Today I will be reviewing the Grand David flavor of Brown bag coffee that I received from @08liter for a trial price of 3.99 in exchange for my honest opinions. The Brownbag Coffee company uniquely uses an electric roasting process instead of the traditional gas roasting process. This process, used in premium whiskey companies, allows Brownbag coffee to produce a wide variety of rich flavors. Out of the several coffee flavors offered by Brownbag coffee I choose the Grand David flavor because it is supposed to be nutty, heavy, and full. This flavor intrigued my mom the most because she tends to like nutty and robust flavors for her coffee. My mom is a coffee aficionado and loves to grind her coffee beans every morning before work so when I saw that the campaign offered whole coffee beans I was ecstatic and ordered it for her. My mom made her coffee today using the same method that she uses for her normal coffee. Everyone in the house loved how delicious the coffee smelled when we opened the package. The packaging was fairly plain but kept the coffee smelling and tasting fresh. The coffee said it was packed in late June and it arrived quickly in early July despite a previous shipping delay. My mom made her coffee today using the same method that she uses for her normal coffee. My mom usually uses three scoops of beans to grind before using her drip coffee carafe. With this coffee she had to use 4 1/2 scoops to have it produce the same amount of coffee grounds she normally uses.My mom stated that this coffee is light and slightly nutty but not robust. Overall my mom found the coffee to smell delicious but did not find it to be strong enough.

I previously tested the Retro flavoured Brownbag Coffee, which is the lowest intensity coffee (I believe), and this Grand David version is not super intense as I was expecting it to be. It's supposed to have a heavier more nutty flavour but I don't taste it. It does have a stronger aroma when brewed and a deeper flavour but I can't taste the nutty-ness. I also tried the Blossom flavour which does have a floral note that I can only taste during my first few sips. In my opinion, overall the Brownbag brand coffee is a lighter brew, sweeter and less intense flavour than what I'm used to. Frankly, I'm used to brewing bitter coffee a filling it with cream and sugar. With Brownbag I don't need to add a lot to it and that's shaking up my coffee world. . This review is for the Brownbag Coffee Freshly Roasted Specialty coffee beans. I purchased the "Grand David" roast for a reduced price of $3.99 on the 0.8Liter app. I had also received a free sample size of the "Blossom" roast as well. *About Brownbag Coffee - Brownbag Coffee is the leading coffee start-up company in Korea, starting from the bean and innovating the huge coffee market. The company aims to solve the problems of the bean that does not miss anything like budget, preference and taste. Brownbag is solving coffee troubles of 20,000 domestic customers. Their mission - Solve the anxiety of where coffee is. Their Vision - To become one of the best trouble shooter of coffee by 2020. *My review - First of all I would like to say that I was very happy to see that the coffee came as whole beans. I much prefer whole bean coffee to ground coffee because it tastes better, stays fresher longer and I like that I can control how much to grind the beans. Grand David ( 200g - 70 Oz.) was definitely my favorite out of the two. It is a medium dark roast with a beautiful nutty aroma and full bodied tatse. It had a strong tatse and was very flavorful. (unfortunately I threw the bag out before I could take a picture of it) Blossom ( 70 g - 2.5 Oz.)was also a very good coffee. It is more of a medium roast I would say, and didn't have as much body to it as the Grand David. The flavor was a little unique and a little floral, but had a pretty good tatse overall. I really appreciate that the company sent a free sample along with a letter apologizing about the shipping delay. Little things like that say a lot about a company and just proves to me that they are very customer focused. I would definitely recommend both of these roasts and this company if you are looking to purchase whole bean coffee. You can purchase their coffee right off of Amazon for $19.99 for the 70 Oz. Grand David and $4.99 for the 2.5 Oz. Blossom, plus they have more flavors and sizes as well.

