I let all three of my children’s use this product. It’s end though that my 9 year old got the most out of it. He got pretty far and wants to complete it soon. He thoroughly enjoyed the game and had fun making his own.

I purchased the Cubico kids coding game for my kids to get a start on learning how to code. I found that it made coding seem easy to the children, like playing a game, but a very thought provoking one. They loved how they were able to see the game played out by the codes that they created. This is a wonderful gift to enhance your kids critical thinking.

Guys, I have to let you know that this device is amazing. I was in robotics club growing up so I’m so excited to get to share something like this with my family. It’s fits into the modern world, combining hands on learning with the fun of virtual reality. It really grabs the attention of children this way. It’s super easy to set up. It took just a few seconds for the app to connect to the Bluetooth of the little board thing. The levels start off pretty simple, but there is still some problem solving and critical thinking to understanding the system the first couple rounds. This is nothing too difficult or off putting. It’s just about using your brain to understand the coding. The levels increase in difficulty, adding new coding along the way. There are some cute animations to show the kids how to work out what’s coming up in the next level. AND, they get to watch their character get stuck on a level and mess around with the coding items and order to find a way to get the character to the end of the level. You can even personalize the character! Overall I think it’s a really great game and I’d love to see even more levels. You can see in the photos some of the set up and the levels that we got through. Overall, this is an amazing toy that I would definitely recommend to getting any child into the coding realm.

Is it too early to start thinking about Christmas Gifts? I kept seeing this Cubico Kids Coding game pop up on 0.8l for review purposes so I snagged it with the sole intent of giving it as a Christmas gift to my boyfriend's niece and nephew. In this review I will only be telling you what the product is, after Christmas maybe I'll update it and tell you if it was a hit or miss. ⁣ ⁣ I personally love toys that provide an educational value at the same time, that's what drew me to this product. It teaches computer coding to children in 20 different stages and was developed by coding and early childhood education experts. Cubico uses an interactive AR (downloadable on Android or iOS) and storytelling to help learn the basic concepts of coding and improves an active computational thinking ability. They also get to build their own character and customize it however they choose.⁣ ⁣ I personally like the fact that the game isn't just on a device, but comes with physical and visual aids that kids can touch and feel to help them learn. A lot of the reviews I read on this spoke about how much the parents enjoyed playing this with their children and it has a 4.6 star review. I am truly hoping the kids I got this for end up enjoying it. If any of you decide you would be interested in something like this I saw them on Amazon and eBay as well. I’ve been eyeing this item for a while and I am so glad I purchased it! My son is in loving with creating games and coding is something that I’ve always wanted to introduce him to! He loves it! It’s very kid friendly even my 3 year old could work it out with little help!

I bought this to try for the two boys I babysit. They both didn't like it. They played with it for maybe 5 minutes and told me its boring. So, if your kid's get bored easily this is not for you and your kid's.

Research indicates that on average 2 months of reading skills and 2 1/2 months of math skills are lost over a single summer. Plus, summer learning loss is cumulative, so those lost months add up over time. I was really excited to find such a fun, interactive educational coding game called Cubico (available on Amazon) to play together with the kids. Cubico is an augmented reality coding game which comes with a free app to download, which is available for both Android and iOS. There are 5 different levels available in this game, so it is appropriate for a wide variety of ages and will grow with them as they age and develop. This is not only great to help encourage critical thinking, problem solving and computing skills, but it will also help ready children to be able to use their tablets and computers as they will in school (also great because kids already love using these devices anyway!!) I really like this game because it allows me to spend time with my children in a fun way that also helps them learn, use behaviors like coding, computing, sequencing, looping, conditioning, etc. It is fun because in the game you get to help your character (which your child is able to make and customize their hair color, skin color and female/male) navigate a series of different paths by selecting what action you want your character to take by putting the action cubes into the tray. You can also map these actions out ahead of time with cardboard action cubes and talk about what would happen together. This is such a great opportunity for parents and their children to work during the summer and school year to have fun together and incorporate their learning into the home. I received the Cubico KIDS' CODING by @cubico_official for a trial fee from @0.8l_usa in exchange for an honest review.• 🤖 Cubico is a learning tool specialized for young children from Preschool to Elementary school levels. Cubico is a hands-on customized coding educational toy, that captivates children's interest to make them eager to study on their own. With Cubico, children can learn from a beginner level to an advanced level of coding, using recognizable physical and illustrative visual aids, and improve and progress their application abilities.• 🤖The box would catch any child's eye with the bright, colorful and cute characters. First, you need to download the app, which was very easy.  Then we learned each of the components, names, and function. Then you let your child customize a character, and we then played around with the pieces, placed coding blocks on the coding tray, and placed the stage boards in order. I allowed her to just play around with the pieces to become more familiar with them. We are still learning, and have really enjoyed the stories. Watching her work to solve each mission is very rewarding. I will be elated to see her advance to each level. My kids had so much fun with this game. They would not stop playing until they reached level 18. This game taught them to think ahead and pay attention to what happens next. It is a good game that makes them really think.

