Its a watery oil that absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave an oily or sticky residue. It hydrates my dry skin. Works well under makeup. Gives your skin a nice glow. Since it absorbs quickly, I only apply to half my face at a time. You need to quickly massage over skin before it soaks up. I add it with my moisturizer which helps me get an even layer on my skin. I recommend trying this if you have dry or sensitive skin. This watery oil is so good!

Today I’m going to be reviewing a new skincare product from Klairs called their fundamental watery oil drop that I received for the discounted price of 3.99 from 0.8 liter. This product contains several antioxidants including an oriental tea complex, ferment filtrate, and peptides. This product is a clear watery serum that is thicker than water but less so than oil. This serum is designed to provide you with deep hydration, has anti-aging properties, and provide you with a dewy complexion. I have oily skin that can sometimes become too oily if I use heavy, moisturizing products but lately my skin has been a little dry. I’ve been using this for almost two weeks and have noticed that my skin has been plumper and more moisturized. I have also noticed that this product instantly adds a beautiful glow to my skin. I only have to use three drops for my skin to be sufficiently hydrated. Did I mention this product has no scent, is vegan friendly, and cruelty free? This product does leave a slightly tacky feeling on my skin but it goes away I can’t yet comment on efficacy of the anti-aging properties in this serum but the ingredients are promising. Overall I rate this 5.0/5.0 and would repurchase as it is effective for moisturizing my oily skin without being too rich and for adding an instant dewy glow to my skin. Back to the klairs fundamental watery oil drop (which I bought off @0.8l_usa) is a water based serum which does have an oily finish. A good comparison to final texture would be to biphase serums where you shake them up, but this one has it all mixed up for quick use. And the ingredients are 👌🏻 Here are the stars: . - Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water (Green Tea)  - Ferment Extracts - Ceramide  - Peptides - Rice, Kelp Extracts  - Sodium Hyaluronate . . It's also pretty gentle, no fragrance, and I don't really detect much of a scent. Since I have dry skin this absorbs amazingly, even with some toner layers. It might be a little rich if you have oily skin, but imo it's not that heavy. Even with a hot humid summer this was pretty fabulous, but I will admit this is probably best in dry and cold weather. Now the price is a little at 31, but that is pretty mid range when compared to serums on the beauty spectrum and it is in a nice glass 50ml bottle. Klairs fundamental watery oil drop is designed for people who want to reap the benefits of facial oil (hydration, glow, etc) without an oily or greasy feeling. The light texture and no scent make it very pleasant to use. The oil is full of beneficial ingredients - green tea, peptides, ceramides. I’ve been using it in our current heat waves and loving the hydration it provides. I mostly use it at night, but will be adding it to my morning routine in the fall and winter months. But after reading the ingredients I didn’t see any oils listed in this formula and read it’s considered an “oil like” serum. It comes packaged in a nice glass dropper style bottle. I can see why they call it an oil like serum, it’s clear like water and the texture is watery and runny but yet there is way more than just water in this formula working its magic. It leaves a natural looking, glowy sheen behind after it sinks into my skin, which is fast. There is a slight feeling left behind, but yet it’s still lightweight, and it’s not sticky or tackiness, it actually feels more like a layer of hydration that hangs around until I wash my face at the end of the day. And there is no detectable scent, which is a huge plus. I really like this “watery” serum even though I thought it was a facial oil at first. I received the @dear_klairs Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop from @08l_usa for $3.99 for my honest opinion. This is a water based serum with the rich hydration of a face oil. This watery oil is rich in antioxidants, gives you deep hydration and a glowy complexion. It is cruelty free and vegan friendly. This watery oil is a very interesting product. It feels lighter than an essence but no where near as heavy as an oil. It didn’t have that sticky oily feel but it did make my skin very moisturized and soft. I spoke to a girl about another Klairs product that she felt would’ve been more user friendly if it were in a spray bottle. I honestly think this product would be easier to apply as a face mist. I used this in my daytime skin routine after my toner but before my moisturizer because even though I have oily skin, it didn’t make my skin feel oily, just hydrated. This product retails for $31 and so far, I really like it!

