I loved opening my coffee in the mail from 0.8L because of the scent immediately. It tasted even better than it smelled!!! only annoying part of all of it was that I had to grind the beans myself!

This coffee is very strong, so strong that the wonderful scent of coffee beans permeated the box it shipped in! At first whiff, it has the smokiness that the Columbian bean is known for. I had to use a bit more sugar and creamer to offset the bitterness. It's not my go-to, but will do when I'm out of everything else.

I'm new to drinking coffee so when I got the opportunity to try the Brownbag Coffee, I jumped at the chance. I chose the flavor Blossom, which claims to be less bitter and have a floral flavor. When I opened the bag, I could immediately smell the aroma of sweet flowers. It smelled so good! I've never dealt with whole coffee beans before but I used my mortar and pestle to grind the beans up. I probably should have ground them more cuz they were still pretty coarse. When my cup of coffee was done, it looked more like tea because it was lighter in color than other coffee I had made. I wanted to try it before adding any creamer or sugar so I let it cool down a bit. With my first sip, it took me back to my first thought of tea. It wasn't a strong coffee at all and the first flavor I noticed was sweet - almost fruity. There was a tad amount of bitterness but not much at all. It wasn't my favorite coffee but it was nice to try something a little different. I think this would go great with a nice, light lunch or something where you don't want a heavy coffee. I have friends and family asking my opinion about coffees and teas. So I was very happy with trying something new. This was a luxury to me. It had the taste it claimed to have, which I was happy with because my husband doesn’t like bitter coffee. It has a little nutty taste and tastes delicious with all creamers. This product by Brownbag coffee smell amazing. As as soon as I opened up the package, I was very pleased with the aroma. I then decided to grind up the beans in my coffee grinder. After that I brewed the coffee in my coffee brewer. The smell was amazing. After the coffee was brewed, that’s when I started to become disappointed. As a hot beverage, I didn’t think it had enough coffee flavor nor did it have enough body. However, I decided to use it as cold brew coffee. I absolutely love this product for cold brew coffee!! The flavor is perfect. So now I have a huge batch in my refrigerator and I will be drinking that for the rest of the week until I run out of this coffee. Because of this I give it a thumbs up!

I was so excited to try this coffee! I chose the Grand David roast because I thought my husband would get a kick out of it. The coffee aroma was evident even before opening the bag. I imagined this to be a dark roast, which it was, however it was not as full bodied as I normally like. It also had a bitter aftertaste which I don’t care for. I love dark coffees because they are usually smoky and smooth. This one was too light for me. I did enjoy grinding the beans though, which reminds me how nice it is to smell and brew freshly ground coffee. I really loved my Brownbag Coffee from 0.8L! The flavor was so bold and it was so fresh. I love being able to grind my own coffee. It was perfect for the crisp mornings we have been having here in Oregon.

I’m not some coffee guru (my mom certainly is), but I definitely enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee when I need some extra boost. I’m super happy I received “Blossom” because I love floral blends. It is ”blended with Ethiopia, Brazil, and India beans“. I’d say the bean size is medium to large. They used the technique called “Focus Blending” and they are the only company in the industry which produce coffee bean in scientific way based on algorithm. I’d love to know more details about this algorithm since I’m working in the plant sciences department now. 🤓 It claims to have fresh first taste like blooming flower, one can feel heavy taste when swallowing, which is true.👌🏻 This is a medium roast coffee, which is what I usually have. I love the smooth and refreshing first taste, but it has too much sourness afterwards for my liking. 😳 I do really like that there’s not much bitterness to it. I apologize for not taking the whole beans and ground coffee pictures before handing it to my mom. 😅 A 200g bag retails for $19.99 which is on the pricier side for the weight and what it is. I don’t mind trying a different flavor but I probably would not repurchase it.

