I didn’t notice much of a difference aside from the cooling, but after several days of using the product, I noticed my face wasn’t as red anymore and the areas that usually had stubborn pimples began clearing up quickly! I actually like this product better than most spot treatments I’ve tried, since it isn’t harsh or drying. I typically really love products from Klairs, but this one missed the mark for me. It’s a lovely color and smells nice, but it didn’t do all that much for the places on my skin that get red and irritated. The first day I used it was right after getting too much sun on my cheeks. I didn’t notice any redness reduction, but the following day one of my cheek areas broke out. I never break out there so there seemed to be a correlation between this product and my breakout. I spent the next few days using this cream around my nose. That area is always red and a little tender because of blowing my nose so much during allergy season or because of wind. Again, I promptly broke out in that area after using this product. I let the area clear up for a day and tried it again. This time I didn’t have a breakout, but the redness wasn’t all that diminished. I kept using this consistently for about a week and a half and only then did I feel like the redness had been reduced by about 50%. There have been other calming creams and gels that have done a much better job for me without ever causing a breakout. Others might have better luck than I did with this product. If I did recommend it then I would have to give a disclaimer about my initial breakouts and the very slow rate of redness reduction.

I enjoy using the cream after the Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid which makes my face a little flush after application. Aside from its claims I just love to look at the color. . A dislike for me would be that the cream contains Argan oil which is too thick for my skin type. Argan oil clogs my pores and makes me break out. Therefore, I don’t apply it all over my face and focus mostly on areas that are irritated. Other than the texture I like this cream. I think it’s good for most skin types and would consider repurchasing in the future. . I have been dieing to try the @Dear_Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream for months. It's just sooo pretty, how could one not be tempted. Naturally I scooped this up immediately when I saw it available through @08liter. So far I'm enjoying it immensely. I recently had a nasty stretch of angry skin and this stuff has been instrumental in getting my face back on track. I've been using this at night after I apply my retinol and my face just soaks it up. The consistency is a little bouncier than a typical cream but thicker than most gel-creams. It almost feels like a pudding. When applying it I always think I have too much, but it doesn't feel as silicone-heavy as I'd expect so it doesn't spread as much as I'm used to. I've taken to spreading it between my fingertips and patting it in which seems to work really well. Beyond anything else I am completely in love with the color. The calming cream comes packaged in a very nice glass jar with a metal lid and a tiny spatula, I've used plenty of products that were substantially pricier that didn't feel anywhere near as nice in the hand. Fantastically the scent is completely neutral. They really nailed it every step of the way with this stuff.

I used it on my full face and it was so moisturizing. It goes on cool, light and without greasiness. They recommend it as a spot treatment and it helped with a few sore spots I had on my jaw and cheekbones from dryness after using retinol and around my eyes that get sore from watering all day due to it being pollen season. . ☀️ Conclusion: I’m so happy with my first two Klairs products. This is the @Klairs.global Midnight Blue Calming Cream from @0.8l_usa getting a first impressions review! #gifted ~ FIRST IMPRESSIONS This gentle cream claims to be good for calming irritations, soothing redness, and repairing damaged skin. It has a lovely light blue color and smells like a cream, no noticeable scent notes. Swipe for a complete list of ingredients. A few key ones are Guaiazulene, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, and a handful of Peptides. I’ve used this for the past week and I can see some reduction in my skin redness so far. I now have more of a pink to my skin and have been using less makeup to even out my skin tone. It absorbs pretty quickly and you don’t need to use a lot, you can also use it as a spot or area treatment. I hope this continues to work well because it would be nice to have less skin redness. Honestly this is one of the must haves! It does sooth redness especially like pimples and sunburn etc. It does give a slight tacky feeling but moisturising. The colour of the cream is blue which is very nice hehe.

Who am I? Another post and now about Klairs Midnight blue calming cream (which I got at a discounted price from @0.8l_usa). Obviously,  I procrastinated and now I am down to the wire. Story of my life right there. This comes housed in a hefty but tiny glass jar, all 30 ml of it. Opening the jar, the cream is a pretty periwinkle blue. I detect no scent. So did I find this soothing and calming and great for sensitive skin? Yes and no. When my skin is only feeling mildly sensitive, I thought it did fine. It felt soothing and yes maybe even calming. However,  when my perioral dermatitis is flared up, this does nothing to the area where it feels raw. In fact, applying it to the area leaves me with a mildly burning sensation. To be fair, my other products does the same thing when applied around my mouth area. Did I find this moisturizing enough? Not for my dry skin. I needed a sleeping pack over this. Folks with normal to oily skin might find this sufficient. My daughter loves this cream and I have repurchased this for her. I do find this pricey since it's only 30 ml. Wishtrend sells it for $31. I don't know why it is so pricey at their website at this time. Sokoglam sells it for $24.50. Your best bet right now is Amazon. I just checked and they sell it for $24.50 but they have a 10% coupon for this right now.

