Looks lovely on my vanity. It is hard to show how iridescent it is when light reflects off of it. There are many different patterns and a couple different colors and styles. It came in a pouch and nice gift box. I totally love the design & the mother of pearl slices arrangement. A very beautiful hair brush! The pictures can't justify how pretty it is. The wooden handle is also sturdy & a good size. It's easy to grip & use. The brush type is detangling scalp massage & it's the type of brush that I normally use, so I'm perfectly happy getting a beautiful version of it 😆 My hair type is straight & fine. The brush works well for detangling my hair after a wash & it feels good on my scalp too. My only complain is (I might be in the minority here) on the gift box & pouch. Such a pale comparison with the brush! The gift box design could be better, especially since it came from Korea whose products have cute & beautiful packagings. I had no problem with the pouch's color, it's a good contrast with the dark color of the box. But the material made it look like some common brush or whatever pouch. This packaging thing is a trivial matter though, sorry for the rant, I just think this beautiful brush deserves better packaging! Overall, (despite the unflattering packaging) this is a beautiful brush that do its functions well. It also has lots of beautiful designs that made me having a hard time choosing at first. These brushes were alllll over the AB community. So naturally I had to snag one and see what the hype is. I mean, in terms of the actual brushing of my hair a brush is a brush. It did its job and didn’t snag my hair. I’m not sure if they just sent a random brush, there was choices but I’m pretty sure I chose a “parrot” one which clearly there are no birds on here. It’s a very pretty brush, looks nice on my vanity. These would make a nice little stocking stuffer for someone. It comes in a nice box and has a little storage bag. Overall, a very pretty brush. I purchased the @antique_alive mother of pearl inlay scalp massage hairbrush at a trial fee from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. On to the claims of this product: 💜individually handcrafted with unique Korean traditional mother of pearl inlay art 💜round ended wood bristles with air cushion help massage scalp & gently removes tangles This is such a beautifully handcrafted brush. The design on the back is raised so you can feel all the detail that went into it. I do wish that the brush itself would have been made out of wood because it just feels like a hollow plastic brush, which I feel cheapens it. The bristles are wood, and it detangles my hair with ease with no pulling/tugging.

This is the second time in reviewing this amazingly beautiful Mother of Pearl Scalp Massage Antique Hairbrush created by Antique Alive! I just can't get enough of these brushes! Not only are they gorgeous, but they also feel so nice as they massage the scalp with the super soft wooden bristles and brush through my fine, thin hair nicely! I'm not sure how well they perform on thicker hair, but the bristles are spaced far enough apart and should be able to brush through any type of hair nicely. If any of my beautiful 0.8L followers have tried this brush please let me know in the comments how well it performed for you 😊 This brute is quite expensive, retailing for around $60 on Amazon. There are many different styles and designs to choose from. I am desperately wanting the butterfly design on a square shaped brush! I got to try this brush in the photo at a discount in exchange for my opinion but as soon as I get a little extra cash I'm defintely old planning on splurging on the butterfly designed brush!

I got the opportunity to try this beautiful inlaid mother of pearl hair brush from Antique Alive for a reduced price through 08L and Im quite glad I did. It is a beautiful piece of quality hand artistry, with sturdy, yet intricate wood construction. The bed is well padded for comfortable use, but it has a bit too much give for my fresh washed, very curly, thick and somewhat tied up hair. Not to worry though, as I generally never brush wet. I reserve brushing for after wide comb detangling and leave in treatment application. When my hair is straightened or in a more relaxed/untangled curl texture this brush feels very luxurious to use. As an heirloom quality personal gift item, it certainly fits the bill. The kind of hair brush you would feel good one day handing down to a daughter or grand daughter, and I can imagine becoming a favorite family treasure in that regard.

This brush is a wooden black square with a mother of pearl lacquered Arabesque design. As for the function of this brush, I found it better than the oval shape brush I received the first time. It works well when my hair is dry due to the bristle being short and thick, it doesn't really brush down to the scalp. 🤫I purchased this hairbrush as a gift to a family member🤫

This is a gorgeous hair brush, it has a very intricate design in mother of pearl with a black background. It has long and strong brush bristles that totally massage your scalp, which turned out to be very calming and relaxing and it does help clean the scalp. It also detangles easy and with no hurtful pull or tug. Aside from the decorative aspect of this brush it is also a very good brush.

Its a detangling scalp massaging brush and it has round ended wood bristles with an air cushion to massage the scalp smoothly and remove tangles gently. There is a hole to help with the resilience of the cushion pad. It's 2.8 inches (7 cm across) and 8.8 inches (22.3 cm long). What I like: this brush is very gentle and removes tangles quite easily. It's also nice to massage the head and scalp with. It's heavy and is very beautiful. It comes in a very nice box in a cloth drawstring bag and is very nice quality. What I don't like: it's a great brush, it's a little difficult to remove hair from. Rating: 8/10

It is more of a piece of beauty to adore and to have laying around in order to start an interesting coversation with. 🌈I recommend this product to someone with very fine, thin hair or to someone who enjoys a beautiful, timeless, colorful piece of beauty.

Wow😍! . . 💮This beautiful Mother of Pearl Hairbrush is handcrafted and individually designed with unique Korean traditional mother of pearl inlay art that has lasted 1,000 years. . . . 💮The round ended bristles are actually wood, they, and the air cushion pad, gently massage the scalp while removing tangles. . . 💮I have very thick, somewhat coarse, hair and every single time I use my rubber brush I can hear it literally breaking as I brush through tangles. It also pulls my hair...a lot. However when I used this brush that did not happen. As you can see in the video it glides right through it effortlessly, with zero breakage. If you look closely at the pic zoomed in on the bristles you can see they are bigger than most brushes. You can also see the wood grain in them. I believe the thicker bristles helps cut down on issues with tangles. . 💭Thoughts: I absolutely love this brush...not only is it gorgeous and looks beautiful sitting on my vanity, but it really works well on my thick hair. If you have a chance to get one, do ! You will not be disappointed.
