Its squat square shape is very endearing to me but it’s not very practical because it takes up a lot of room in the shower caddy. Also, the size makes it somewhat awkward to hold the bottle while depressing the pump with one hand. • 💦 Scent: I detect a minty smell. One of the hardest parts of buying skincare for me is always finding the right oil or foaming cleansers. I need something that is going to take all my makeup off without irritating my skin or drying it out. Sadly, this is always a trial. Since catching Simplistic Skincare’s Begin cleanser on 0.8L I’ve been testing it to see if it lives up to my makeup-filled, hectic life. Here’s what I ❤️ about this cleanser; ❤️Great packaging, simple and clean with a great lockable dispenser that doesn’t leak while traveling. (SUPER important for this witch!) ❤️Simple ingredients with ingredient everyone can recognize such as honey, Cyprus water, aloe, and fruit oils. Most of the ingredients are anti irritating and hydrating. ❤️Low pH. This cleanser comes in around 5.5-6 and foams gently while not irritating the skin or leaving that dreadfully tight, squeaky clean feeling. What Makes me 🙄 about this cleanser; 🙄 The usual price for this cleanser is $26-$31. That’s really high, especially considering that this is a great cleanser but not HG. 🙄It doesn’t totally clean away makeup. If you look in my images, you’ll see I tried washing my hand with lipstick, eyeliner, B.B. cream, and cream highlighter. While it cleaned away the creams, the eyeliner and lipstick remained almost as perfectly as when I had put them on. While I usually use makeup remover and/or an oil cleanser before using my foaming cleansers, it doesn’t give me great faith that all of my makeup comes off completely. For anyone who may not take part in the 2 cleanser method, I wouldn’t trust this cleanser to do the job for you. While there’s lots to love about this cleanser, I think that the pictures and price show that I can’t give this cleanser a perfect score. While it works really well for me, I can’t in good conscious say it’s an amazing cleanser that everyone needs to try.

You know how they say "you don't know what you have until it's gone" well that's the way I feel about this face wash. I am on vacation now and I decided not to take this with me because it's just a little bit too big, and so instead I brought an innisfree green tea travel size of their face wash. And I regret it. This face wash is hands-down the best I have ever used in my entire life. I have been able to use this face wash two times a day which is unheard of for my skin. I have extremely dry skin and so normally I can only wash my face with a cleanser at night, and then follow up with a micellar water or a beauty water in the a.m. With this face wash I am able to actually wash my face in the morning and the evening without any problems whatsoever. My face feels extremely moisturized and plump ready to go, never ever ever stripped. I think that it has to do with the honey that is contained within this but whatever it is this is a fantastic face wash and I would recommend it to anyone that's in the business for new face wash. Thank you so much @0.8l_usa for allowing me to try this out for a trial fee. I will use this until it is totally gone and probably repurchased because this has made such a big change in my skin. Amazing Cleanser!!! So I received this cleanser once before but it arrived broken. I was really disappointed because i really wanted & needed to Try a cleanser. Simplistic was nice enough to send me a new one so i was able to do my review. But i wasn’t disappointed this time! I love this cleanser!! Its takes my makeup off so smoothly & cleanses my pores amazingly. It has a cool feeling that you can feel it working into your skin. After cleansing my face feels so soft & smooth! I love how my face feels.