It is a wonderful brand with amazing products that are cruelty free.   Key Ingredients: Guaiazulene – a natural component that is extracted from Roman Chamomile. This is the ingredient that gives the product its natural blue color. Argireline/Acetyl Hexapeptide – 3 – “Botox in a Jar” it is a quick fix for wrinkles but does not have any preventive properties against aging. EGF – Epidermal Growth Factors. They help with improving wrinkles and fine lines and are supposed to help even out the skin tone and texture. Shea Butter –Hydrating Emolient to help provide hydration Hyaluronic Acid – Helps draw in the moisture and makes the skin plump and hydrated.   My Experience – It is an extremely soothing and calming cream that is super rich but has a beautiful silky blue gel texture that absorbs fairly quickly into the skin and provides supple hydration. It does not leave the skin feeling greasy or tacky. Absorbs very nicely and helps calm any inflammation and redness due to acne and is also supposed to help fade PIH. It is definitely something that would be amazing to use as a nightly treatment. It is like a cold splash of water that is extremely satisfying to the face. I really enjoy using this cream. I have a confession, I hate my red cheeks. I do. So when I saw @dear_klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream on @0.8l_usa for a reduced fee I jumped at the chance. Especially already being a fan of #dearklairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner I had really high hopes for their Calming Cream. It comes in a glass jar and is a gorgeous color blue. Guaiazulene is the star ingredient as it is reportedly super calming. Its extracted from camomile oil and is what gives this spot treatment it’s blue hue. Also included in the ingredients is Centella. This is said to hydrate skin, relieve irritation and reduce redness. I have some pretty bad redness and I’m so bummed to say I’ve seen no change. I’ve been using this at least once a day since I received it and I’ve found no relief. It is hydrating but since it’s a spot treatment it’s only hydrating small spaces. I’m going to keep using it hoping I just haven’t had enough time with the product.

I love that they are cruelty free and their products have a cult status in the #abcommunity because they deliver results. Though my skincare preferences have now changed and I have been switching to natural skincare, it was hard to let go of a chance to try the Midnight Blue Calming Cream and their newly released Soft Airy UV Essence for a trial fee of $3.99 on #08L .. Midnight Blue Calming Cream: Aptly named, this cream soothes sensitive or irritated areas and is to be used as a spot treatment and not a regular moisturizer. It gets its soothing power and the beautiful blue color from the star ingredient - Guaiazulene, a natural component extracted from chamomile oil. Other notable ingredients include Sodium Hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica extract, Shea Butter, Jojoba seed oil, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Broccoli extract, Ceramide and peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, sh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Oligopeptide-2, sh-Polypeptide-1, sh-Polypeptide-9, sh-Polypeptide-11). These work together to help hydrate, replenish and repair the skin. I did not detect any scent and was using this like a spot treatment for my red angry pimples. I wonder if I will like it more then .. Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA++++: I've consistenly used sunscreens even when I wasn’t into skincare. A dermatologist in 2005 had asked me to never forget a sunscreen even if I chose to do nothing else. I followed her advice, I religiously used a sunscreen every morning. I love a sunscreen if it is fast absorbing, does not dry out my skin or irritate my eyes. This is perfect. The squeeze tube packaging is functional, this sinks in immediately, leaves a non greasy finish and does not feel drying. My opinion 💭: I definitely recommend this cream. It’s ideal for sensitive skin but my oily skin receives it very well. These days of stress helped me a lot to control the pimples. While it’s true that it brings very little product, it seems very sufficient because only a very moderate amount is needed in the areas that are needed. HOW TO USE: I apply it in the night routine, in the most damaged areas and in the pimples. The good thing is that your skin wakes up with the controlled pimples.

This cream is cruelty free, ethanol free, paraben free, silicon free, steroid free, artificial coloring free and artificial fragrance free. I used this cream after using my Retain A cream since this cream claims to soothe irritations and I think it does soothe the redness that I was experiencing and helped calm my skin. I didn't really notice any scent that was strong. I like that it went smoothly and absorbed fairly fast. I didn't have any stickiness when checking if it absorbed. I can see a difference in my skin from being irritated to calming. I give this a 9/10.

The cream is a beautiful shade of blue, the consistency is thick but easy to spread, and there is no scent.  One of the main ingredients, Guaiazulene, extracted from camomile oil gives the cream its beautiful color and also provides anti-inflammatory benefits which help in treating skin irritation and 1st degree burns.  The shelf life of this cream is 12 months from the date you open it. You can purchase a 1oz. jar for $24.25. MY THOUGHTS: This cream is to be used as a spot treatment, which is why you receive a little amount of product.  I used this on my acne spots and redness on my face. It spread easily and my skin absorbed it right away, it did not feel greasy or sticky afterwards .  You only need to apply a tiny amount as a little bit of this cream goes a long way. My teenage son also used this on his eczema. He said it helped to moisturize the dryness, reduce the redness, and the inflammation.  I do recommend the Midnight Blue Calming Cream from Klairs.
