When 0.3L had a campaign on a korean luxury indie brand Simplistic, I was too weak not to give it a go! Simplistic Must Sun Cream is 100% physical sunscreen containing primarily zinc oxide and titanium oxide both of which are non nano (yey!) All ingredients are also graded between 0-2 on EWG skin database. The best part, its silicone free! This sunscreen has a thick creamy consistency and comes off light beige (which is okay if you are fair tone) with a hint of lemon grass scent. Does take time to absorb but it settles nicely. It also blurs minor imperfections and pores. Although I feel like SPF 33 is enough, I do wish that it has more added PA protection. SPF indicates level of protection from UVB rays whereas PA indicates level of protection from UVA rays. Ideally, PA +++ would be more beneficial especially during summer. @simplistic_skin Sun Cream SPF 33/ PA++ review! . ☀This is a 100% physical sunscreen designed for daily use. When I saw it on @0.8l_usa, what attracted to me the most was its nude color that is supposed to neutralize redness and leave a brughtening, tone up effect. Usually I steer away from these products because they make me super pale 👻 BUT the effect of this one is noticeable but not dramatic, and I ended up really liking it! 🙌 . ☀ As expected, it initially leaves a white cast but gets absorbed completely in a few seconds leaving a slightly brightening, "my skin but better" effect. No coverage, but the natural effect makes it great to slightly even out my skin tone and neutralize some redness. . ⭐ 4.5/5 ⭐: Great daily sunscreen! The SPF is a little lower than other sunscreens but still more than the recommended SPF 30 for daily use. The texture is a little thicker and not the easiest to spread but again, it gets absorbed completely leaving no trace other than the slight tone up effect that I love! It hasn't given me breakouts and I'm really enjoying it for daily use 😊 I still use SPF 45 or higher if I will be out in the sun for some time though! . Simplistic Skin Care MUST Sun Cream SPF 33/PA + @simplistic_skin Product Detail: Silicone-free, Non-nano, and 100% physical barrier sun cream. Scent: It has a light fragrant of lemon, but if you smell it really closely, it smells like a lemon scent cleaner, almost like Lysol. But no need to worry, as the scent does not linger and no one will smell you to tell you that you smell like cleaner. Texture: This sun cream is light beige in color and a bit thicker than most. But it's also creamy to apply. At first application, it was a bit difficult to apply, but after a while, I found that it became a bit easier each time. I like the tap and rub method, which seems to work perfectly for sun cream application. Maybe with a help of a cushion would be easier as well, which I haven't tired yet. It being a thick cream, it did not feel heavy or greasy at all and it dried up fairly quickly to a semi-matte. Result: I use to think that any sunscreen that were SPF 50+ was the best and gave more coverage. But when I found out that the only difference in level of protection between SPF 30 and SPF 50 was 1% in UV blocking, I knew that whichever SPF I used didn't matter, as long as I liked the texture and the result from using it. At first, from using this sun cream, I thought that the light beige color was leaving a white cast on my face. It was then that I realized that it was only "neutralizing the tone," so it was not technically a white cast. This sun cream can also be used a a primer, even though I like using it alone. If you find that the sun cream is still hard to apply, I find that using a gel moisturizer or facial oil before applying sun cream, helps in creating a slip where the sun cream glides right on. But your face will probably appear more oily, but I think you just have to wait a bit longer for it to dry. It was provided for a trial fee by @credithink & @0.8l_usa in exchange for an honest review. # After trying and LOVING the #SimplisticSkin gel cleanser, I was excited to also give the brand’s #sunscreen a try! It has a really interesting ingredient list which includes ceramides (!) & does not contain alcohol. It’s SPF 33 & PA++, which is a bit low - but fine for everyday wear for me. The formula is tinted, which could help even out skin for people who don’t want to wear makeup. # I first started using this after my typical AM routine. Unfortunately I found it hard to pat in, perhaps because of my longer routine? After some failed attempts this way, I switched to applying it with a cushion puff, a la @fiddysnails. This helped a lot & let me use it daily without worrying about pilling or unevenness (which were issues applied normally) # Other things of note about this is that it has a strong citrus scent - typically I enjoy them but this trended towards cleaning-product-citrus. The other issue was that, due to the zinc, it has a heavy white cast. It absorbed & faded after a few minutes, thankfully! # Overall, this wasn’t a bad product, but I’d prefer one that can be applied like a moisturizer & didn’t require a puff application. And also had less of or a more pleasant scent. But I appreciate the chance to try it!

