I recently started getting back into oils after having a terrible reaction to another oil product. It's been about 3 weeks since I have introduced Blue Oil Serum into my daily skincare and it's pretty amazing. Bit different from other oil based products I have used. It applies thinly, it's non-greasy, easily absorbed without feeling heavy plus it very soothing on my dry areas. Almost instantly relieves dry patches without feeling like you have a Vaseline on. The oil spreads beautifully which results in glowy skin. . I have been using 3 drops after serum step or if I needed the extra boost I would add 1-2 drops direction into my moisturizer. I also think this product has been helping my skin with hyper-pigmentation. My skin looks less blotchy. . I can't speak for other skin types but if you have dry skin and hate the feeling of oils, this product is probably a near perfect oil for you. One other factor I want to point out, the product retails for hefty price tag of $59.00 but a little goes a long way. After using it for almost 3 weeks my bottle still looks fresh. . I have the brightening blue oil serum in a cute little chubby dropper bottle. This is finally a product from Urang that my skin works with! It is an oil, but it feels almost like a dry oil when I apply it. It doesn’t feel thick and greasy, but feels like it absorbs quickly. Like their other products, the ingredients list seems great but nothing in here seems to be interacting poorly with my skin. Hooray! I have recently been loving oils more and think this is a great one!

And a little about what you will experience with this blue magic on your face. The scent, it's pretty light and herbal, I can't quite tell if it's chamomile so I definitely need a second opinion on that. The texture at first seems thin like a dry oil but then as you massage it around applies like a medium weight oil, plain vitamin e or grapeseed might be a good reference. When you massage it into bare skin it absorbs really well, better than most oils in my experience and that makes me really happy since these ingredients I want as deep in my skin as possible. . . . As for the brightening claims I can't say I noticed very much. But I did find worked well as a standalone massage oil, mixed into other things or used after exfoliating. Overall I would say this is a delicious oil for the face and I would say go for it especially if you like minimal ingredients, no silicones, but it is a pricey oil. I was lucky to snag this off of @0.8l_usa for 3.99 which is waaaay down from the near 60usd it retails for. Another in demand Urang product I was lucky to snag. I was super excited to try this one. The naturally blue oil was definitely different than anything I’ve tried before, and I was intrigued. The scent on this is super strong and reminds me of an herbal tea tree smell. The packaging is simple but nice. The oil itself was a thicker consistency, so for me this is better as a night time serum. It’s been super hot here in Boston, so I may need to save this for cooler months when my skin needs the extra hydration. The oil contains German chamomile, which naturally gives it the blue hue. There’s a slew of other awesome ingredients, and the product is 99.9 percent natural which is awesome! My skin was a lot softer after use. The scent is a little strong but it doesn’t linger. I rubbed 3 drops of the oil in between my hands to warm it up so it could absorb into the skin quicker, but I found that it didn’t absorb into the skin well. It would just sit on the top layer of the skin. I then tried it with 2 drops and still the same thing. Brightening products usually have visible effects on my skin after a month or two of use. What I did notice through my trial week is that this calmed down my skin when I had hormonal breakouts again; It visibly flattened it and reduce the redness. I find this oil to work better for me than the Herbivore Lapis Oil (with it being a fraction of its price!). I was actually planning to repurchase the Lapis oil again during the Sephora sale but I'll probably just continue to use this one instead. #urang Brightening Blue Oil Serum First of all, THIS OIL IS SO PRETTY!! I love the blue! Also, it’s only four ingredients, green tea seed oil, tocopherol (a relative of vitamin E), alpha-bisabolol (the active soothing ingredient in chamomile), and chamomile flower oil to brighten, moisturize, and soothe the skin. This was probably the Urang product that I was most excited about, mostly because of the color. It has the lightest scent out of Urang’s three oil serums and I think it’s probably the most lightweight as well. It absorbs well and doesn’t feel like it’s just sitting on top of my skin. I haven’t used it long enough to see any brightening yet, but I’m planning on continuing to use it. So far I’ve noticed it leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. As with the other Urang products, it’s a little pricey, but it’s such a nice product, I don’t even mind. 4.5/5 Might repurchase once I get my stash under control. What a lovely oil! Not only is it beautiful to look and display (although I store mine in a dark, low-humidity area), the oil has a really nice soothing feel that seems to do a great job at really sinking into my skin. I really enjoy how it doesn't leave my face a greasy mess (just a touch of shine is left after application) but a satin, glowy finish. I haven't been able to use this product long enough to see any brightening effects, but I'm hopeful that I can see some kind of difference with continued use. . .
