Vely Vely artemisia Essence is an essence made with Non Additives. This essence contains 100% artemisia extract and is known to show great improvement within the skins barrier over the course of 4 weeks. Me personally I’m only on my second week of using it and can definitely see an improvement in my skins hydration and overall balance. This essence is great for for all skin types especially those with sensitive skin. Artemisia is known for assisting in calming the skin and helping to soothe redness. It is literally like splashing a handful of water on your face the only difference is that this essence provides tons of benefits for my skin. Because this essence is so lightweight it absorbs very quickly and ultimately leaves my skin feeling hydrated, refreshed, and balanced. I feel like this essence could be used in multiple ways. Such as a facial spray, a primer for makeup application or just to freshen up makeup, a sheet mask, and a little extra kick to any facial mask. I actually added a little bit to a powder clay mask last night to help boost the effectiveness and benefits of said mask and it worked phenomenally. I’ve always been a huge fan of facial essences because I feel like they are so versatile and do actually serve a purpose in my skincare routine. Even when I’m in a rush and running low on time simply washing my face, applying an essence, and a good sunscreen seems to hold my skin over for the day. I truly feel a facial essence makes all the difference. I highly recommend trying this essence out. I’ve been trying to avoid skincare products that weigh a little heavy on my skin especially considering that I breakout far more in the summer versus the winter. So for me this product is like liquid gold right now lol and has made all the difference in my skincare routine.

I’ve been on an artemisia/mugwort kick recently. It’s just an all-around excellent herb that’s so underrated outside of K-beauty. There are two things I’m looking for in an artemisia product: anti-inflammation and pleasant texture. The Vely Vely Artemesia Balance Essence hits both marks. —— 🌿 [Great for Layering] Like most artemisia/mugwort essences, the Vely Vely essence is pretty watery. In fact, it’s probably the most watery artemisia essence I’ve ever tried. This consistency really allows me to layer it, especially when my skin needs that extra soothing power. I’ve done the “seven-skin” method with this essence a few times, where I patted the essence on to my skin seven times and found that it provided enough hydration without the feeling of heaviness. —— 🌿 [Comparing to Missha] I can’t review this essence without comparing it to my favorite Missha Time Revolution Artemisia Essence. Texture-wise, the Vely Vely essence doesn’t have that slip you get from Missha, but it’s not a bad thing since the two essences can be applied at different stages of a skincare routine. The Vely Vely essence has a slightly heavier mugwort scent compared to Missha, which I really enjoy. Performance-wise, I think they are pretty much neck-to-neck. I get occasional sensitivity from using too many actives and both essences have been great at providing that soothing effect.

I am so happy I got to try this product. I've been using it for about a week so I could give an honest review. My skin was awful! covered with huge pores that I could not rid of. I was getting facials every couple of months and spending ridiculous amounts of money on skin care products. I've been poked and prodded like crazy. that's not even to mention the crows feet. I’ve been wanting this Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence for a long time and was so happy I was able to claim a deal on 0.8L to get this product for $3.99. Vely Vely is a brand started by a famous Korean celebrity Im Ji Hyun. I have no idea who that is but I do know I want this for the Artemisia, because it’s seriously THE ingredient of the year. Artemisia, also known as Mugwort, is a medicinal plant used for centuries in Korea, known for its antibacterial, antifungal and protective skin properties. It can relieve reactions such as itching, redness and tightness in skin by its soothing and refreshing properties. I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now, here are my first impressions. It is a very watery essence, there is no stickiness whatsoever. It smells a little like green juice, but the smell is not very strong. There is no added fragrance. In fact, there is only 1 ingredient 🌱100% Artemisia Capillaris extract🌱 I did not realize this was a “first Essence” until I read the label. For those not familiar, a first Essence is meant to be used straight after cleansing and before any other step in your skincare routine, hence the name “first”. It is meant to provide hydration to your skin so that the rest of the products coming later will absorb better. In a proper Korean routine, they recommend you use first Essence followed by toner followed by another essence. Previously, I’ve just substituted first Essence and toner and never used both, but in the interest of a proper review, I tried using mine before toner this time around. It’s too early to report back on results but I don’t have any adverse reactions on my skin. In fact it feels quite moisturized. Have you hopped on the Artemisia trend?

Artemisia is known for calming and soothing redness on the skin while also healing acne/breakouts. Hence the reason why this is called a balance essence. I can get pretty red in certain parts of my face throughout the day and on days when I don’t feel like wearing foundation or bb cream I hate the look of rosacea on me. After using this product I have noticed that my skin has maintained more even toned for a longer period of time. I use this directly after toner and before my serum applying over my face with a cotton pad and my skin is able to absorb it very well without it causing dryness. It has a slight herbal smell (duh!) but isn’t overpowering in anyway. I will definitely continue to use this in my skincare routine!

This is my very first product from Vely Vely. Packaging is really nice and I like that it’s sealed well for peace of mind. It has a water consistency so you better use a cotton pad to apply it in your face. The smell is somewhat like wine and herb and so is the color. The first time I used it, I was really amazed! It has that cooling and calming effect on your face. I bet it will be better to use it if you place it on the fridge especially during the summer days. And I can tell after a few minutes of using it, my face feels so supple and smooth! Just on the first day! I cannot wait to finish this whole bottle and see the results! It does really hydrate your skin and gives you and it is anti aging!

No complaints! @wishtrend @bywidhtrend Vitamin C 15% with ferulic Acid- my husband has been testing this baby out and his skin has instant glow! His skin is perfect so he only needs maintenance! @_seviz are a fantastic affordable option if you’re looking for noise canceling Bluetooth headphones! My husband really likes them and I finally get my Beats back from him! Just a fun fact - the above mentioned Beats were my Mother’s Day gift from the husband and the kid 2 years ago! But I have hardly gotten to use them 10 times in all this time because even though it was for me, hubs claimed them, go figure!

I recieved this product for a reduced price of $3.99 in exchange for my fair and honest review. Let me first say, I just love VELY VELY! I'm crazy about all of their products I've tried so far! This serum has been yet another product that I've tried of theirs and just loved. It contains Artemisia which is mugwort. It is a root based plant that is used to treat digestive issues, it is also rich in antioxidants as well as having the capability to ease joint pain. It's rich in vitamin E which is an amazing antioxidant for your skin. This essence is supposed to balance skin so it's made for all skin types. Directions were simple. You just apply to skin after cleansing! You can find it for sale on Amazon for $43 for a 150mL bottle. I haven't been using it long enough yet to notice some major differences but it really does make my skin feel amazing and I plan on adding it to my skin care routine to help with mosturizing my skin. I can't wait to share the results with you in a few weeks!!

After doing some research, Artemisia is a root based plant whose use dates back to ancient cultures and was used to treat circulation problems, joint pain, stomach issues and menstrual cramps! If your skin is oily this essence will help balance and clarify it and fade post breakout marks. If your skin is dry you’ll appreciate how it boosts hydration deep within skin. I started off by cleansing my face and patting dry, and applied the essence to a cotton ball and gently wiped all over my face , down my neck and chest.
