I usually don’t mind when its night time but for daytime use and especially during these summer days, its a whole new different story. Enter the Klairs Fundamental Watery Drop. This is recommended for people like me who want the benefits of an oil product without the oily finish. This serum is clear, scentless and has almost like the consistency of the klairs toner. I find this serum refreshing on the skin once applied, kinda like water based serums. It feels kinda like spreading oil on the skin, just less slippery. It doesn’t absorb quickly as water-based serums but it doesn’t take too long to sink into the skin like oils. I think of it as a cross between water and oil, if that makes sense. . I have been using this along with the klairs midnight blue youth activating drop and my skin likes it. I have mentioned in my past review that the midnight blue youth activating drop has been helping with the healing and fading of my acne marks. The fundamental watery drop, I feel, has been helping with nourish my skin, as well as provide additional moisturize. Also, I didn’t experience any adverse reactions to this product, which I am really thankful for. . Also, little goes a long way for this product. I only use the recommended 2-3 drops (sometimes 4 if I’m being extra generous) and that covers my whole face. No detectable scent. Applied this serum right after toning. Instructions say to use a few drops but I used a full dropper for my face and neck. Never felt too sticky or oily even with the amount I used. The increased hydration was subtle but I could tell something was off on days I skipped it. My skin seemed to feel hydrated for longer on days I used it. ✒️ Final Thoughts: Yes recommend! It's one of those products in my opinion that does what it says even though it may not be completely obvious that it's working.

Ambivalence is exactly how I feel about the product I am showing you today. ⁣ ⁣ Dear Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop is a water based serum that has the hydration of a facial oil. It has a non sticky texture, that adds extra hydration to the skin with the benefits of antioxidants, ceramides, peptides, sodium hyaluronate, and more. You can apply 2-4 drops of this as a serum after cleansing and toning and before moisturizing day or night. ⁣ ⁣ As to why I am ambivalent about this product? To be honest I love it! I love the silky texture of the serum, I love how easily it sinks into my skin, and I love the glowy appearance it gives after it absorbs. What I don't love about this product is because I have seborrheic dermatitis (really bad eczema), anything with an oil to it feeds the dermatitis (depending on the oil). I didn't know that for many years until I learned more about skincare. When I first started using this, and the combination of products I was using along with it, my skin would just crawl. So, I stopped using it. But, I have started using a different moisturizer since then, and I started using this again and my face feels fine. So, I honestly don't know what to think. What I do know is something was bothering my moisture barrier at the time. I only have a set time to review products from 0.8liter so at this moment I have a love/not so sure feeling going with this one. ⁣ ⁣ I think if you have dry skin, normal skin or just want to add some extra hydration go ahead and try this serum out. It's definitely nice! If you are like me and have really sensitive skin take a look at the ingredients vs. what you are already using and make an educated decision. I purchased this Kilauea fundamental watery oil drop for a discounted price. I googled it before purchasing because I had never heard of it before and Learned this is a new Klairs line so there wasn’t much info to find. I was pleasantly surprised when I got this that it’s not a true oil. It’s more of a serum. It’s wonderful tho. It’s super hydrating and sinks into my skin quickly. Doesn’t leave it sticky or tacky. This serum is supposed to have the hydrating benefits of an oil but in a serum form. Which I am all for that! It leaves my skin looking glowing and just overall healthy. I would repurchase again for sure!

@0.8l_usa has had some fabulous skincare available recently, and the @dear_klairs is a bang of a beginning. Dear Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop is yet another South Korean cosmetic company mouthful of a name. It's a one of a brand new line of Fundamental products, and if they are all like the oil drops, I need them all! 😻 This serum in particular is water based but designed to moisturize like an oil. It claims anti-aging effects with antioxidants, peptides, ceramides, green tea extract and sodium hyaluronate. Other notable ingredients are glycerin, betaine, arginine, Vitamin E, and copper peptide. Though I was excited to receive the oil drops, I was concerned that this serum would sit on my skincare shelf untouched with the others. Much of my regimen consists of #theordinary, and I'm hesitant to change a good thing. When I began using the oil drops, I was pleased that it fit seamlessly with my current day and night routines. I use 4 - 5 drops immediately after washing my face. It's much easier to spread the serum with a damp face. The instructions say 2 - 3 drops, but it's not enough for my face. If I use any more than 4 or 5, my face is a bit sticky, but it doesn't bother me. The serum is water based and has zero scent or color. After using the drops for about 2 weeks, my skin is noticeably more moisturized, and I've had fewer closed comedones on my cheeks. Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop runs $31 for 50ml (1.7 oz) glass bottle. I can find it available for purchase on both Yes Style and Wish Trend right now, with the Yes Style price at $26.35. Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop is quite an interesting product. It has this hybrid texture that is more liquid/fluid compared to an oil, but not as heavy on the skin as an oil. Packaging is nice and simple. It is a tall glass dropper bottle that holds 50ml/1.7oz. The bottle it comes in is quite large and I can see myself not finishing the product for a looong time. I’ve been using 2-3 drops, as directed, almost every day to test it out and I still feel like I haven’t made a dent on the amount that is in the bottle. I like the ingredients a lot, as well. It has antioxidant properties and many hydrating+moisturizing extracts in the ingredients list, which I really enjoy and appreciate. Upon first impression, I was quite hesitant to like this product. I know the product boasts and claims about how it doesn’t leave an oily finish, but that’s all I see... I mean, yeah, it leaves your skin very glowy and dewy, but at the same time it looks like I just put facial oil on my skin. HOWEVER, after some time goes by, the product absorbs quite well into your skin and you are left with this nice glow from within! I was pleasantly shocked with that. Make sure you pat it in and press it well into your skin so it absorbs better and faster. On days/nights that I wanted to use this with my Clarisonic massage head, I would add a few extra drops and it worked amazingly. Another thing I enjoyed about this product is that it had no scent and I believe that it is completely free of fragrance. It did not even have that fragrance free scent that other products have. No matter how light this product is, I cannot see this product having a permanent place in my skincare routine during the summer. That is because my skin already produces lots of oils, causing more shine than usual and I do not like how that looks on me. What I will do is probably revisit this item again in the upcoming fall/winter season because that is when my face is usually more dry and needs help with hydration. I would not recommend this if you have oily/combo+oily skin and do not like that shiny look, but if you’re after that glass skin, then this might be for you. I would recommend this if you have dry/very dry skin, it just might change your life.

