Mother of Pearl Inlay Wooden Oval Hair Brush with Flower Bird Design is a stylish hairbrush ornamented with a design of mother of pearl bird and flower. The brush itself isn't heavy at all and feels lightweight. The brush has a reddish appearance and a bit shiny. The brush kind of feels hollow like there isn't anything inside but is made well. My mother said that the design parts were the bird and flower is might be made with seashells like oysters and etc. I have seen designs like these on wardrobes and makeup boxes. These items are very expensive. I love the brush and it works well too but I'll use this more as a decoration to put in my mother's collection. I give this brush a 10/10. The heavily embellished surface, as well as the elaborate shape of the container, is a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of Goryeo’s ruling class. It is widely regarded as one of the best examples of Najeon Chilgi made when the art was at its peak. . 💮 Has wooden bristles with little knobs on the ends to massage your scalp. . 💮 I chose the burgundy red lacquered one with a floral design with little ducks! 🦆 This is without a doubt the best hairbrush I’ve ever had in my entire life! I’ve always wanted one of these, because they are utterly beautiful. I wi never go back to a regular one. This is great for me since I have a sensitive scalp, it helps massage it without tearing my hair or scratching my scalp like plastic does. It doesn’t damage the hair shaft like regular ones so it’s safer for thin hair. . 💮 Plus it’s gorgeous!!! I love mother of pearl inlay, it’s so iridescent and shiny! They have black lacquer, a rectangle shape, and about 6 other patterns. I’d like to get more of these soon I hope!! I keep it in the box and bag it came with to keep it safe since I don’t trust my daughter with it. This is a luxury piece of Korean craftsmanship that will last you a lifetime! . Unfortunately this product really disappointed me. I was really expecting a high quality, heavy, luxurious brush, especially for the selling price. That was definitely not what I received. Without a doubt the virus looks nice and has a nice design, but there were definitely problems. It was very light, a lot lighter than expected because I expected heavier high quality materials. It also doesn’t feel luxurious at all, almost like light plastic. The brush itself honestly could not even detangle my hair. I do have curly hair which makes it a little harder to detangle but this brush not only couldn’t brush through it but it was also ripping out my hair and pulling it. It was honestly painful to even try to brush through my hair. And only after a few brushes, one of the wooden pieces came out. This brush might be used as just a decorative piece but it will definitely not be used as an actual brush and I really don’t find it to be worth the price.

I was able to get the Antique Alive Mother Of Pearl Inlay Scalp Massage Hairbrush at a highly discounted price through 0.8L. This brush is absolutely beautiful! It's made with real pearl and has the most beautiful design on it. I love how great it feels while I'm brushing my hair and it really seems to help keep the frizziness under control. The wooden bristles do a fantastic job getting all the tangles out of my hair gently.

I got that brush just paying the $ 3.99 freight so I could try it and give my fair and honest opinion! I loved every bristle of this brush, which besides being beautiful, wonderful still untangles very well along the threads, the sensation is of a capillary massage, will not to stop going through the hair. Loved it and if you have the chance I want to do the collection of brushes !!! ;)

