This product was pretty much like every other spf I’ve tried. Nothing amazing about it but also not bad. I’ve worn it for the past 3 months applied every morning even under makeup and it sits nicely. Absorbs thoroughly. Doesn’t make my foundation slide around. It’s nice.

Purchased through #08L app. @simplistic_skin - Must sun cream SPF 33 PA++ This isnt marketed as a tinted cream, however this has a white cast, but the cream doesnt have a white base but rather a skintone like finish. So this can pass as a tinted cream. The beige cast doesn't fully fade away, so it can give you a brightening affect, but it does not color correct or have coverage. However, I personally don't like the scent & texture of this sun cream. It smells very strong sunsceen/natural. It not unscented nor added fragrance. The texture is also thick and has an oily slick to it that is hard to rub in. The finish is a bit dewy too. Def. a sun cream for winter. Overall, beside the clean ingredients I really dislike the formula. I've had since summer and just don't like it. This is a sunscreen from @simplistic_skin that I recently got from @08.l_usa to try our. I really liked their essence, and since I love trying sunscreens I couldn’t pass it up. This is a physical sunscreen, and unfortunately does leave a cast. The actual cream has a slight pinkish tint, however I think it’s mostly just a white cast that it leaves on my face. I thought it was faded after it dried, but it doesn’t. I don’t mind having a white cast for it as I can wear it under makeup easily (the white cast isn’t terrible for me), but this is also a little picky during application. If my face is still damp from skincare the sunscreen doesn’t want to spread easily. It is fine if my skin isn’t damp at all, I just have to remember to wait long enough before application. I will use this up as it’s not bad, but it isn’t a fave. [REVIEW] Simplistic MUST sun cream is a silicon-free, non-nano, 100% physical sunscreen which provides SPF 33 PA ++ protection. This uses zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which are both physical UV filters and much gentler than chemical filters for sensitive skin. This formula also contains notable ingredients such as ceramides, olive oil, as well as centella asiatica, green tea, licorice root and chamomile extracts. . This sun cream comes in a hygienic squeeze tube and is easily dispensed. The cream itself has a light beige colorand a slight scent of lemon. It has a thicker texture which does not spread easily. I usually dab sunscreen all over my face and spread it around evenly but that led to a patchy application. I found that rubbing the sunscreen in my hands then patting it on all over works better for this specific sunscreen. . I’ve been using this sunscreen for days when I’m staying home but working near a sunny window. There is a slight white cast initially, and it takes awhile to fully absorb and dry down but it’s not as noticeable once it sets in. I do like how it wears though. It feels very light on my skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The formula is not drying for my combo skin, esp since it’s been so humid lately. Overall, I do enjoy using this primarily as an indoor sunscreen since I do prefer higher protection if I’ll be outside. Although since it’s a 100% physical sunscreen, I would probably opt for this over a chemical sunscreen when my face is irritated and more sensitive. . . I spend a lot of time harping on friends & family about wearing sun cream even though I distinctly recall a period of my life where I felt I didn't need to wear sun care of any kind as a WOC. As I have gone along though I have become more & more crazy about wearing sun protection especialy when I started using chemical exfoliants & retinoids. Now I don't play not even a bit. I wear sun cream indoors & outdoors despite spending the majority of my time indoors. I reapply when I am going out of doors & definitely before I leave work if the sun is still out. Where am I going with this? I am always looking for new sun creams & so when I saw this one from Simplistic a company I've been digging lately I felt like I should take a chance to test it out. . . . Impression: This cream is a bit on the thicker side of things compared to some of my other favorites like Biore Watery Essence however its also luxuriously hydrating. Its a yellowish red tinge from the iron oxides when its first applied to the skin however with gentle rubbing as you can see in my demo it sinks in with absolutely zero white cast - winning! It also has an incredibly light fragrance that dissipates in about 10 minute of wear. Its almost herbal slightly floral but not the typical scent one associates with sun block or sun cream. And because it is a sun cream its loaded with ingredients that are made for tackling anti-aging & brightness such as broccoli extract, licorice root extract, sodium hyaularonate, & the ever popular & pervasive centella asiactica. I can more that imagine with continued daily use along with their essence that I also reviewed one would probably get a ton of brightening over time. . . As it stands I've had this product for well over a month, but don't use it everyday since I like to spice up my sun protection i.e. I change them daily also depending on what my skin is doing & whether I need a more hydrating product vs a more emollient one. All & all this being my 3rd Simplistic product I'm so glad to have this additional sun cream in my regimen! No white cast, lightweight, emollient,& low fragrance. Personally the only downside I see with this product are: ( 1) Even though SPF 50 only offers 2% more protection I still prefer my sun blocks to have SPF 55 and maximum PA coverage. I just want everything optimized (2) Cost. At $26 for ~1.5 oz I'm not gonna lie its an excessive splurge especially when I consider I own at least 2 other KBeauty sun creams and one Japanese one that clock in at less than 1/2 price with a higher coverage of sun protection . . . Description: 100% physical sunscreen that contains zinc oxide and titanium oxide, which are both EcoCert certified and NON-NANO for your health. All ingredients are rated between 0-2 on EWG Skin Deep Database. In order to minimize white cast, iron oxides (coloring agents) CI 77492 & 77491 are added in the formulation (less than 0.1%, pure iron oxides). I love trying new sunscreens as I am very pale (transparent) and burn easily. However, the Simplistic Sun Cream will not be a daily use for me. It smells great, almost like a citrus fruit. It is very thick and give off a white cast even on me. The white cast goes away pretty much when you rub it in a second time. Overall not impressed.