It has no scent and is easy to use on its own, mix with a serum or a moisturizer. It’s very good for sensitive skin and I never noticed any kind of irritation. It’s also probably more ideal with people with oily to normal skin as it wasn’t quite as moisturizing as I hoped it would be. It’s hydrating, not sticky or oily whatsoever and has very lovely ingredients. Also, because you don’t need much product, it’ll last a long time. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin and great for oily and normal skin. What I like: I love how there is no fragrance and it’s great for sensitive skin. The ingredients are very nice and there are no irritants. It’s hydrating and soothing and would be good for many skin types. It has multiple uses and you don’t need much. It’s also not sticky or oily at all. What I don’t like: nothing really, it’s very good. Rating: 10/10

i really loved this water-based serum. I have combination skin, so I don’t want any more oil on my face. The fact that this is water-based made me so happy to use it, and my skin felt instantly hydrated. It’s vegan friendly and cruelty-free, which is always a good thing! It absorbs without leaving my skin feeling sticky; I can barely feel it! It is also supposed to have an anti-aging effect, so I’m excited about seeing how that works out in the long term It is very easy to use too! After I washed my fave I just put 2 drops (one on my face, one on my neck) and massaged it in until it was absorbed. A little goes a long way so this will probably last me forever! This serum is great for those who skin is tired, needs huration but don't like oily products, rough & dehydrated skin, and combination skin. My thoughts on the serum is that its perfect for me since I particularly don't like oily products. I can tolerate them but most of the time they make my makeup break apart during the day and I have to do touch ups. This is perfect for when my skin is being extract oily and since the weather is still really hot. My skin been producing more oily than usual and I don't want to use oils that can potentially make my skin burn. This came in handy and right on time. I only use a drop or two and mostly massage it into my skin and pat gently for absorbtion then apply my sunscreen and cushion. The serum wasn't oily looking on my skin and didn't feel heavy even in a humid weather. I have to say I like it and its also unscented which is a plus. I give this product a 10/10.

The oil drop is used before serums and it reminded me of an essence like consistency and texture. It was indeed very watery, fresh feeling and didn’t wasn’t a thick oil consistency . I really like the formula since I have oily/combination skin I am sometimes careful with the amount of oils I add to my face. This product was light enough for everyday use and it is a nice addition to my skin hydration routine. The product claims to offer skin powerful antioxidants effects of Oriental Tea Complex, various ferment filtrates and peptides for hydration and a glowy complexion. Best of all , this product is vegan and cruelty free. Overall I really enjoy this product and I would recommend it if you like that extra fresh , essence feel complexion. Here I have another product from @dear_klairs which is the Dear, Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop. I got this product around the same time as Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop. This oil drop contains various ferment filtrates, peptides, and anti oxidant effects of Oriental Tea Complex. Although it’s an oil drop, it has a balanced formula between serum, oil, and Green Tea water from Jeju Island which is nice because it does not make my skin oily at all yet moisturizing enough for my skin. 🌿 I often use this product with my regular skin care product during both on my morning and nightly skincare routine. After using this product these past few weeks, I have not noticed any irritation or redness developing on my skin. I like that this product has antioxidants and ingredients such as Green Tea water, Ceramide, Peptides, Sodium hyaluronate, Rice and Kelp extracts, and other fermented extracts which provides a rich-like hydration from both water and oil serum. According to the products description, this product is great for antioxidant care and anti-aging which I am still testing out. Short and sweet review on the newly launched #dearklairs Fundamental Watery Oil drop. The product claims to "offer the skin the powerful anti oxidant effects of Oriental Tea Complex, various ferment filtrates and Peptides" . I found that the texture was surprisingly rich on my skin, I only needed about 6-7 drops to cover my entire face. Calling it a "watery oil" is a great description of the texture. What I liked most is how much GLOW it gave my skin! Hello #glassskin! For that reason I like using it best during the daytime. I did find that it was too rich to layer with my heavier creams/oils on top, so I would pair this with an emulsion/ gel cream. . I guess this is the tricky part- do you NEED to buy this product? If you're looking for something to help hydrate your skin and act as barrier care, this will do that for you. Personally, I have a lot of products that already do that in my routine, so this product can be a bit repetitive for me.
