Simplistic’s design has a nice unisex appeal. 🍯Texture: Thicker gel consistency not unlike honey which is actually one of the key ingredients. 🍯Scent: Refreshingly minty due to the included peppermint extract. 🍯Ingredients: Heavy focus on more natural, non-irritating ingredients including a plant derived surfactant. But I think that also means it doesn’t use traditional preservatives to ensure the life of the product. I love the inclusion of honey which I think gives the cleanser its color and texture. I love the chubby cube packaging along with simple and modern design concept. Also the ingredient list is just perfection! . The cleanser has the most pleasant scent...woodsy, minty, and so fresh. It's just amazing. . The texture is thick, gel like which nicely foamed but not detergent like. Really love that. My skin did not feel any pulling sensation or experienced any negative effect post cleansing. Skin felt soft and so soothing. You know that feeling of getting out of spa....? This cleanser made me feel that way...! . This is a definitely a lovely 2nd cleanser. . Also if you are wondering...the product does look small..but it is just short and chubby. The amount of product in the packaging is actually pretty generous compared to your typical cleanser. Plus a little goes a long way. Definitely worth the $ imo. . There’s something infinitely attractive about a short and honest ingredient list and a company that’s willing to fully disclose the source and the purpose of all ingredients. Although obviously not related to effectiveness, the packaging is lovely too. Simple, clean design that is completely unisex. I love aesthetically pleasing tubes and bottles in the bathroom. . I have combination skin that doesn’t typically break out, but there are occasional episodes. I did notice that the BEGIN cleanser helps them resolve faster. In general, my skin feels very soft, clean, but not “squeaky” or over-stripped. I mostly use this in the morning, but have also tested as a second cleanser in the evening and it works just as well. This is definitely a brand I will be keeping my eye on from now on. It’s worth a try.

The ONLY THiNG I didn’t like is the minty smell because mint is for toothpaste and dark chocolates and other desserts. Smell is a personal thing, yah know? Anyway, even though I didn’t like the scent, I still love this because—what is it that they say about love?—Love is not blind (anosmic). On the contrary, it sees (smells) everything, but it does not mind. Awww 🤗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The 250-mL amber-colored cube for a packaging is all about minimalist vibes (I like neutral designs as it’s easier to convince my husband to try something with me; but he doesn’t like the scent, too, so good luck with that 😅). The gel consistency is like a thinner version of honey 😍 This is low-foaming with a pH of 5.5 - 6, totally refreshing, and actually feels hydrating (because... honey!! 💛). The cleansing abilities are on point: This fantabulously takes off dirt, my sunscreen, and my non-waterproof makeup without leaving behind any residue.
