Simplistic Must Sun Cream SPF 33 PA++ is silicon free, non-nano, 100% physical barrier (zinc oxide and titanium oxide)!! Coming from this new luxury indie Korean brand that makes everything natural without harmful ingredients this sounds like the holy grail right? I’ve raved about their Wonder Essence and was really excited about this sunscreen. However when I used it I was super confused at first. I always dab my sunscreen on face and then spread and it just become a goopy blob that doesn’t blend in evenly at all (first video). Then I tried to squeeze into my hands first and rub it to warm up (kinda like your creme de la mer) and voila! It totally worked! (second video) The sun screen is like a light beige color so I think it has a slight cast just not very obvious on my skin tone. My skin even looks a little blurred out and totally helped hiding some of the pore texture. It does take a while to sit in before you can apply makeup, but once it dries down my skin looks so soft and it’s not greasy at all! For those with darker skin tones unfortunately this cast will probably look worse than the Farmacy green screen that I’ve previously reviewed so proceed with caution. But if you have lighter skin tone like mine or just want something super clean and you have a lot of patience, this is it! Also did I mention it also has Centella Asiatica Extract, green tea extract and chamomile extract? I would recommend this product to anyone with light skin.

Simplistic Skincare Sunscreen . . Simplistic Skincare Sunscreen MUST ▫️Claims: SPF 33 physical sunscreen that is silicone-free. Great makeup primer and neutralizes tone without white cast. ▫️It has a floral and sunblock scent ▫️It is a peach/nude color cream ▫️The texture is very thick and felt like I was spreading clay on my skin. Without moisturizer it can be a bit drying. I found it difficult to remove. What stood out most was the white-cast. It made my skin 1-2 shades lighter which ends up looking unnatural unless you put it on your neck and arms. My skin felt sticky/tacky after applying and would not use under makeup. Sadly this product just didn’t meet the expectations I had based on the product descriptions😥

I was delighted to try a simplistic facial sunscreen at a steep discount through 08L. It is the important final step in my skincare routine because a lot of nutrients in my other skincare products need protection from UV rays so they don't oxidize in my skin. Retinol, vitamin a, vitamin c and niacinamide are just a few of such ingredients that you HAVE to use sunscreen over if you are going outside that day. Then there are the more obvious reasons, like avoiding sunburn, skin damage, premature aging and skin cancer. This sunscreen has a great texture, isn't greasy and doesn't break out my acne prone skin. It has a slight tint to it and I mix it with my Benton bb cream snail blemish balm and use that mixture instead of foundation, then top it off with cover girl simply powder when I have to work. The first thing I noticed was that the MUST sunscreen is a little difficult to apply evenly. It applies a little patchy at first and does need to be thoroughly massaged in, which can cause a bit of pilling depending on what you've put on under the sunscreen. Not exactly the type of sunscreen you can apply without a mirror. There's definitely some white cast at first, though it lessens once it settles in. However, after wearing it for a few days I actually love how it feels on the skin. It feels pretty light for a mineral sunscreen and doesn't make my face feel oily. It doesn't rub off easily, and it's not drying. I also really appreciate that Simplistic used clean ingredients and non-nano mineral sunscreen filters, making this sunscreen perfect for sensitive skin. When I had a breakout of perioral dermatitis recently, I really didn't have that many options for a sunscreen that didn't make it worse, and relied heavily on a zinc-based sunscreen. So the more options for a light, non-sticky mineral spf there are, the better. This has SPF33 PA++. I would much prefer PA+++ but when your skin is super sensitive you have to work with what you can tolerate.