It is looking crazy when you first apply it on another sun cream (I use Benton Papaya-D Sun Cream, and wait until absorbed) it looks like piece of gum stuck to face but spread, pat and you are Golden! Through many years of neglecting this step (especially living in SoCal) it resulted in apparent sunspots(dark spots).  . To be honest, this sunscreen is not the most easiest to work with.  The product tend to be pushed around and not fully absorb. 🌞 Sun Cream MUST By Simplistic Skin Care. 🌞 Claims: SIMPLISTIC'S MUST SUN CREAM IS FORMULATED AT SPF 33 FOR A REASON. UVA/UVB protection at an SPF of at least 30 blocks 97% of the sun's ray and is recommended for daily application. Must Sun Cream is: Silicon free, non-nano, 100% physical barrier 🌞 My Thoughts: Im not too keen over this sunscreen ( personally). There is a white cast to this sunscreen. I noticed a fragrant scent to it as well. If you actually do extra rubbing..the white cast will fade. It’s a good sun cream to have on hand as an emergency for me..but i would not re-purchase. I like it for texture and lack of SPF smell and the light tint, but it doesn't work consistently well under makeup - I think a powder foundation over this as base may be the best way to wear it. Does not make my face itch!

I received this @simplistic_skin sunblock at a discounted price from @0.8l_usa. I was excited to try this since I love the @simplistic_skin supreme salve but it just really did not work for me. The texture is quite weird when first applied, it gets clumpy and hard to spread evenly. The white cast lasts a little bit before the color adjusts. Also it makes me super oily. I tried blotting after, it helps but I’ve definitely had much better sunscreens that don’t leave me that oily. Also my skin itches like crazy for 5-10 mins after application. I’m glad I got a chance to try it but I just haven’t been reaching for this as much

It is gentle with healthier ingredients and can be used as a primer. It claims to have minimal white cast and is silicone free. . ▪️Texture & Scent: The texture is a cream that dispense as a light beige tint. When rubbed into the skin it looks more white. It also feels slightly watery when rubbed giving the skin a damp fresh feel. It has a light fresh floral scent. It doesn’t linger nor does it irritate my skin. . 🤔Reflect & Conclusion: This sun cream claims to have no silicons making it less spreadable than other creams. However, it coats the face evenly. There is a slight white cast that evens out my skin tone. The finish is a semi-matte making it a great primer under makeup. I also enjoyed it alone on no makeup days because it didn’t make my t-zone too oily. . So far this is one of my favorite sunscreens for a cream. First off, I sadly lost this product on my last day at Canyon Point Lake near Payson, AZ. Me and my husband used it to keep sunburn away during that wonderful week where we were hiking, fishing and camping. I'd say it did protect completely however it was scented like a nice perfume, didn't leave any greasy residue, and didn't really spread that well. The pinkish tint to it didn't seem to change any white cast affect, meaning there is still some white cast but after it being on the skin for some time it goes away. So it did what a sunscreen should do i just wish it spread a bit more and that i hadn't lost it.