Cubico Kids Coding is quite an extensive educational learning system. The box comes with a device that is to be used along with a tablet or phone for interactive learning. It comes with books, block pieces, and cards that coincide with the stages for each party of the game. The contents of the box are colorful and cartoon-like to appeal to children ages four and up. Your child creates a character and then navigates through the stages and the characters movements are controlled by your child depending on which directional pieces they enter into the device. The books and cards go along with the stages. Stage one is very easy and with each stage the game becomes more difficult and your child will need to learn problem solving skills in order to pass to the next level. Set up was relatively easy although we did come across a minor issue when we first began. The larger tablet we have at home with is a google nexxus would not pair with the device even though it met the minimum system requirements. We tried it again on a different tablet which was a Samsung and it connected instantly. The app was easy to locate and install. My son was very enthusiastic about playing the game. He got through stage one like a breeze and by stage two it had actually clicked that what was on the screen is being controlled by his responses. Overall I feel this is a very useful learning system that stimulates an educational and fun experience for a toddler. I do however wish that the app was a little more vocal in terms of instruction. when I first saw this In thought it was a learning game for babies, i guess i should have read the product description more lol. my baby is too young for this so my 8 year old decided to give it a try but she wasn't very interested so we havent figured out. i think is a cool thing for kids that into things like coding n computer, i guess mine isn't so ill just save it for when my baby is old enough to use it and hopefully she'll get into it

My daughter will occasionally babysit and thought that this interactive game used in conjunction with a cell phone app would be fun for kids to learn the relationship between command and action. There's fun music, animated characters and an instructional book and cards starting from easy lessons and dialing it up in difficulty. I received this at a discounted price for an honest review. This is an awesome game to introduce children to coding; you need to download an app to use its full functionality. It comes with instructions on how to use it. My nephew is 5 years old and absorbs new things like a sponge. He absolutely loves this and plays every day. It’s got 5 levels of learning as the child progresses. There’s even an AR function. It comes with fun video clips, and precode using the cubico marker and paper coding chips. I wish I had a game like this when I was growing up...

UPDATE: My cousin's 4-year-old daughter absolutely is having a blast with this. At first, it doesn't need to be hooked up to any electronics and she was able to match the cards herself, which gave her mom a nice little break. The next great part is an app that comes with it that works with Apple and Android and Bluetooth. The app goes thru different levels as the child learns more. It literally is like an educational video game. I think this is a fantastic idea and is great for all ages. I have read other reviews where 10-14-year-olds are loving the app. The price is a little steep at $120 but I think it would be a great birthday or holiday present. Mom gets time to herself, the child is having fun and learning, in my book you can not go wrong with that. This is a very interesting game for kids, you must install an app to use it tho. It comes with instructions on how to use it. My son is 6 years old, he loves being able to learn new things. He has been playing with this on a daily basis, he has learned a lot from the coding game. It’s got 5 levels that you can learn plus a Augmented Reality to go with it!! What a great toy! Really fun and interactive with cute and cool graphics. My 4 year old was immediately intrigued and loves to play with this. The Cubico Kids Coding is educational and makes me happy as a parent that the toy is so engaging. It keeps him busy while learning valuable coding. Cubico encourages problem solving and expands thinking. I would recommend to all parents!
