able to test and review this amazing cofffee .

My Review....First things First...I could smell this coffee through the box before I even opened it...And it smelled AMAZING!!! So I already knew this product was off to a good start just by the divine smell...Every morning for 2 weeks I had this amazing brand of Brownbag Coffee Specialty Blend...The aroma floated throughout the entire house and started my day off right!! The Taste was nutty, fresh and had a slight sweetness before I even added my condiments to it...Even sip was delicious and I found myself thinking about that morning cup throughout my day!!! Having lived most of my life on the west coast and having a plethora of roasters and bean varieties at my disposal... coming to east coast was a shock as it seem like the average consumer has forced the market to supply some low caffeine... watered down swill (I'm looking at you dunkin and wawa) Just thinking about all that bad coffee just triggers me as I write this 😑. Lemme bring it together so I can talk a about this Korean brand @coffee_brownbag. It arrived at my house when it was a few weeks old, which is actually kind of a sweet spot for making an excellent shot of coffee. Or at least my analytical chemist fiance who is master of extraction dictates when the beans are ideal for using. . . . I grabbed the lightest roast I could find, the retro which was described as less sour, sweet, nutty, and blended from Brazilian and I guess Indian beans. Now if you like caffeinated coffee.. don't come at me with a dark roast saying its stronger; it's not. Darker roasts have a lower caffeine content and I need something strong to live. As for the pulling the shot it had a nice crema if you're into that, but I would agree that it wasnt sour and had a nice full nutty flavor. My very picky fiance even asked me to buy another bag since he liked it so much and that is saying something. I also found that it works well hot or cold altho soy milk seemed to bring more bitterness out. . . . I was given the opportunity to try this coffee out at a discounted price for my honest opinion of it by 0.8L. I was really looking forward to trying this coffee out, I drink coffee every morning to get moving but I need creamer to drink it because it tends to be on the bitter side for me. This coffee didn't have that bitter taste at all, it had a floral fragrance and just a little bit of sweetness to it even and I really enjoyed drinking it. Plus it didn't seem to upset my belly as much as the coffee I regularly drink does. I give Brown Bag Specialty Coffee a thumbs up for quality, aroma and flavor and I definitely will recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee!!
