Brightening Blue Oil Serum

Wish I would have loved this product. Products from Urang always seem to sell out really quickly, so when I saw there was still a few available during this buy now campaign, I jumped on it. This product seems really great, in concept, but it honestly just felt (and smelled) like I was slathering olive oil all over my face. I didn’t get it, so I passed it on to my mother-in-law, who has ultra-dry skin and will throw any and all oil on her face. She likes it, so I guess there’s a win in here somewhere.

Today I will be reviewing the Urang brightening blue oil serum that I received from 0.8lusa for a small trial fee in exchange for my honest review. Product Details: The key ingredients, alpha-bisabolol, camellia sinensis (green tea) seed oil and chamomilla recutita (German chamomile) flower oil work together to add moisture, and reduce appearance of fine lines, blotchiness, UV-induced erythema hyperpigmentation. My thoughts 💭 Like I’ve said so many times Urang skincare is and will continue to be my holy grail serums and my part of my skincare routine. The brightening blue oil is ment to give the skin intensive brightening and conditioning. I take about 4 drops and start patting it into my skin. Something about the scent of this is so calming I love it. It absorbs in the skin pretty nice and leaving you with a nice natural glow to the skin. After about 2 weeks of using this oil I can definitely see my skin looking more bright and it’s been more hydrated also. I really recommend @urangnatural products. I was given the opportunity to try @urangnatural Brightening Blue Oil Serum at a trial price from @0.8l_usa . . . The brand boasts natural ingredients and this product claims to have an intense brightening effect and conditioning treatment while adding moisture and reducing the appearance of fine lines. . . The oil itself does have a fragrance. It reminds me of herbivore's blue tansy mask but not as strong smelling. The oil absorbs quite fast and gives my skin an instant glow. I usually combine 1 to 2 drops of this with 2 or 3 pumps of their True Rose Repair Essence. I sometimes find it to be too oily for my skin by itself. (I kind of hate the feeling of oil in general so mixing it really helps to make it an enjoyable experience for me) After applying it, my makeup applies must smoother and my skin overall appears to be more even and smooth. On the days that I used this serum, a lot of my coworkers complimented my skin. . . I'm not going to lie, the retail price of this serum is a little high (I'd say its mid to mid high range) but I think the quality of the ingredients really amplifies the effect of the product itself. This is my review for Urang's brightening blue oil serum. It's an organic and natural based company founded by a mother. _______ Product Details This product is organic, it contains no preservative so use this 6 months prior to opening. 🐋Alpha Bisabol - A patented ingredient used for intense brightening 🐋 Green tea seed oil - Known for it's high antioxidant priperties 🐋German chamomile oil - This is the culprit that gives the product its beautiful beautiful hue of blue. It's used to moisturize and brighten the skin also. 🐋Travel friendly since it contains 30ml of products, it may look small but a little bit goes a long way. What I do is mix it with my moisturize (1-2 drops is enough). _______ My thoughts What I adore about this product is the short ingredient list, I have sensitive skin so I appreciate it when companies don't add unnecessary ingredients that don't really matter. It's cruelty-free and natural, if you're into the natural or organic skincare route this brand would be compatible for you. It has a distinct herbal/traditional scent into it, it may bother some people but I kind of enjoy the smell. It's lightweight and absorbs quick, I've been only using this alone with my moisturizer - I removed other brightening products and just used the oil to test its efficacy. In about 2 weeks I found that my hyperpigmentation brightened up and redness was minimize. My face got brighter and lively for the whole 2 weeks I've ben using it. I love this so much. The end. Okay okay just kidding. But in all honesty, I really do love this product. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not the biggest fan of oils. Many tend to clog up my skin or it just feels icky. Doesn't help that some also smell like I just slathered on cooking oil. Not this product. It's made of several several oils including camellia seed oil and chamomile flower oil. The beautiful blue color actually comes from the latter. The great thing about this product is it doesn't just sit there like a layer. It actually sinks in beautifully for soft and smooth skin. It also mixes fantastically with other products like creams and serums. I've been using it with my Stratia Liquid Gold with some fantastic results coming from it. Skin is moisturized and brighter. It may be a placebo effect, but dare I say my irritated spots look more soothed? It also has a wonderful light herbal scent to it. The founder of Urang is actually an aromatherapist, which is probably why all of their products smell amazing. Now that I finally got to try the brand, I'm hooked. Which is why I bought several more of their products when I visited @ohlollybeauty last weekend 😂

