《FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Simplistic Begin Cleanser》 I was really excited to get to finally try this cleanser after hearing a number of rave reviews. And honestly, I think I can see why it's so popular. This is a low pH cleanser with honey and aloe to leave the skin nicely cleaned and feeling happy. Not stripped and dry. My skin feels quite smooth and soft actually. I wouldn't say it's totally sensitive skin friendly though because it does sting just ever so slightly if the skin is already irritated. I think it might be due to the peppermint oil that's in it. It also has a strong minty herbal scent, which I actually really like. Smells almost like the Skylake shampoo, which is another great product. Tiny shoutout to the square bottle because I won't be knocking down this one while trying to clean my face. 🤣

This great face cleanser is made of 99% natural ingredients. Which include real honey, organic aloe vera extract, and peppermint oil is just some of the main ingredients that caught my attention. Since this cleanser has a low ph it's perfect for all skin types. And doesn't strip or irritate the skin at all. This reddish clear gel cleanser comes in a dark brown square bottle, with a pump top. While cleansing your face you first smell the minty refreshing scent. After applying one to two pumps to damp skin, the gel emulsifies into a creamy lather. It didn't strip or irritate my skin at all. This cleanser has a low ph making it suitable for any skin types. It was a perfect match for my skin. I loved the smell and the minty tingle on my skin while using it. Completely cleansed my skin without drying it out. LOVE 💜

One of the most intriguing facial cleansers I’ve had the opportunity to try! The Simplistic Begin cleanser is wonderful. . . First off, it contains real honey!!!! Not an extract, but pure honey. 😻 Using EWG and Ecocert certified ingredients as well. Notable ingredients like Japanese Cypress water, honey, allantoin, olive oil, and aloe. No harmful ingredients or synthetic fragrances. 👌🏻 Great for cleansing, leaving your skin silky smooth, as well as anti-aging! 🙌🏻 The pH seemed to be around a 6 for me and didn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. Peppermint oil giving it a minty scent and mild refreshing sensation while washing. Thick, honey colored gel that creates a light foam. Not to mention that sleek packaging. 😻For the amount the price point isn’t bad. I’ve seen it for $23 on Amazon and $26 on @beautibi. If you’re looking for a simple and clean facial cleanser this might be your new love.

