With the make up I was wearing, I needed a good cleanser since I was low on supply. With a non-existent routine, I decided to add a new step. I tried the @atopalmusa Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm and I’m enjoying it so far. It goes on thick, will sud up once rubbed together and removes make up fairly well. I used to have mascara residue after my normal cleanser but this takes everything off. I actually really like the balm texture and great for traveling as I don’t have to worry about it getting all over my stuff. It doesn’t make my face feel dry after cleaning my face, but I’m very excited to try this long term.

Atopalm Real Barrier Oil Cleansing Balm Oil cleansing is one of the most vital parts of keeping your face clean from any debris and makeup that accumulated throughout the day. It removes oil-based impurities and makeup that is difficult to remove with a regular cleanser. I like to use oil-cleansers that won't strip my skin off my natural oils and oils that will not break me out. I also look for oil cleansers that are safe for sensitive skin. Luckily, I was able to snag one of these goodies before it ran out. This is a paraben free, truly moisturizing, CLEANSING OIL BALM that when applied to the skin, transforms itself from a balm to a milky white. It is formulated with the MLE Skin Barrier Formula to soothe skin with panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin. It is also silicon-free which I'm happy to read about. SADLY (Unfortunately) this contains bergamot oil which is an ingredient that I'm quite iffy about so I'm not too happy about it being in the formula since the cleanser is suppose to be for sensitive skin. Not only does it clean the face, it moisturizes your face with shea butter, olive oil, vitamin E, and Safflower seed oil. I don't wear makeup so I cant review about it's effectiveness on how it removes makeup. It did clean my face thoroughly without being too harsh. I swiped a cotton pad after double cleansing and no residue was found on the cotton so I believe this cleanser did a great job doing what it's suppose to do. A cleansing balm in tube? YES PLEASE! I'm so happy with @realbarrier cleansing balm, it's so much more hygienic than the tubs and so much more travel friendly. This is ideally made for dry, sensitive skin, but I still wanted to try it out since I liked that it came in a tube. It has a citrus scent, which isn't strong. Although I use this in my double cleansing routine, it does so effectively without any greasy residue.

Real Barrier's Cleansing Oil Balm is a try for a honest review. I do like Real Barrier's products and this is a good one also. It does have a light scent to it, not much. This is a wash-off type cleansing oil balm that features an unique 3-step transforming formula. (Balm, Milk and Moisturizing) STEP 1. Upon rolling, the soft oil in balm formula melts on the skin and captures makeup build-up and daily grime on the skin. STEP 2. The balm transforms into a milky texture that is easily washable with water and washes away the dirt. STEP 3. The MLE skin barrier formula and natural oils create a moisturizing protective barrier over the skin and leave the skin feeling hydrated from within as if the skin was just treated with a special moisturizing pack. This product does work as it says it does. You put it on and spread it all over your face. Then put warm water on to rinse it off. Your skin feels moisturized afterwards. It didn't feel oily before or after. My skin felt clean and smooth.

Hey 2019 🍾 Starting off the new year with a fresh start- and that meant crawling home at 1:30AM last night NOT wanting to do a routine. But my NYE makeup included glitter, so that needed to get off my face before I got some rest. I'd been testing this for a week or two, so I eagerly snagged my tube of the Atopalm Cleansing Oil Balm, and let it do its magic. - The texture is quite rich, and when it gets cold (my bathroom has single-pane windows) I can feel more texture build up in the product, which gives it a touch of grit, but only the slightest amount, and it quickly smoothes out into a yummy thick balm. This stuff gets sh*t DONE. Full face of makeup? Gone. Sunscreen? Off in a flash. This is truly an excellent first step cleanser. I especially love how balmy it is- using it is a true pleasure. Working it across my skin, then feeling it dissolve into a light milk once it emulsifies, is such a nice little luxury. Post- cleansing my skin feels so velvety, not at all stripped or irritated. I do always follow up with a foaming cleanser, but that nice happy-skin feeling is still there. This is my first time trying an oil balm and I have to say it is way better than I thought it would be. Because it’s an oil I thought it would be greasy and unpleasant, but my skin was just so smooth and clean. You can see the that a great amount of makeup was left on the cotton ball with the first swipe. I didn’t have to use much to remove my makeup and the results are amazing. I love how gentle it is and I would definitely make this oil balm a part of my beauty regimen.

I love this cleanser!! It removes my makeup and doesnt leave my skin feeling tight or dry. It contains amazing ingredients and really is perfect, especially for my combo dry skin in the winter. I would most definitely recommend this product and repurchase it. It has a slight essential oil smell but not overpowering at all. I think any skin type could use and love this cleanser and I would check it out!

I love the ritual of double cleansing and my absolute favorite first cleanse for 2018 is this Real Barrier Cleansing Oil Balm. Made for dry and sensitive skin. This balmy texture has a beautiful citrus scent. Formulated with no silicones or mineral oil. It is made with 100% natural oil blend containing marjoram, chamomile, and bergamot oils. From the moment that I put this on my face I knew it was special. This balm just melts perfectly into the skin and dissolves all of the dirt and grime of the day! It removes any stubborn makeup and sunscreen that you have on as well. I use a small amount and massage it into my skin and it melts into oil. I then take a little bit of water and rub it in and it becomes a nice milky texture. I like to keep massaging it a little bit more before rinsing to a perfectly clean face that feels so moisturized. You do not feel any residue left over after using it either. I've been pairing this with my simplistic skin cleanser and my face feels like baby skin. I had just ran out of my other balm cleansing oil and was very happy to receive this item. I like to double cleanse even without makeup on and this one isn't harsh whatsoever so my skin doesn't end up feeling stripped. I did wear some mascara and tinted brow gel while testing this and it completely took off my mascara unlike most of my cleansing oils, I typically have to go in with cotton swabs to clean up the base of my lashes but not with this balm. Its not a very hard balm, thankfully because it comes in a squeeze tube, spreads nicely, has a slight citrus scent and leaves my face feeling clean but comfortable after double cleansing. Overall been really loving any product I've tested from this brand.

Real Barrier's Cleansing Oil Balm is something I picked up for travel since I'm scared my liquid cleansing oils will leak. It's a bit more liquid than the potted balms we're used to and, weirdly, it's kind of grainy at first touch. I tested it on some strong liquid eyeliner here and it budged with some rubbing but I don't think this is the one for heavy makeup days. Luckily it works just fine for sunscreen-only days, not drying me out too much in the process. It's got a fresh smell that doesn't bug me and doesn't linger on my skin. I like it!