I talk about URANG often (pronounced yoo-rang). It's an excellent Korean beauty company. URANG stands for (Ultimate Radiant + Natural Glow). The reason I love them like crazy comes as no surprise. The brand was developed by Jina Lee. Jina is a holistic aromatherapist, which explains why all of the products smell so luxurious! The ingredients are mainly natural, cruelty-free, and vegan, and are safe for any skin type. They do contain essential oils. If you are sensitive to EO or fragrances, my advice is to stay away from this brand. Ingredients in the Brightening Blue Oil Serum are alpha-bisabolol (obtained from the Candeia tree in Brazil), Camellia sinensis (green tea) seed oil, and Chamomilla Recutita (German chamomile) flower oil. The components work together to add moisture, reduce the appearance of fine lines, soothe, and fade hyperpigmentation (those brown sunspots we get). The vibrant blue color comes from the German chamomile. I've used the Brightening Blue Oil Serum for the past 2 weeks. Side note: ideally I would recommend using this for 4-6 weeks for best results. I have a time limit on this review though, so this is more of a 2 week impression. If you abandon any product too soon, you won't see longterm benefits. Just because it doesn't seem like a product isn't working right away, doesn't mean it won't work. I encourage you to test out your products too. Don't give up, girllll! With that said I have found it to be hydrating and soothing. It gives a lovely, subtle glow. I have not really found it to be helpful in fading hyperpigmentation (this is where those 6 weeks should come in). I will continue to use, and you update in the future. It smells so frigg'en good! Smells slightly like oil but in a softer way, with floral notes. The oil is somewhat thick, and is a *very* faint blue, even though it appears to look darker in the bottle. See below for texture. It's not heavy by any means, but it isn't a thin oil, so you feel it more overtop on the skin. I would recommend this for any skin type, to use at night. I prefer the Gold Oil Serum, which I reviewed on the blog a few weeks ago. The gold serum is thinner, smells yummier, hydrates better, and feels lighter on the skin. Dang! I love that oil, baby! To Use: After double cleansing and toner/essence apply before moisturizer. Can be used overtop to help seal the moisture from your skincare routine. Although I prefer this at night, it can be used AM and PM. I will definitely purchase for myself again. Retails for 59.00. Urang Brightening Blue Oil Serum contains alpha-bisabolol for brightening and blends of camellia sinensis seed oil and german chamomile essential oil for moisturizing. You can see the beautiful blue oil through the glass bottle. A little goes a long way, 1 to 2 drops for the whole face, absorbs well into the skin, leaving the skin nice and soft. It can also be used in combination with a toner or moisturizer. I like it as it on it's own, maybe during the winter I'll try adding it to my moisturizer for an extra boost. It has a nice menthol scent to me which i like and it's 99.9% natural ingredients. It's the german chamomile that gives it it's blue hue. Keep it mind the more natural the product is, the less shelf life.

