So, I really like @atopalm products. It’s a brand I discovered when I started this account. This cleansing balm is no exception. . The texture is really silky once the balm melts into an oil. The original texture (as you can see in the photos looks gritty, almost like there s some kind of exfoliant in it. . So far, it has removed makeup pretty decently. The scent is really light and fresh. This will probably be really good for people with dry skin like mine. Will it replace my current cleansing oil favorites? Probably not (although I didn’t have enough time with this to tell you). I can tell you that I usually dislike cleansing balms as I find them, well, too balmy. They usually take too much effort to rinse off IMO. I like this one tho. 💜💜💜💜 hearts from me! . . . @atopalmusa is my favorite skincare brand. When I saw the Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm at @08literusa, I had to get it. I really want try what's different between the cleansing oil and oil balm. Product claim: The cleansing oil balm remove all the dirt and makeup while it's moistuzing and protect the skin barrier. It contains the MLE Skin Barrier Formula, with Allantoin, Madecassoside, and Panthenol to calm and smoothe the skin. The formula is infused with Vitamin E, Safflower Seed Oil, Shea butter, and Olive Oil. And it contains natural oil without silicone and mineral oil. #REVIEW . 🌲Texture and Scent: It's balm texture. But when I add little water in, it turns milky liquid form. The balm has hint of menthol scent. It's not that strong, but might be bother to someone who is sensitive with the scent. . 🧖‍♀️ Performing: it's a gentle face cleansing balm that remove light makeup and dirt well. It didn't leave any residue. My skin felt soft and clean. I like it's in a tube and easy to carry around . 📑Overall: it's nice friendly and gentle cleansing oil balm can be use as double cleanse or first cleanse. If I use heavy and waterproof eyeliners, I have to use twice to remove all the waterproof makeup. It does the work well. The only thing that bother me is the scent. I picked up the Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm through @08liter. What I find most enticing about this cleansing balm is surprisingly the packaging. While it's not particularly sexy, I love that it comes in a tube instead of a tub. I actually don't think I've seen that anywhere else. Functionally the balm works just fine, though I haven't used it for eye makeup removal yet. I really like the texture - it's less buttery than the Elemis cleansing balm but moreso than Clinique's contender. It emulsifies very well but can be a little drying if not completely removed. The least enticing part of the experience is the smell, which deeply resembles the smell of burning plastic. I feel torn because I appreciate the lack of sensitizing fragrance but am compelled to hold my breath while using it, in fact the smell is so bad it sometimes completely deters me from using it at all. Thank you .08L & Real Barrier for sending me their Cleansing Oil Balm! 🥰 This balm comes in a squeeze tube and retails for $23. It’s 3 step formula is supposed to wipe off make up with up with ease. 🥰 Now I usually use the Clinique Take The Day Off so this is what I’m to compare it to. I love the fact that it comes in a tube. It’s a lot more sanitary and convenient this way. As you squeeze it out it has a thick consistency but immediately melts into the skin. The weird thing is it also felt a little chunky. I find this applies best to dry skin like the Clinique one. It takes off make up really well but I find there is still a little bit left behind. It’s good but not as good as Clinique. It has a slight citrus smell and it also stings the eyes very slightly. For all of this I will continue to use it I run out of other options but I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s really good but I have better options.

Unlike other Atopalm products, it’s hard to tell if the MLE is doing much, especially since it’s a cleanser and you are washing it away instead of letting the formula sink into your face. But the fact that your face doesn’t feel dry must mean that it’s doing its job! I also like that it’s in a tube instead of your usual tub, so I’m not having to wash an additional spatula every single time I use it. Following the directions, I put cleansing oil on my hand and rub my hands together a little, then I massage it over my face and neck, for about 2 minutes, as I massage my face I noticed it felt like there were little pieces of grain or something in it which felt good, feel like I was exfoliating also.. slowly I added warm water and kept massaging, as I did this the oil became a milky white foam. While using it my skin felt soft and hydrated no stickiness. I massaged gently until my face, including the eye area, and my neck, appeared clean and all makeup was gone. I rinsed my face, first with a small amount of warm water, then with cold water, like I always do. Cold water helps shrink pores and helps them appear smaller, also helps wrinkles appear more slowly.(something my grandmother taught me when I was eight, she live to be a 105, with very few wrinkles) my face appeared very clean. To test it, I used another cleanser on one little area,& there was nothing to clean or remove, my face was already extremely clean. I felt no dryness or tightening of the skin, my face was soft and supple very hydrated I had no problems with irritations. the cleanser worked so well I did not need to scrub hard, or cleanse my face twice. It removed makeup, impurities, debris, and dust from my face very gently. I usually use the double cleansing method with oil followed with a foam cleanser, it is like I did both cleansings at once. I would repurchase this cleanser, and highly recommended to my friends. It is an excellent facial product.

