This is an essence so should be used as such, but I have been using this at all different steps of my routine. It’s moisturizing, fast absorbing, and feels amazing. It’s for dry skin, although I think all skin types except maybe oily types could benefit from this. This Hyggee essence claims to be a “new” type of “oil/essence”. It’s composed of a ratio of 20% plant oil and 80% enriched watery essence, which is separated into two layers in the bottle and must be shaken very well before use to combine the two. There are all types of really great ingredients in this essence. I’m really impressed with the ingredients. (I’ll post a picture of the ingredients in my story so you can see how many) Claims: to exfoliate the skin, with the help of 4 different kinds of ferment such as lactobacillus, and bifida. Also it claims to provide intense hydration, which it does without being overly greasy in my opinion, with the help of birch sap and other oils, this essence creates a barrier on the skin to help lock moisture in and prevent it from evaporating. This is more than just an essence, it can work as your toner, even a moisturizer depending on your skin and what your skin may need at the time. I have used this as both. This product does everything that it claims and more for my skin and I really enjoy this! I would recommend this to anyone who has dry/normal skin. And I would absolutely repurchase this. This is a great essence, especially if you don't want to incorporate more than a few steps. It contains amazing ingredients and sinks into the skin fairly quickly. I made the mistake of using too much the first few times, you only need a little bit of product. As the saying goes, a little goes a long way. I have seen an amazing difference in my skins hydration throughout the day while using this product. My skin looks and feels so much better and I visibly can see the difference when I havent used it. I will definitely continue to use it and would most certainly repurchase it.

This comes in two versions, balance for dry/aging skin and fresh for combination/oily skin. The balance version is a bi-phase oil with 5 oil ingredients on the top layer, (macadamia, sunflower seed, jojoba, apple seed, and bergamot oil) and birch sap moisturizer on the bottom layer. It’s supposed to be an all-in-one product that is a toner, essence, and serum. After you shake it, you get a runny essence with little oil droplets dispersed throughout. It smells like citrus-y bergamot (from the bergamot oil) but fades pretty much right after I put it on my face. I was a little worried when I saw that this was for dry/aging skin because it seemed like the fresh one would be a better fit for me but I ended up really liking it. It adds the perfect amount of moisture without being greasy. I like using it in the morning to make my routine simpler. All I need is this and some sunscreen and then I’m good! I think this might be too heavy for people with oily skin but for me it’s great as a one step product to simplify my routine. As a side note, CrediThink is a new k-beauty shop that ships through Amazon. They have some great products and also ship super fast! All of my products have showed up the day after I got the shipping notification. 4.5/5 Might repurchase, but it’s a little pricey. I want to try the fresh version next!

#HYGGEE BALANCE ONE STEP FACIAL ESSENCE I purchased this from #08L app during their Try Now camping for $3.99 I've had it for about 3 weeks but only used it for about 1 week. I find this all in one essence to be too heavy for summer and that I think I saw some breakouts/clogged pores from it. The liquid it in two parts, oil & water. You shake it and use as an essence. When it rubs in you can see the oil droplets in the essence. It leaves the skin oily but soft and moisturized. I personally can't stand it. I have combo oily/dry, but it's too much for summer. I will test it again in winter when my skin is drier. It smells strong of bergamot, which is really refreshing but can be overwhelming. The ingredients overall are really nice and I recommend this for drier skin types or those who are looking for the Korean glow. My routines are not just a bunch of products that I use for my skin, it is my daily meditation. I quite enjoy the 10-15 minutes that I take everyday in the morning and night for selfcare. On a daily basis my routines are anywhere from 8-14 steps. @hyggee_global Balance One Step Facial Essence is exactly what my routines are not, minimalistic .. Hyggee Minimum Skincare Technology is designed to provide an all in one formula that simplifies skincare routine. This essence is to be used in place of Toner, Essence and Serum. The focus of the product is to provide an ideal balance of oil and moisture to the skin. If you look closely at the bottle, you will see the top layer is oil (mix of five oils - Macadamia Seed oil, Sunflower seed oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Squalane and Apple Seed Oil) while the bottom layer is Birch Sap moisturizer. You shake / mix it before use. On mixing, the oil capsules are formed and these capsules provide your with the balance that it needs .. The packaging is clean, comes in sleek bottle with a stopper at the top to control the amount of product you use. I had to constantly remind myself to shake the bottle prior to use. There were times when I ended up pouring only the oil onto my palms. I use 1-2 pumps in my AM and PM routine. At first this leaves an oily sheen on your face. In 1-2 minutes the essence is absorbed leaving behind smooth radiant skin. I did try using this as the only essence in my AM routine after a Vitamin C and my skin felt dry in an hour or so. So, I use this with my other hydration layers. I would recommend this product to anyone with dry skin. Oily skins might find this to be a little heavy. Overall, a great product that I have fallen in love with and constantly reach out to in my routines. This would be a great addition to your routines specially for days when you do not have enough time to get through your entire routine. I have been testing out this Hyggee Balance One-Step Facial Essence, and I love it! I am so pleased that I got to try this product out for a trial price from @0.8L_USA. This essence took me by surprise. Firstly, it is beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice because it is an oil in water type of product meaning that when you shake it up it looks like sparkles as the oil and water mixes. It claims to have a 20:80 ratio of oil to moisture, and I think that is true because when it separates, it is about 20/80. This product contains Birch Sap, NMF-5, Botanic oils, and Lactobacillus and smells just like orange juice. Sometimes I test things out that are a bit of a chore to use for one reason or another, but not with this essence. It is easy to get out, applies nicely, smells great, soaks in quickly, leaves the skin radiance, and it is beautiful as well! I really can't find cons to this product – I would recommend it to anyone. I apply this essence following the thin to thick rule – so I will start with the cleansers, toner, HA, followed by this product, the Ceramide Hydra Fluid, a heavy cream, and a sunscreen. No matter what I put on top, this essence layers beautifully. Sometimes mixing oil and water can be tricky, but they have perfected it with this product. This essence leaves my skin plump, prepped, and ready to go. I have had no issues with dry skin since I started using this product and I will continue to use it until it is gone. This product retails for $30 on Amazon and is worth every penny. One final note – this product is advertised as an all-in-one product, however, I doubt it has enough moisture in it to be the only product that I use – perhaps for people with really oily skin, but I have dry skin, so I would always layer it. I would love to try more things from #Hyggee because I have been so impressed with this product. This was actually the first that I had heard about this brand – I will be checking them out more. Probably one of my favorite toners because it's a toner, serum and essance all in one! You have to shake very well before using so the oil emulsifies with the goodness inside. I love it for those mornings where I'm running late or the nights I'm feeling really lazy and don't want to slather 10 things on my face. It also smells incredibly of bermagot and is a real treat to use.

I love when a product has many uses and can help minimize the amount of products I use. The product is a mix of oil and essence so it is separated when first taken out which is why shaking it is so important before use. It has a really nice floral scent to the product. The essence looks milky in the bottle but goes on clear. It absorbs well and pretty quickly into the skin. It is a very nice essence and is more moisturizing than other essence products I have used. Depending on your skin type an additional moisturizer is not needed. I was able to use without adding a moisturizer and felt this worked well but that can vary for everyone. It is supposed to be exfoliating but I would consider it a very light exfoliation. I wouldn't depend on it for that purpose. As an essence I think it works amazingly well and did find it to be multi use.

I loved the Hyggee Onestep Essence! This was perfect timing as I was in need of a good essence. You do need to shake the essence as the oil separates away from the rest of the formula. Lightly scented and very moisturizing.