This doesn’t have the highest protection but it’s a sunscreen & I love the formula & ingredients . . This contains ceramides (protects/heals moisture barrier), polyglumatic acid (fermented soy bean ( #natto in Japan) that moisturizes/conditions), centella asiatica (my fav!), camellia oil, olive oil, licorice (brightening), sodium hyaluronate, chamomile (soothing/calming) and skullcap which is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Skullcap also has the ability to inhibit melanin production which protects the skin against #sundamage . . This SPF has a thicker texture & without the silicone, application is a little more work but it’s worth it! This sunscreen is so hydrating without feeling oily or greasy. I find that this also is soothing, calming and actually decreased some redness. I have a hard time with spf because of my #sensitiveskin but this ones a keeper! I’d highly recommend this for those with combination to very dry skin. I don’t have oily/super oily skin so I can’t speak to how this would work for you but I can tell you that this hasn’t caused any irritation, breakouts or clogged pores. I’d definitely repurchase

The thing I enjoy the most about this product is the light lemongrass fragrance . The fact that this cream uses only safe ingredients , rated green from EWG Skin Deep , is definitely a strong selling point from my perspective. Overall I would definitely recommend this suncream For those with sensitive skin , although I don’t think this product would work for anyone who wasn’t fair to light skinned simply because of the whitish cast left behind .

simplistic sunscreen spf 33 I really liked this sunscreen. its light, absorbs fairly quickly and has a light scent that reminds me of lemon grass or thyme? whatever this light citrusy smell is I like it. this is a good sunscreen but I probably wouldn't repurchase it for the fact that I like to use SPF 50 for my face. There is no bothersome sunscreen smell just a very light, pleasant lemon scent. What I didn’t like was it was extremely hard to apply evenly to my skin. It’s very thick and it will “pill up” really bad if your skin isn’t ultra moisturized and even then it’s very pasty-like and there is a slight white cast. I don’t mind the slight white cast as much as I mind the thickness and the shininess it leaves behind. I do like the gentleness of the ingredients because I have sensitive skin and this has caused no breakouts. So I’ve been on the look out to find more skincare and since I’m so fair I definitely need Sunscreen or the sun will scorch and blister Me. Since I’m Part Irish I don’t really get dark, I mostly burn and just freckle lolz 🤣🤣🤣 Before I applied to review the Simplistic Skin Care Sunscreen Must SPF 33 PA ++ I also seen that this product can also be used as a primer as well! So I was all about signing up to try this out because I just love how primer makes your makeup last so much longer! Not only does it maximize the wear of your makeup but it also minimizes your pores! I must admit I’ve now have an obsession with primer and wonder how I just discovered it not to long ago! I couldn’t wait to get this Sunscreen to try it out. So when I got it I just had to try it out right away, so I moisturized My face and applied My new Simplistic Skin Care Sunscreen and the texture I must say is pretty nice, it’s like a thick creamy moose but you don’t really need to much because it spreads out evenly and absorbs just so amazingly! So basically this 2~in ~1 product was 2 steps in 1 lolz.... So first of all I put it on my eye lids to make my eyeshadow more pigmented and all over my face to make my makeup last all day long and protect me from the sun! I have used this product while going out in the hot sun and I must say that it really works so good! It protects Me from being sun burnt, and it has made my makeup stay in place for the most part all day long! The only exception is that on extremely hot days that I’m sweating really really bad then yes some of makeup is getting rubbed off when I have to wipe my face with a paper towel. When I say really hot that’s just what I mean because we’ve been having Church outside in a tent and it gets pretty hot. Review: @simplistic_skin Sun Cream Must SPF 33 PA++ • • ☀️ Packaging: in a squeeze tube which I like. Very portable and convenient to carry around. • ☀️ Texture/scent: it has a very light and moist consistency. I see a little bit of water beading effects after it was spread out (see 3rd pic). I detected a light citrus/floral scent. • ☀️ Thoughts: Personally, I prefer PA 3 pluses or 4 pluses but I wanted to give this brand a try. They have an interesting claim that “if spf is higher, it put your skin under more stress..” I did a brief search on the interweb but nothing conclusive had shown up to definitively support this claim. Maybe they meant higher spf means the product might consists of more chemicals? 🤔 . Anyway, this sun cream spread easy but very patchy when I used my fingers. So I used a cushion puff and it applied more evenly. But the white cast was so noticeable!! It was like I straight up applied white paint to my face.
