super thick with a very pleasant cocoa butter scent. Gently scrubs away dead skin cells and blackheads ,it didn't dry out my skin or cause any irritation. The cocoa sugar scrub also help reduce the appearance of my pores by removing excess oil and gunk buildup. Very pleasantly surprised by how soft , silky and smooth my skin was after using and I love that its made with all natural ingredients.

I was given the opportunity to try and review this Cacao Sugar Black Head Off Exfoliating Facial Scrub from @theskinhouse_official. This is an exfoliating facial scrub formulated with Black Sugar extract which removes dead skin cells and blackhead, leaving your skin smooth. It deep cleanses impurities and excess sebum in the pores. The main ingredients are Black Sugar, Cacao and Aloe Vera. Black Sugar helps to remove dead skin cells and balancing moisture level on the skin and it has an excellent effect in removing blackhead on the nose. I apply a small amount of the scrub on my clean skin (avoiding the delicate eye area) and massage it gently into circular motions with my fingertips for about 3-5 minutes. I then rinse my skin thoroughly with lukewarm water. The scrub has a beautiful texture with little sugar particles that gently scrub away sebum and dirt and do not feel abrasive on my skin. It has such a delicious cocoa scent! This scrub is amazing for my combination to dry skin. It leaves my skin appearing smoother, clearer and more radiant. It is great for buffing away stubborn blackheads. My skin feels so clean, smooth and soft afterwards. I love how this scrub gives my skin an instant radiant glow. My skin feels hydrated and supple. I love that this scrub does not dry out my skin and that it does not leave my skin feeling greasy. It can be used two to three times a week to give your skin a special facial treatment right at home! Highly recommend this scrub.

I recently received this product at a deep discount for my opinion. When I received I realized this was for oily and acne prone skin. The texture was great and went on the face great. The issue I had was with my mature skin this scrub was a little rough on my skin. The black sugar and cacao oil made for an intoxicating scent which is present through whole use. I do recommend this for younger skin dealing with acne and oily skin.

I really liked the feeling of The Skin House Cacao Sugar Black Head Off exfoliating my skin. The scent was good too. Many users didn’t like the fragrance but I love the scent of dark chocolate. The product was easy to wash off and left my face feeling clean and soft. Overall trying The Skin House Cacao Sugar Black Head Off was an awesome experience.

The smell of this product was the first thing I noticed. The delightful smells of Cocoa and brown sugar were intoxicating. It came with a plastic spatula which is good for hygienic purposes. The brown packaging matched the contents. I used this at the first sign of red irritation on my face. I found it sort of course for the face however it didn't cause further irritation. It easily rinsed away and left my skin smooth. The redness disappeared by the morning and no bumps appeared. I have sensitive skin and I was very happy with the outcome.

Directions for use is to do a first cleanse , on a damp face apply the scrub , work it in slowly and rinse off with cold water . I did as directed and reached for the scrub . It definitely has that rich cacao chocolate scent . I scooped some out and applied it and worked it in with slow circular motions . I have to say that I wish that the sugar granules were a tad bit more finely milled . If you have sensitive skin then this is not the scrub for you . But having said that , my face was definitely a lot brighter after using the product.

I have been using this for the last few days and I must say I love this scrub . It cleanses my face without being harsh and the smell of the cocoa is really nice. My skin feels refreshed without being dried out and it has been helping with getting rid of some of my blemishes and blackheads. I am so glad I had the opportunity to try this delicious smelling exfoliating scrub with cacao and black sugar. It’s perfect for removing dead skin and clearing your pores leaving your skin soft and renewed. To use apply after cleansing to damp face and gently massage with warm water. Scrub away dead skin and clean your pores with Cocoa Sugar Black Head Off by The Skin House. This delicious smelling exfoliator is made from Black Sugar and Cacao to create a facial scrub that'll leave your skin balanced. My experience with this facial scrub was good and not so good. The not so good being my own fault. Initially opening the container the scent was Devine. If you're a chocolate addict like I am then you'll understand! I used as directed, add water and massage, the more water you add the more gentle the scrub. After using my skin feels baby smooth and surprisingly hydrated and not dried out. However, this is a facial scrub you'll want to go easy with as its a bit rough on the skin, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. I could have been a bit more gentle and added more water but still had amazing results. I recommend this product for it's natural cleaning and exfoliating ingredients along with the aroma! Just remember to go easy and add water and you'll be left with smooth, refreshed skin!

This facial scrub is meant to cleanse impurities and excess sebum from deep in the skin’s pores. It is a mild physical exfoliant that, using black sugar extract and cacao (cocoa), is supposed to remove dead skin cells and blackheads ultimately leaving skin smooth. I approached using this product with a slight apprehension as I have sensitive skin and have avoided physical exfoliation for the most part. I was pleasantly surprised to find the scrub did not irritate my skin at all. My skin felt softer after using the scrub. This might be from the cacao extract which is known for helping to balance the skin’s moisture. Aloe Vera is also an ingredient added to the product as well. As I said earlier I felt like my skin was smoother. However I did not notice a difference in the amount of blackheads or blemishes. Perhaps I need to use it for a longer period of time. Overall I would say it is a good product but not one that I would purchase again.