This time my review dedicated to real piece of art - Mother of Pearl Inlay Scalp Massage hair brush by Antique Alive (🇷🇺⤵️) . It was love from the first sight! I knew I have to get this brush but unfortunately missed first trial. However second one was lucky for me, and I got my brush with cranes meaning Eternity (quite sophisticated, isn't it?!). . All Antique Alive brushes made of lacquer wood and individually handcrafted by ancient method with Korean traditional mother of pearl inlay. The arrangement of iridescent design's luster and color made of mother of pearl creates wonderful harmony with black background. The round ended wood bristles with air cushion pad help to massage your scalp smoothly and remove tangles gently. It comes with a nice gift box and pouch. . Nice words but let's be realistic. As to functionality of this brush it is absolutely not working on my type of hair. I believe it will be perfect for thin and straight, or maybe Asian type of hair (very sleek and super straight), but for my curly, sometimes even kinky, normal to dry and tending to tangle hair this kind of brush was unfortunately useless. It couldn't brush well to the deep, it couldn't detangle and smooth without break some of hair. So pity! Be honest I expected something like that and didn't get disappointed. It is a nice bonus to get such a marvelous and also well working brush, however this ornamented beauty in my case lacks of its utility properties. . Conclusion: What can I say guys?! This is probably the most beautiful and unique hair brush I ever had or tried. Truly artisan and so gorgeous! It's a Mother of Pearl Inlay Scalp Massage Hairbrush and the beauty of it is all I really needed to want it. 🛍 The brush is individually handcrafted with unique Korean traditional Mother of Pearl inlay art. The colors used are the iridescent interior lining of shells after grinding and cutting the lining into paper thin slices. I love how they sparkle and shine. 🛍 The brush is lights and the handle is very smooth. The bristles are firm but not hard and I love how the brush slides through my hair and doesn't snag. It comes in a beautiful box with a tan colored bag for safekeeping. 🛍 I was a little sad when the glue didn't stay and the bristle insert came out after the first few uses but with a little of my own craftsmanship I was able to glue it back in. 🗣This is my honest review of the Antique Alive Mother of Pearl Inlay Massaging Hairbrush 👸I chose the rectangular shape with the Arabesque Design that represents "Long Life" It's about 9ish inches long, cushion pad with wooden bristles that have rounded ends for scalp massage. They use the iridescent inner lining from shells to get that lovely color. Thin strips of it is cut with a jig saw by one of the artisans and is lacquered onto the sanded wooden brush. 🐚 The brush feels nice on the scalp but it doesn't detangle well. It doesn't seem to pick up my hair from scalp to root and give a complete brush if my hair is dry. I tried it when my hair was damp and it worked, just ok. I think maybe the bristles are a bit too short? Also, unfortunately, the cushion pad slips out of the brush frame often and has to be pushed back in a lot- something I don't want in an expensive brush. 🤔 My Thoughts: Some pros- its pretty, It came in a nice box and arrived quick. Cons- In my personal opinion, the dust bag it came in was cheap and had major fraying. I was very surprised by the low quality of it. The brush is light, and I don't recall seeing the type of wood being used listed ( correct me if I missed it) The brush I received has some flaws - the inlay is crooked and the left side is scrunched. There is a red mark on the back in the center and underneath the cushion there is a line in the actual wood that stands out like it it doesn't belong. 🐚 Now please, before you think I'm being too picky- I mention these things because of the price! This brush costs 50$ on Amazon and 80$ on their website. I think to be worth that --- these sort of issues should be addressed. If I had paid full price I would have returned this brush. I decided to apply for the hairbrush as it is just so stunning and wanted to see if it worked as well as it looks. Antique Alive makes several varieties of this hairbrush, and I chose the Arabesque Flower design in a black rectangular shape. According to Antique Alive, they use mother of pearl and lacquer craftsmanship, going back to the Korean Goryeo Dynasty (918 AD). Antique Alive uses the iridescent interior of the shells and cuts them into paper-thin slices and the designs are jigsaw cut by artisans. The mother of pearl is set on a smooth wood surface and each piece is set one by one. Once the inlay design is completed, lacquer is applied. This brush was the work of hours of repeated sanding, drying, gluing, ironing and lacquering ~ all by hand! The brush itself are wood bristles in an air cushion pad, which massages and detangles your hair. . . Okay, I AM very impressed by the brush itself. It is a work of art ~ and I love the scroll and flower design, the iridescent MOP and the shiny hard black lacquer finish. The brush is almost 9 inches in length and almost 3 inches at the widest point and I love the weight of it. This came in a lovely box and a cream colored pouch to hold this beautiful brush in. How does it work? Well... here is where I say this is for show. Like my beautiful fan there ~ I would not really use this on my hair. The air cushion pad is not a good type of pad for my fine, straight hair ~ if my hair is tangled or wet, this doesn't really work well. I would not use this when I blow dry my hair either nor brush it out at the end of the day, as I use a lot of styling products. Honestly, I don't know when I would use this! I tried to but the bristles are not fine enough for my hair and they move around a lot. This is beautiful and for those who want a pretty piece, this is worth it. I view this as art and the perfect gift to give to someone who has everything! But not as a hairbrush. Sorry. I do give it a thumbs up as a decorative pretty thing to have on your vanity.
