🍓 Hyggee One Step Facial Essence Balance 🍓. . . 🍓 This toner is a ratio of 20/80 oil to essence. It has more slip to it than I'm normally used to but it's really nice for my dry skin. My face is like a desert so it drinks it up! Depending on how my skin is feeling, I do 1-2 layers of this. I also prefer using this more like an essence than a toner/FTE just because it has oils in it. There is a light fruity scent to my nose which fades away after application. So far, I love incorporating this into my routine. Dr. Hyggee or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Oil ✴️✴️✴️ **Purchased from #08L at discounted price for review** Here’s the thing, I’ve never really been too keen on oils. A drop or two of oil into a cream is ok every once in awhile but you’ll rarely find me finishing off my skincare routine with a straight application of an oil. With this Hyggee Balance One Step Facial Essence though, I think I’ve finally found the perfect product for oil averse folks like me. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🔸What is it: This is intended as an all in one product, fulfilling the function of toner, serum and moisturizer. It’s a dual phase type product containing an ideal ratio of 80% birch sap water to 20% oil mix. 🔸Size and packaging: 110ml in a sturdy plastic bottle with a small pour hole opening which provides enough control so that it dispenses easily but not too much too quickly. 🔸Notable Ingredients: This essence boasts birch sap juice (also in my beloved Cosrx Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion) as its first ingredient in place of plain water. The oil mix includes macadamia seed, jojoba seed, sunflower seed, and squalane to deeply moisturize. 🔸Scent: Because of the included bergamot fruit oil, it has a strong citrusy scent but it dissipates after a bit. 🔸Application: After shaking well, I typically pour 3-4 drops into the palm of my hands, spread out a bit and gently pat into my skin, starting first with my drier U-zone before patting in the little remaining product on my oilier t-zone. 🔸Performance: This essence is feels supremely moisturizing but not heavy or greasy at all, which was my biggest worry initially. I love how well it sinks in leaving my skin skin so soft I can’t stop patting my own cheeks. I’ve found that during this hot summer, using this product as my last step before sunscreen provides my combo skin enough lasting moisture for the whole day. 🔶Conclusion: This essence has been a great time-saver for me lately. Long-winded multi-step routines can be very therapeutic but I’m also starting to see the value in single products that perform well enough to eliminate multiple steps when you’re short on time.

OMG! This is a fantastic essence! I just did an enzyme with microdermabrasion and got a little carried away. This Literally saved my skin. It’s very very hydrating. So much in fact, that I probably wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin. It has a clean citrus scent that some may find overpowering, but I enjoy it. The ingredient list is stellar. I’ve used it alone and layered with other skincare. I absolutely love it!

I received this at a reduced rate in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own. This was not what I was expecting!! I was thinking for some reason this would look and feel similar to the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner, but this is WAY different!! In a totally good way, in my opinion. This is an essence that has a ratio of 20% oil to 80% moisture. The oils included in this formulation are squalane, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil, apple seed oil and bergamot fruit oil. Some other notable ingredients are glycerin, and probiotics lactobacillus ferment and lactococcus ferment lysate. All three of these are skin conditioning ingredients and this essence is highly moisturizing because of this. The added oils in this product actually make my routine shorter and less time consuming since i can easily skip adding oil at the very end of my routine, and if i'm being super lazy, I can even skip my summer time moisturizer!! This is a lovely, lightweight formula that has given my skin a healthy lit from within glow after application and hasn't caused any breakouts, even with all the oils. So far i've used this in my evening routine every night for about a week and I do believe this has made my skin look supple and healthy in this short amount of time!! I'm really loving this product. I do have to say that the smallest amount is all that's needed. I think I used too much the first couple nights and was waking up a little more greasy in my t-zone, but remedied the issue by using less!! Hope this helps!!

One Essence to Rule Them All 🐚 This is a game changer essence for people who are lazy or with dry skin. I don’t have dry skin but I am lazy so let’s talk about that. Often, my routine includes anywhere from 6-15 steps, it’s a lot. Maybe a toner or two, a few essences, two oils mixed together, a mask, a moisturizer,an spf, the list goes on. 🐚 So this is a hybrid essence that has both the watery, milky and oily component to balance it all out. It’s super hydrating and moisturizing, has a nice, light, natural scent and doesn’t bother my skin in the least. As it says on the package, it’s a product that allows for minimalism. You don’t need a toner, 3 essence and 2 oils with this. You need just this. So lazy girls and dudes unite! It’s a fun tri-phase (dual-phase?) product with simple, cute packaging that really works at both making your life easier and your skin happier. That’s a huge win for me.

Probably due to the scent or it might have been too rich for my skin, i got small hives. However, the next time i used it i had no problems.