Review: Simplistic Skincare BEGIN Cleanser . . ✨250ml/8.45 fl.oz ✨100% Honey (Not Extract) & Propolis Extract . I wasn't sure if I liked this cleanser in the beginning. It has an interesting scent and I couldn't get it to lather at all, which I'm not used to from a cleanser. (Even the most gentle cleanser without harsh surfactants seemed to lather a tiny bit, but not this one.) But after using it several times, I've actually come to enjoy using this! The scent is mild but very herbal/medicinal (?)-- there's peppermint oil so it smells like that, but there's something else there. The texture is similar to a typical gel cleanser, and from the texture, I can tell that the product includes a lot of honey. Washing my face with this cleanser leaves my face feeling very fresh and clean, like it washed away the oil and dirt in my pores. There's no dryness or tautness afterward, although leaves my skin just a tiny bit more tight than I'm used to, but it doesn't bother me at all. It doesn't do anything to calm any redness or irritation I might have on my checks, but it doesn't seem to aggravate it either. . . It was provided to me for a trial fee in exchange for an honest review by @0.8l_usa & @credithink. # My routines are unusual compared to the normal #koreanskincareroutine in that I use Micellar water as my 2nd cleanse some days & also as my AM cleanse step. The only time I use a traditional 2nd cleanser is when I shower. So that’s why you don’t see them all that often on my feed! # That said, this one has gotten good reviews online, so when it was available on 0.8L, I grabbed it! And, spoiler, I’m glad I did. This #facialcleanser features Japanese Cypress Water, which I hadn’t seen much about. Thanks to #rasianbeauty, I found a study that found this ingredient can help with anti-aging & builds proteins that are lacking in dry & eczema prone skin 🙌 It also contains honey AND propolis as well as aloe. # The formula has a thin gel texture & smells faintly herbal/minty. I love mint scents so this really appealed to me! It has a ph of 5.5 & doesn’t foam - just a few bubbles as it washes away. I’ve used this in the shower for over 2 weeks. # This cleanser is the best one I’ve tried so far. As I mentioned I love the scent, but it also leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped. The rare unicorn! I’ve tried it on its own & also with my Clarisonic & it worked well either way. They use only safe ingredients rated GREEN from EWG Sin Deep. This cleanser is made from 99% natural ingredients including real honey, and organic aloe which is know to purify and do many other great things for the skin. This cleanser works so well at cleansing away dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping the skin and making my skin feel dry after. I always double cleanse so I use this alone after my oil cleanse or sometimes with an enzyme powder. I really think it’s one of the best cleansers I’ve used so far and I’ve used lots. I love this cleanser not only because of how great in makes my skin feel and how well it cleans, but it smells amazing too, it has a slight minty smell, very refreshing. It’s a dark amber color and is very think in consistency. It lathers so nicely on the skin. I would repurchase this product and I recommend it to any and all skin types. I’ve been testing out the Simplistic Begin Cleanser over the course of a few weeks now, and am ready to share a few notes on my experience. . Firstly, I was excited to try this out because it has a seemingly gentle formula. With combination acne prone skin that’s showing signs of aging, I need gentle, clean, hydrating products. The ingredients list contains honey and aloe vera, which hydrate and soothe the skin. It also contains chamaecyparis obtusa water, which claims to be a strong antioxidant and delay signs of aging. . The cleanser has a brown color, and is a thick gel. I personally like the consistency because it’s easier to work with - it’s not too thick, but thick enough that you’re not racing the clock to apply it before it runs everywhere on your hands or face. There is also a pleasant mint scent. I really enjoy this - I’m not normally a fan of scents but this is light and invigorating, which I appreciate when I’m washing my face. . I get a nice gentle lather working with this cleanser, but it foams up too with a foaming net or pump. It has a pH of 6 (according to my strips) and I feel no tightness on my skin when I use or rinse away this cleanser either. It actually leaves my skin feeling nice and smooth! . Overall I’m pleased with this particular cleanser, and just light repurchase it when it’s gone - but y’all know I love to try new things... . Review time! I have tested out this natural botanic based cleanser for about two weeks and feel it's perfect for cleansing dry skin. It has honey and aloe so it leaves skin soft and not stripped feeling. The cleanser gets sudsy, but not foamy. I noticed it's pretty effective at gently removing my eye makeup as well. Great for parched summer skin 🌞

After seeing this cleanser on someone else’s story - I always remembered it by its shape and name. They were always raving about it, and would use it as a treat/splurge. When I saw it available, I knew it had to get it. • The Simplistic Skincare BEGIN Cleanser has met my expectations in the following: * Ph of about 6, give or take. It’s great for the AM, and also a second PM Cleanser. I was already on the market for a less stripping cleanser, and this one is perfect to fit that criteria. Should I mention, it doesn’t feel stripping all because I feel very hydrated after. * They call out - zero harmful substances which I can agree with because this wash is super gentle. So great for people with sensitive skin. * I may be bias - but I love any cleansers that come in a pump. It takes the hassle out of using both hands to really open a cap. And you don’t need to squeeze out a perfect amount because a pump is all you need. Easy and convenient. * Texture, it’s amber colored with no scent that I noticed. After it emulsifies, I get a herbal like scent which I do enjoy. It’s not heavy, but if you really sniff for it, you’ll get it. Since I have been looking for a everyday staple replacement, I think this one fits my book. I would definitely repurchase again, and excited I got to try this product!

After having used the @cerave hydrating cleanser for years, 2018 has been a year where I have been trying multiple second cleansers. I used up a large sized Cerave cleanser and was looking to try different cleansers. I decided to get this cleanser when I saw that this is made of REAL HONEY, not honey extract REAL HONEY !! Honey is one of my favorite skincare ingredients and I tend to buy anything with honey with it .. Simplistic is an indie brand from Korea that focusses on creating simple formulas with no irritants or harmful ingredients. The base of this cleanser is Chamaecyparis Obtusa Water also known as Japanese cypress / Hinoki cypress is rich in antioxidants and studies have shown that it can delay aging. Other notable ingredients include Honey(humectant, antibacterial), Propolis(antibiotic, wound healing), Pinus Radiata Bark Extract(antioxidant), Lichen (antibacterial), Aloe leaf extract (soothing). Ecocert certified plant derived surfactants are also present. This does contain peppermint oil so if you are sensitive to it stay away from the cleanser .. The cleanser comes in a 250 ml square chunky bottle. The packaging is minimalistic and one that is pleasing. My husband who rarely pays attention to my skincare products, looked at this and said this had a unisex appeal. The bottle has a pump that can be closed. The cleanser is a smooth amber colored gel. It smells minty and I find the fragrance refreshing. Once mixed with water, this cleanser turns into mild foam. It cleanses effectively and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated without feeling stripped. If you love honey and like mint fragrance you will love this cleanser. It fits perfect next to the sink to use easily in the morning and night. The pump top is perfection. One quick pump is all you need. The cleanser has a nice scent sort of like an herbal mint. It is not to over powerful either. The cleanser is a peach orange color with a gel like texture. It lathers really well and works great. My skin fells and looks really good after using it. It does not dry out my skin either which is something I expect from a good cleanser. It is safe to use twice a day and provides an amazing clean with simple ingredients.