This year I’ve been focusing on keeping my moisture barrier at a happy and healthy level and learning how to maintain my skin’s smoothness. I’ve been really selective when adding new products into my #skincareroutine, because I’ve tried too many items that didn’t suite my skin type. I turned to #atopalmUSA / #RealBarrier a lot this year because the few items I tried have been a good match for my #sensitiveskin. It’s fitting that my LAST minirvw of 2018 belongs to this Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm that I purchased on @0.8liter_usa during a special Try Now for $3.99. It goes for $24 on the ATOPalm website but is currently on sale for $19.20. Here goes… . CLAIMS: Cleanses the face of any residues and surface impurities. It is supposed to soothe, calm and moisturize as well. . INGREDIENTS: (Swipe to see full list on packaging). NOTABLES: Bergamot, Marjoram and Chamomile oils, as well as Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Safflower Seed Oil and vitamin E. . THOUGHTS: It’s been hard to find an oil cleanser that doesn’t block my pores or irritate my skin. I was drawn to this particular one because it doesn’t use mineral oil, which I’ve found to be one of my skin’s triggers. Other first cleansers with mineral oil irritate the skin around my eyes and make it red and itchy. . This one is interesting because it comes out of the tube like a balm (slightly thinner than petroleum jelly) and transforms into a milky consistency when emulsified with water. It washes off cleanly (no oily residue) and dries to a smooth powdery finish. . It has a distinctive scent of bitter citrus fruit, almost like calamansi (shout out to my Filipino/a’s) or kumquats. I think this is attributed to the Litsea Cubeba Fruit oil which has a scent that’s like a cross between an orange and lemon with hints of spice. I’ve been loving lemon scented products lately! . I used it all week (at night) to take off makeup and it’s been effective. It even did a decent job at taking off Kissme Heroine Make Long and Curl Waterproof mascara in one pass! . A paraben free, truly moisturizing, CLEANSING OIL BALM that when applied to the skin, transforms itself from a balm to a milky white cleanser. Upon application to the skin it almost melts, then turns milky white and thoroughly cleanses the face of makeup residue and surface impurities. It is easily washable and rinses clean. Because it contains the MLE Skin Barrier Formula, with Madecassoside, Allantoin and Panthenol to soothe and calm, patented Ceramides and also natural oils, it leaves a moisturizing protective barrier and the skin feels as if it was just treated to a hydrating pack. This product was formulated without silicone and mineral oil. It does contain a 100% naturally derived blend of Bergamot Oil, Marjoram Oil and Chamomile Oil which were added to help refresh. To thoroughly cleanse, the formula is also infused with Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Safflower Seed Oil and also Vitamin E to help protect against environmental stresses. All of this goodness is housed in a lightweight, easy-to-use tube with a cap that helps keep the product free from outside contaminants. Been using this bad boy for almost two weeks now and I wanted another tube soon! I even put this around my eye area and never irritated my eyes. It goes on smoothly and melts like oil. I recieved the Atopalm Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm for a small fee from #08l in exchange for an honest review. I have been using it for a week now and have formed an opinion. It feels a bit heavy and greasy when you first apply it. It is a whitish gel that feels a bit like Vaseline. It has a very nice light citrus scent. It's important to me that my skin cleansers do not hurt my eyes. I'm able to use this on my eye area with no irritation at all. It turns into a creamy white foam when water is added. I massage it into my skin and remove with a Miracle Cloth. It removes easily taking my makeup, sunscreen, and oils with it. There is no oily feeling residue. It rinses clean leaving my face soft and clean. This is a good oil cleanser for winter. My skin enjoys the extra hydration. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to try this one.

real barriers cleansing oil balm purchased on 08L app for $3.99 This is a disappointing product. I normally love everything real barrier makes but the cleansing oil balm doesn't clean well. It doesn't leave an oily film but it doesn't removal my makeup. it also broke me out two times, because I wasnt used to it not fully cleaning my makeup, had to use a stronger foam cleanser to counter this. I also dont like the scent. the texture is weird, a lumpy oily balm. it sometimes squeezes pure oil and sometimes it a balm. so there isna textural issue. disappointed.