Now I can’t stand it upright so the cleanser is poured out from the small crack at the bottom 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was shipped from the seller through @credithink on amazon so they really needs to use some better packaging I guess. Chamaecyparis obtuse water is a very interesting choice as first ingredient so I googled and found that it’s a species of cypress native to central Japan and is a near threatened species ☹️ The cleanser itself is very gentle. It doesn’t foam very much and contains only naturally derived surfactants. Not as nourishing as I would have liked despite the spotlight on aloe and real honey in the formula. It also claims 0-2 irritation rating on this company(?) called EWG which I personally have no care for bc their articles are kinda wack. They do cite some papers at the bottom of the pages of their ingredient ratings pages though. And the peppermint oil is slightly irritating to my eyes so I never use the cleanser there. There’s no additional information about why sub-acidic is in the name and I don’t have any pH strips to test them myself (which I really need to get like right now) so I can only hope this is a low pH cleanser. . I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and I love it ! It's a gel cleanser by @simplistic. I like using gel cleansers because of my oily skin so this was perfect. It has very natural ingredients. The p.h is 5.5. The smell is amazing! It contains Usnea Barbata, Japanese Cyprus, honey, and aloe. The packaging is super simple and cute. ········· I really like the cube/box packaging to this cleanser. I also love the twist lock on the dispenser! It’s very secure and doesn’t leak. This cleanser is made with real honey and has a nice amber color to it. The consistency is gel-like and doesn’t foam. One pump is more than enough for cleansing. My skin feels nice and soft after cleansing and never stripped of moisture. One downside is the scent. I read that it’s a peppermint scent(?) but it smells like a Ricola Honey cough-drop to me. Another is that the honey formula does clog the disperser head (outside) and if I’m not paying attention it squirts everywhere, but I use this in the shower so it’s a really small issue. ········· Overall, I like this cleanser but I’m not sure if I would repurchase this since I do have a cleanser I like more. I may or may not have the entire collection of muji square PET pump bottles in my online cart 👀 sometimes it hard to pull the trigger since it means decanting but finally a brand made a luscious choco brown bottle of cleanser that feeds my geometric containment needs. . . . Aside from the packaging the @simplistic_skin cleanser caught my eye because I had seen so many rave reviews for it. The only one I've seen upset is coco in my first pic since I wasn't giving her enough attention or milkbones. Simplistic Sub-Acidic Facial Cleanser BEGIN I’ve seen this cleanser reviewed on Instagram by a few people, AND I needed a new cleanser, so I was super happy when this cleanser appeared on @08liter! As the name suggests, even the packaging of this product is simple and modern. The cleanser itself has an orange color, which I would assume has something to do with one of the main ingredients in this cleanser - honey. The cleanser feels similar to a gel and smells amazing and a little spicy. It feels comfortable on my skin and isn’t drying at all. In fact, because of the honey, my skin feels nourished after using this particular cleanser. I would definitely recommend this cleanser to my friends, especially those who have combo skin like I do. This is probably my fave @0.8l cleanser discovery to date. . 🌟 I've heard so many good things about the Begin Cleanser and I now understand why it's a blogger favorite. First of all, the INCI list is amazing - Simplistic boasts about its clean formula. This includes Japanese Cyprus water as well as honey, olive oil fruit extract, aloe, peppermint, glycerin and allantoin. The combo of botanical ingredients gives this cleanser an herbal scent. It's pronounced but manageable. When I use it, I mostly detect the peppermint scent. . 🌟 Packaging is also on point. The amber square bottle with a pump is so pleasing to me. It's simple, clean and really looks great on my vanity. While that's not super important to me, I do like seeing this on my bathroom counter. The product itself is a gel-type cleanser. It's honey/reddish in color and slightly viscous but not sticky. I also love that it has mild to zero foam. Rinse off is a breeze. Comes off completely and does not leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. In fact, my skin almost feels moisturized after use. I actually picked up the Simplistic Begin cleanser from them a couple weeks before 0.8Liter offered it so when I saw it as a try now campaign at that discounted trial fee, I grabbed a second bottle.   ......................................... 🍯Obviously the packaging is a win,  it's sleek and modern. I don't much like the pump though,  it gets a little clogged up and then product squirts out all over.  I keep it in my shower though, so not a major issue. ........................................... 🍯It's formulated with a base of Japanese Cyprus water, honey,  aloe powder, allantoin, propolis extract, olive oil and peppermint oil, among a few other things.  I appreciate it's minimal, safe ingredient list. ................................................. 🍯It's a gorgeous amber color and very silky smooth texture.  It foams up nicely and one pump is more than enough! It's got a light peppermint scent which manages to be both stimulating and relaxing at the same time. The bubbles are soft and plentiful and do a good job at clearing my pores.  I'm never left tight after cleansing and it rinses clean. ......................................... 🍯Overall,  I like this cleanser. They weren’t kidding when they named this cleanser simplistic. It contains 99% natural ingredients such as aloe extract, honey, cypress water and olive oil. It has an herbal, pepperminty smell to it. The packaging is cute and it matches the aesthetic on my bathroom shelf with similar colored bottles. The pump is convenient and makes washing my face easy. The wash has a gel texture. The mint in the cleanser makes my face tingle, so this isn’t for those who don’t like that sensation. My skin feels cleansed and softer after using this, however I still need to use a makeup remover to fully get my face cleaned. The only downside is the price of this, which averages around $25. Personally, I wouldn’t usually spend that much on a facial cleanser but that’s not to say this isn’t worth the money. Overall, I was very happy with this cleanser. Thoughts... First off, the strong scent of peppermint made me hesitate putting it on my face, but gladly it didn’t cause the typical strong cooling sensation.