First I want to say thank you for the opportunity to review this product. I really like this product a lot. Its called a watery oil drop, the consistency is runny with a slick feeling and is very moisturizing. It contains so many moisturizing ingredients. I have used a couple of products from Klairs and love them all. I use this before my serums and sometimes after, it works either way. I leaves a nice gooey look to the skin. I want to try more products by Klairs because I have not been disappointed. 10/10

I am always excited to try ANY product from Klairs, because every product I have tried combines really effective ingredients with a reasonable price point. I wasn't really sure what to make of the Fundamental Watery Oil Drop at first. It's unlike any other product I have tried, combining properties of a serum, oil and essence. The consistency is not somewhat watery but also viscous without being slimy. It spreads over the skin well and absorbs quickly. It only takes a couple drops to cover the face, which means this large size bottle will last months for me! It claims to be perfect for light summer skin care, and I would agree. It did a great job of hydrating my skin, both when I used it as an essence or serum and when I tried applying it at the end of my regimen like an oil. The ingredients include Jeju green tea water and rice extract, camelia synensis water and extract, rice ferment extract, kelp extract, bifida ferment extract and ceramides. I must say that this was a product that puzzled me - it was labelled neither as an essence or serum. So what exactly is this and which step of my routine should it come in? Upon reading the ‘directions for use’, it dawned on me that this was somewhat like a serum! The Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop is a water-based serum with the rich hydration of a facial oil. This product aims to restore moisture deep into skin and provide anti-aging effect. It has no scent or colour and absorbs nicely into my skin, keeping it hydrated and glowing even though I am constantly in air conditioned room five days a week. It also definitely helps to reduce redness and irritation to the skin. This product comes in at a steep price at S$30+. Most of my products are under S$20. However, this product does work. So I am hoping that Klairs will expand this line further. Excited to see what’s next to come for this line!

Sometimes I would add it to my moisturizer and found you get a little extra time for application. It feels like a dry oil on the skin but slightly watery. It is very hard to explain its texture. All in all, I enjoy using this and my skin really looks hydrated without an oily appearance. It has zero smell which is a big plus for me. Yes, you are not hallucinating. This is not a drill. I am actually posting about the new Dear Klairs fundamental watery oil drop which I got at 0.8l at a deeply discounted price. This comes in a 50 ml glass dropper bottle.  The product itself is clear and to my nose, it has no detectable scent. The consistency is not outright watery but neither is it viscous. Kinda in between. It spreads easily and absorbs readily. It doesn't feel greasy at all. It surprised me since I  thought this was an oil based product. Perusing the ingredients list did not show any oil. It has camelia synensis lead water and extract, rice extract and rice ferment extract, bifida ferment extract and ceramides (although that is lower in the ingredients list but is is there. I figured that the product name is implying that this is an alternative to a facial oil. Meant to give you the same benefits without being an actual oil. I like this product well enough. I found it hydrated my skin well and felt it to be nourishing too. I used this twice a day and felt this was a welcome addition to my routine. This is $31 at Wishtrend.  I find this affordable and would likely purchase this in the future.

The directions are in both English and Korean on the box and the bottle.  The consistency of the watery oil is exactly that, watery oil. The serum is clear in color, does not have a scent, and there is no sticky residue. The shelf life for this is 12 months from the date of opening it.  You can purchase a 50ml bottle of KLAIRS Fundamental Watery Oil Drop for $31.00. MY THOUGHTS:  The directions say to use 2-3 drops daily, but I had to use more like 5-6 drops to cover my entire face and neck.  My skin absorbed this serum quickly and it did not leave a sticky residue. Even though this has oil in the name, it is not oily at all.  It is lightweight, feels hydrating on my skin, makes my face look nice and plump, and gives me a beautiful glow. From my diet and water intake, to my skincare and makeup, I struggle replacing what my skin lacks. I literally just wrote an entire review and the app didn’t save it :( it’s been awhile since I reviewed but I had to scoop up this Klairs Watery Oil Drop essence. This is definitely more of an essence than a serum as it’s very watery. It doesn’t have much of a scent. It soaks into skin well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. It contains great ingredients such as rice extract, peptides, ceramides, kelp extract, and green tea. It comes housed in a glass dropper bottle. About 2-4 drops cover your entire face, so this will last awhile. It hydrated my face well, and it felt softer after using. It’s probably better for dry or normal skin as it may be oily for others. Whenever I see @dear_klairs on @0.8l_usa I always jump at the chance to try a new product from them. Today’s review is of the newly released Klaris Fundamental Watery Oil Drop and since delivery was on point I’ve been able to use it for almost 3 weeks, bonus! Let’s begin with the aesthetics. The bottle is made of glass ♻️ as well as the dropper and both are quite large, 50ml. The bottle is akin to translucent frosted glass with the lettering and dropper both in white. Eye candy for anyone’s vanity. Now the name was a little confusing, at least to me at first. I was always under the assumption oil and water didn’t mix. Well they do in this case, the geniuses at Klaris figured it out. This is a clear liquid serum with the consistency of water but nourishing like an oil. It has no scent 🖤 that! This slippery concoction is chock full of antioxidants from Oriental Tea Complex, they help fight off free radicals which lead to premature aging. A few more heavy hitting ingredients that deserve the spotlight are ferment extracts, ceramides and peptides. I found this to be non sticky and absorbed incredibly well. I love the oil hydration without the oil look! Perfect for the heatwave we had in New England last month.