The bottle feels nice to hold with its frosted glass and all! I’ve been adding a couple of drops to my moisturizer at night and my face has been drinking it up! From what I’ve read this oil only has four ingredients and they are all natural! Containing the patented skin brightening ingredients, URANG Brightening Blue Oil Serum has the "blue power" that comes from nature. The color of the oil comes from German chamomile; it is not an artificial color. @urangnatural Brightening Blue Oil Serum I love Urang products and I had the opportunity to try a few of them. This one is more proof that I can't go wrong with products from this brand. This is an all natural face oil serum designed to brighten, heal, and protect skin. It contains camellia, tocopherol and chamomilla recutita which makes it blue.  It has an oily formula that goes on smoothly, smells like heaven-- herbal heaven-- and a little goes a long way. One or two drops cover my entire face, bringing an immediate soothing effect. I have combination skin type so it’s very easy to get too greasy, especially with face oils, but this one feels so lightweight. It moisturizes and hydrates thoroughly and evenly. It brightens without making me feel like I can be seen from the moon, sometimes too much is just too much. Every time I use it I have softest, velvety skin with even toned complexion. There is no new breakouts and pre-existing ones heal faster and seem to be less angry and smaller. What more can I say about this magical blue oil that hasn't already been said? The Urang Brightening Blue Oil Serum is very close to tying with my other favorite blue oil. The Urang oil boasts a super simple IL including alpha-bisabolol which is a potent brightener, chamomile oil ,tocopherol and Camellia seed oil. ___ It's super light, smells fresh, smooths on beautifully and mixes well with my other products. It's light enough for day time too, I never feel oily with this. I find after a few days of using it I notice a brightening effect. I was finally able to snag this lovely blue oil!! Imagine my excitement! I really don't know how these Urang products sell out as quickly as they do on 0.8L, but at least this time I got lucky. This is the Urang Brightening Blue Oil Serum, which has the tiniest ingredients list I've ever seen in a product. Swipe through the photos to see! Even though the list is small, the ingredients are amazing. This oil does have a light herby smell to it which I can't quite place, but it does fade once the product is applied. It does feel like quite a thin, dry oil at first, but once you rub it in it does start to feel slightly thicker. I wouldn't say it absorbs thoroughly into my skin but it does act as a nice barrier at night. If you have oily skin definitely don't use this during the day. My skin does feel soft and smooth in the morning after I use this but I have felt like I have to use a cleanser to get the residue off my skin. I can't say much for the brightening aspect of the cream but it does make my skin feel nicely hydrated, especially with the drier weather coming. Overall I'd say this is a really nice oil to have in your routine and if you can snag it on 0.8L, you definitely should! Regular price is around $60. Urang’s Brightening Blue oil serum has been a great addition to my skincare routine! It has been super moisturizing, I only use around 2 drops over my entire face and I always wake up with glowing skin. The best part about this in my opinion is that it does not make my forehead break out, which oils very often end up doing. The scent is not too overpowering and is almost refreshing and calming as well. I have found that it is definitely lighter than their vitamin oil serum is which has been really nice for these warmer months or to use more often during the daytime. The packaging itself is nice as well. It is not super luxurious but it’s simple and to the point and seems to be good quality overall with thick glass to protect the oil inside. I am really liking this and have genuinely not had a dry day ever since I started using it! I would completely recommend others to try it year round!

I received the Brightening Blue Oil Serum by @urangnatural at a trial fee from @0.8l_usa in exchange for an honest review.  The beautiful blue serum comes in a frosted glass, tear shaped bottle, with a glass dropper. Definitely a beautiful piece that will stand out on your vanity.  Urang is a female-founded Korean brand with gentle but effective products. They're cruelty-free + fragrance-free & produce in small batches for optimal freshness. I was excited to finally try one their products.  The all natural serum has only 4 ingredients - Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Tocopherol (natural vitamin E), (-) alpha-bisabolol, and Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil.  The scent is a very distinctive, a herbal fragrance.  I first tried using the serum with a cleansed face at the end of my PM routine, and  it's  lightweight and absorbed very quickly. My skin felt very fresh and nourished. I also tried adding a couple drops with my moisturizer.  I actually prefer using it with moisturizer.  It  helped even my skin tone and it was noticeably brighter.  I definitely would recommend this product, to brighten and even skintone. The brightening blue oil serum from Urang uses green tea seed oil and German chamomile oil to brighten, heal, and protect skin. You can use it with a serum, cream, or on its own and I found that pairing it with Benton’s snail bee serum worked really well for my skin! It is very lightweight and keeps my skin hydrated all day without looking greasy. I feel like it’s helped to brighten my skin some, but considering my budget I don’t know if I would repurchase this.