I purchased the @coffee_brownbag in the flavor “on the star” at a trial fee from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. On to the claims of this product: ☕️ medium-dark roast I purchased the on the star which is a medium-dark roast with a strong, bitter smoky taste. I’m more of a light-medium roast but this one isn’t too bitter for me, which I like. I can definitely taste the smokey flavor which seems to be present in darker roasts. I drink my coffee black, so if you add in sugar and creamer there shouldn’t be much of a bitter or smokey taste. Brownbag coffee also sent me a sample of blossom. The coffee bag comes with whole coffee beans so you would need to either grind them or take them to be grinded. These coffee beans can be purchased for $19.99 on Amazon.com

BrownBag Coffee Blossom has a nice fresh aroma of coffee beans. It smells rich, fresh, and delicious. I pick the Blossom one because I haven't tried a flavor of coffee that included flowers especially blossom This comes in a bag that is about 200 g. They are coffee beans and you will need to find a way to grind them up. I did it the hard way where I got a mortar and pestle to grind them up. I probably buy a grinder soon anyway. I did like the aroma of the blossom coffee which has a little bit of taste of flower but more with the taste of rich coffee. I can say the quality of this coffee is great and I would probably purchase more in the future. I give this a 10/10. ☕️👌Todays review is tasty. Coffee is still my fuel for a day. I usually drink 2-3 cups a day, throughout the day and it does not matter if the last one will be late:) My favorite way is to drink coffee that is light and nutty. Freshly brewed and hot with milk is my go to choice, but no sugar and sweetener. The brownbag Coffee contains a mix of different beans but it is roasted in professional electric roaster in Korea, so it can be mora available and ready at anytime. The one I ordered is Retro which states to be less sourness, sweet, nutty, blended and origins are Brazil and India. All of it is what I am usually looking when it comes to choosing coffee. I used coffee machine and regular method to brew this coffee and both results were good. ☕️Coffee is amazingly tasty, with light notes of nuts, very little of bitterness (only the one that should be there) and for that light roast it has good power to it. 👁 I determine if the coffee is the one that I might like by checking the beans. I like light brown beans with almost no oil on it, and this is exactly how they look. I am giving Brownbag very high notes for making that coffee so light, bright and tasty. Plus thank you for sending me additional package for try trying in Grand David flavor. 🙏🏻☕️ It is fuller coffee blend (Brazil/Guatemala/India/Ethiopia) and I can’t wait to try it. Brownbag Coffee Retro Blend Review The Retro blend coffee by brand Brownbag boasts flavors consisting of less sourness and bitterness. I picked this blend because as an avid coffee drinker I was interested in what less sour and bitterness might taste like in terms of a coffee roast. Brownbag creates their own unique coffee blends and prides itself on consistency and unique flavors that stray away from the typical coffee blends. The coffee came in whole beans but can be easily grounded using a blender or coffee grinder. I don’t recommend grinding all the beans at once as it’ll lose its freshness before brewing. Grinding once a week or before brew is highly recommended. Coffee beans should be stored in an air tight container to maintain freshness. This blend is perfect for the mornings as it has a bold Flavor that wakes up your taste buds. I wasn’t able to discern what less sour or less bitter meant as the coffee was quite light as compared to bigger brand roasts from Starbucks and others. I prefer whole beans because the coffee stays fresh longer. Multiple varieties were available. I chose Retro, which Brownbag describes as "less sourness and bitter taste." I sampled it with my mom while I was home for a visit. We both drink a LOT of coffee... like, multiple pots a day. She prefers a bold, strong coffee while I like a little bit of nut or floral flavor. We were both pleased with this variety but didn't feel it was particularly interesting. I've also purchased the Blossom variety and I'm curious how they compare. That review will probably be up next week. My sample was $3.99 but Brownbag Coffee is available on Amazon starting at $5. You won't be disappointed in this high-quality Korean coffee.