I am sorry late posting been out of town and had you I was so happy yo get thst I opened it and grinded and put in container so I did not have my packaging so except for coffee and red bean pastry I had yo use stock pic. Be that as it may I was one of the lucky ones yo get picked by #brownbagcoffee and #0.8L to try for free. I got the age and David and I have yo say it is amazing and I am extremely thankful for this opportunity because I have found my new favorite. The Grand David is a very smooth and mild but not too strong taste to me. I don't like real strong coffee nor do I like coffee with that after bitter and acid taste. Grand David does not have either. Brown Bag Coffee- Grand David is a whole bean, medium dark roast (perfect) it is recommended to drink Hot/ Ice Americano/ Cafe Latte, Cappuccino and Macchiato. The origin of the coffee beans is Brazil, Guatemala, India and Ethiopia The only thing I did not like is it was not a readable bag but I put it in a jar anyway after it was got it and grind up. The packaging was sealed nicely keeping the coffee tight and fresh. Once you open it up, the smell was strong yet aromatic in a good way. It was grounded so you’ll have tonground the coffee yourself. We then put it in our reusable k-cup to make a cup of coffee. It made the whole house smell sooo good. Exactly what you want to smell waking up everyday for a cup of coffee. It’s definitely a high quality brand producing high quality coffee beans. It’s slightly bitter and super strong but nothing a little sugar and cream can’t fix. We already finished the bag and need more soon! Definitely recommend to try at least once. I was very happy to try the retro type of freshly roasted specialty coffee. At first I schocked to see how much u got for a sample. Second when I opened the bag i was kinda upset that it was in bean form bc I didn't have a grinder so luckly my aunt did bc I wouldn't have been able to make a cup of coffee... So when I opened up the coffee bag it smelled strong, with a hit of boldness and sweetness.. We grinded the coffee and I NEVER drink coffee black so I added my Carmel Macchiato creamer and I must say that it was VERY DELICIOUS!!! It was strong it was smooth, and my taste buds were very pleased. All in all I would buy again, I just would want it pre grounded instead of in bean form since I don't have a grinder. I really love my coffee and always love trying something different so I was very excited to be picked to try Brown Bag Coffee. I gotta say the aroma when you open that bag from the beans is so wonderful so once I started grinding them it brought such a amazing smell to my kitchen that I could not wait to drink a cup. Definitely a wonderful thing to smell first thing in the morning when it is brewing, perfect wake me up. I tend to go with light to medium roast as I am not really a strong coffee lover, and the Retro blend is definitely a nice medium roast that is not strong and just had a really nice smooth taste. I enjoy drinking this at anytime. Coffee lovers will not be disappointed!

I am a huge coffee lover so I was excited to try Brownbag coffee. I enjoyed smelling the aroma of the freshly roasted specialty coffee beans early in the morning. If you look forward to your coffee iln the morning, like I do, it helps to motivate you to get up and savor the smell in the morning! The taste of the coffee was pretty good too. I would recommend this to any coffee lover out there to try.

I got to try a free sample thanks to @0.8l_usa of this Brownbag Coffee in the flavor Blossom. I used 2 tablespoons of coffee beans per 1 cup of water. I like it, it has a nice taste....kind of sweet/sour but not nasty. Would I buy it? I would if I wanted to switch it up a bit.

I LOVE coffee!!! I'm happy I was selected on this campaign! The past few days I've been testing the Grand David blend from Brownbag Coffee. They are a korean brand and imo are pretty pricey!! This smallish bag retails for almost $27. So far I've been able to get almost 6 cups and 2 glasses of iced. I think there is enough grounds for maybe 2 more cups. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. It has just the right amount of bold. I'm not like super blown away by this particular roast but I would purchase it if it wasn't as expensive as it is! The bag is a hair over 7 ounces btw! The coffee doesn't taste expensive if that makes sense. I'm super happy I was able to try this courtesy of @0.8l_usa and these are my honest thoughts.

Thanks 0.8l for giving me an opportunity to try Freshly Roasted Specialty Coffee Beans (On the star) Coffee is great! Flavorful and aromatic. I really enjoy it. Now I want to try other options. Highly recommend.