Must Sun Cream dries matte, which made my skin dull looking. “Not Pretty!” According to a number of dermatologists; the difference of protection level between SPF 30 and 50 is ONLY 1%. On to the claims of this product: ☀️spf 33 PA++ ☀️free from silicone & harmful ingredients ☀️suitable for all skin types including sensitive, made with EWG safe ingredients This is a physical sunscreen that is spf 33. It states that it’s only 1% difference from being spf 50 but puts the skin under less stress. I personally like my sunscreen to be spf 50 PA++++, I feel like that gives my skin more coverage from the suns rays. The sunscreen has a fruity scent but it doesn’t linger. It does have a slight white cast and leaves my looking so SHINY! It looks like I put highlighter all over my face. It also feels a little heavy. Unfortunately, this sun cream is a pass for me. Not enough spf/pa and too shiny for my liking.

Since I'm spending so much time in the sun I wanted to sample different skincare items. This sunscreen from Simplistic is the 2nd 0.8Liter sent to to review. It holds up well even when I'm at the pool or working out. There is unfortunately a white cast that might be a problem for people with darker skin tones. It blends out well but it's still noticeable. SPF33 refers to the level of protection from UVB and PA++ refers to UVA protection. Both levels are considered moderate so you will need to reapply if you're exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time. It's sweatproof and moderately waterproof. Since it's from Simplistic, you can trust that it's completely safe for all skin types. All their products are EWG certified and free from fillers like silicon. The texture is light and it dries without any greasy residue. I also don't notice any annoying sunscreen smell. It dries matte and has a peachy color so it's good under your makeup. I've been using it at the pool underneath a bronzing lotion. I am able to tan without burning this way. I really like this. I found it for $22 on Amazon but mine was just $3.99 in exchange for this honest review. I'm definitely interested in repurchasing this, though. Please meet the most okayest @simplistic_skin product I've use yet. Normally this brand makes things I love love love but this is just an ok from me. I got from @0.8l_usa because I'm always looking for physical sunscreens that don't kill my eyeballs and this one promised that at an spf 33 PA ++ which made me hope that maybe the white cast was going to be mild. And as usual when hopes are high you get something that looks like a strangers foundation coming out 🙈 On my skin this kind of struggles to spread especially if it goes on when all my other products are dry. It kind of breaks into a watery phase and an oily phase unless I massage it in on top of cream. I get a white cast from this and it does like to settle on any fine lines or dry patches so exfoliate 👏🏻 and hydrate 👏🏻. The scent I really like which was one good thing and another is that like most simplistic products the ingredients list is top notch and full of delicious plant extracts. Compared to other physical only sunscreens this is just ok, wouldn't repurchase. I was really excited to try this sunscreen because I had a good experience with the face wash and essence by this brand. The ingredients are safe and non toxic, the filters are physical (which is what I prefer). The product looks tinted out of the tube but doesn’t add any color once applied. . It’s not a bad sunscreen for being all natural, but it’s quite hard to spread. The best way is to apply small amounts over small areas of the face vs trying to spread around a larger blob. I also would have liked a higher SPF and PA. Not bad but not a holy grail.

One of my favorite things to grab on 0.8L are sunscreens. I have sensitive skin and for a long time before I found the abcommunity I would dread every summer when I had to put on sunscreen at the beach and it would sting the sensitive skin around my eyes or sometimes my whole face. Now, I get to test sunscreens with waaaay better ingredients that not only work well with my skin and my current routines but also have great ingredients for my skin as well. Simplistic’s sun cream is a great daily sun screen not only because of power ingredients like olive extract, licorice bark, and centella but because it contains both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide making it a physical block against UVA/UBA. ❤️I’m always happy with any sunscreen that doesn’t make my eyes sting, but the ultimate test for me is always how well it does in water or long periods of time out in direct sunlight. After outdoor conventions, city sight seeing, and a pool party, I was able to come home free of a pink nose or sunburned cheeks. 🤔Like most physical sun blocks there’s a cast that comes with this sun screen that people may not like. On me personally, perhaps because I’m pale, I don’t really notice any cast, even when holding my hands up side by side, but while on face I can tell it makes my overall tone a bit more even, almost like a primer. I wonder if this is due to the face the the cream itself is actually an off white color. 🧐The price mark is $26 which I’d say isn’t cheap but isn’t too steep especially compared to other physical sunscreens. (Most of which I can not use) 💖Overall this sunscreen has not only become one of my faves, but it’s also become one of my favorite products in my whole routine. As this is something I always recommended, I wanted to start a journey to find my #holygrail SPF. • Simplistic Must Sunscreen SPF 33 has been doing the job. This is a physical sunscreen containing zinc oxide, something I prefer in suncreens. Its lightweight, but will leave a subtle cast after application. After a short few minutes, the cast will disappear and I'll start to look glowy. I use the sunscreen as a base pretty much, so my make up applies well. • One factor that does not make this my holy grail, and I noticed I get irratation around my eye lids when I apply it there. I generally like getting full coverage everywhere. So when I'm unable to use it around my eyelids, this product loses points here. I would not repurchase this personally, as I can't get coverage around my eye lids. This is another product I tested from the Simplistic skincare line. The claims on this sunscreen is that it is a simple, daily sunscreen that can be used as a makeup primer and that it is non greasy. Although I have really enjoyed other products from this brand, I did not enjoy this sunscreen. I found that it felt really heavy on the skin, did not sink in, made any makeup products on top of it look really bad and I just simply had terrible makeup days when I work it, along with bring really uncomfortable and having to wear my hair up so that it wouldn't stick to my face. I will say, I started leaving this in my car for emergencies and have actually almost used it up on my arms and legs and it seems to work a little better when there are no other skincare products under it. I also never got burnt using this, even though it is only an SPF 33. One last thing, you have to work really hard to get this blended out, and you can see that in one of the pictures that I posted.