I liked the Brownbag coffee Retro #less_sourness #sweetness #nutty #blended #Brazil_India Speecialty Blend. It was less acidic to me and I didn’t get heartburn as bad as I usually do. You can smell the richness of the coffee through the bag before you open it up. Very soothing and when you grind the beans up the aroma intensifies. Brownbag coffee and 0.8 L provided this item at a sample price of $ 3.99 for the specific reason to try the products and leave honest reviews. I LOVE COFFEE!!! This Brownbag coffee was given to me free through @0.8l_usa for my honest review. 🍵 This is a whole bean coffee that retails for $19. There are 5 different blends of coffee. I choose the darkest blend the Terra (rich, heavy coffe bean). The other blends that brownbag coffee offers is RETRO (less sour & bitter), ON THE STAR (medium-dark), BLOSSOM (fresh like blooming water), GRAND DAVID (nutty w/ heavy bold taste). 🍵 Company description says they base roasting on DATA analytics. Creating a variety of blending to create their own uniqueness. 🍵 My usual choice blend is French Roast. I also drink it very strong. If the brew calls for a teaspoon of coffee, i use a heaping teaspoon. I use cream and vanilla flavor. 🍵 I felt for being a dark roast coffee, that this was a weak blend. It was not my favorite bag of coffee. I do appreciate that there is a packaged date on the bag. If im being completely honest, i ended up mixing the rest of this bag into 2 of my French Roast bags of coffee. 🍵 I am very thankful I was given the opportunity to try this and check it out for no cost. I would probably say yes I am addicted to coffee which I am okay with. Naturally once I saw coffee available for $3.99 trial fee on 08L I wanted to try it. I picked the Terra flavor since it seemed like it would be the strongest and richest flavor. I drink my coffee black and enjoy a deep rich taste.The bag arrived a couple days ago and I had to open it to smell it. I love the smell of coffee and wanted to see how this one hold up. It smells amazing and the bag is whole bean coffee so you need a grinder to grind the beans before use. The coffee was very good and I enjoyed the flavor. I expected a little more of a rich flavor since that was the specific one I ordered. It was a little light for a rich coffee but still delicious. The price is $19.99 for a bag. This is high to me for coffee. My usual go to coffee is much cheaper and I am not sure I would pay this high a price for the coffee It was very tasty but I do not feel it warrants a high price tag like that.I was also sent a sample of the Blossom flavor which was a very nice addition and will update on how that taste once I try that one out.

It includes a mix of Vietnam, Brazil and Columbia coffee beans. It has strong and bitter taste. I like it. The company also includes a note of apology for late delivery and a sample of Blossoms coffee bean bag. The sour taste in Blossoms bag is what I expect from drinking coffee. Review: Brown Bag Coffee (Flavor: On The Star) • • ☕️ I’m not a coffee connoisseur. I’m just a caffeine addict. So I can’t really distinguish the subtle notes like the professionals. However, I like this freshly roasted coffee beans. They smell really fresh when I first opened the bag. The beans have beautiful sheen of oil on them. The taste of the brewed product was smooth, strong and fragrant without an after taste of bitterness or sourness. . ☕️ Now, I didn’t have a grinder so I had to purchase mine on Amazon for $18. That could be a possible cons if you don’t want the extra appliance. For me, it’s a pro because I can control the coarseness of the coffee ground. Also, being able to grind up just before I usage made it super fresh. It made a perfect morning pick-me-up. Bonus point for manufacture including packed and expiration dates. . I highly recommend this coffee if you get the chance. The Freshly Roasted Specialty Coffee beans by Brownbag Coffee is a try for $3.99 which I have to give a honest review for. I like that they are fresh beans so you can grind so it's nice and fresh. I chose Retro which is less sourness and bitter taste. To me this takes like a premium restaurant coffee. It's good but not great. They did send a letter with apologies for the long shipping delay. Also included was a sample of Grand David which I need to try still.

This is a fantastic full bodied coffee. We typically drink cafe Du Monde mixes with Folgers to cut the bitterness. This is a Whole bean, so you will need a grinder. This could easily replace our current brand. Smooth, rich and full bodied. Zero bitterness
