Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is recommned for use as a spot treatment for redness, pimples or sun exposure. But this little blue gem can be so much more! A little goes a long way, and I've found that with nightime application it soothes any redness by morning. I have been loving this lightweight, highly absorbing cream. So I decided to give this to my boyfriend because he works outdoors and his skin gets irritated from the sun exposure, and he really enjoyed this product! He thought it really helped with the irritation, especially with any redness that he may have experienced that day. - I wish I had more reason to use it, but maybe in the future I can steal it back from him if I feel like I need to use it.

For the past week, I have been trying this midnight blue calming cream. The majority of their products are catered towards sensitive skin. And major love the fact that they do not test on animals. This product contains peptides and ceramides - these promotes water retention and repairs the natural skin barriers. Another active ingredient is the extract of Centella Asiatica - it helps promote healing, reduces redness and irritation. I might not have found the correct way to use this product together with my other skincare products. I find myself in a love-hate relationship with this product now. Love the dewy and moisturised skin I have the next morning. But hate that it pills over. So... I might need to test this further to see whether it is really effective.

The Midnight Blue Calming Cream is designed as a gentle cream that provides comfort to rapidly calm and soothe sensitivity. This cream comes in a nice, small and sturdy glass jar. It contains 30 ml (1.01 oz) and has no fragrance. The cream is blue and it comes with a little spatula. The cream is lightweight but thick in texture. The blue color is a natural color from the ingredient guaiazulene. The cream blends out well without any blue-ish tint. Recommended use is to apply a small amount on the affected area in the morning and evening after using toner and serum. After using, this cream is very safe for sensitive skin and people with an aversion to fragrance. This cream has also changed a number of the ingredients than it originally had when it first came out and has removed many irritating ingredients. This cream is very smooth, moisturizing, hydrating and could be used on its own or under or over a regular moisturizer as a spot treatment. It should be applied over redness, acne or acne scarring, burns (for example, sunburns), works on hives and other skin irritation. It can be used on any skin type as well, on both dry or oily skin. Not much is required so this product will last some time even though there is only about an ounce of product. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive and easily irritated skin. What I like: this cream is very hydrating and moisturizing, it’s soothing and even slightly cooling. It is amazing on sensitive skin and doesn’t contain any fragrance. It’s been updated and contains fewer irritants than it originally contained. It can be used as a spot treatment or a moisturizer on its own. In addition, a little goes a long way and it lasts a long time. It’s really ideal for any skin type. What I don’t like: nothing really, it’s a good product. Rating: 10/10

The cream is lightweight and pale blue in color but rubs in clear when applied to skin. I tried the Midnight Blue Calming Cream from Klairs. It’s a gentle, calming cream for stressed and irritated skin. It has Guaiazulene which is what makes the cream light blue. It also has Centella extract that helps relieve redness. It’s a fluffy-textured cream that spreads easily without any greasy residue. I don’t think I saw any immediate decrease in redness on my acne-prone skin, but it definitely moisturized my skin without making my skin more greasy or irritated. I don’t know if I’ll buy again but it’s a nice moisturizer to have. Reducing redness from sun exposure (yes, we’re finally getting some sun! ☀️😭) On the other hand, I didn’t notice this helping with redness associated with pimple/s to make it/them less inflamed-looking; unless I prick/pop the pimple then this cream can calm the after-extraction redness and even relieves some pain. 🤔 😆 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My skin doesn’t get irritated with acids/actives anymore, but I imagine this cream would be useful in the unfortunate event that I overuse BHA and AHA . On the other hand, I am also using benzoyl peroxide and while it is only 2.5%, I can still feel some dryness on nights I use it. Luckily, this midnight blue cream provides moisture. I haven’t tested this yet, but I’m planning to also use this on my legs after sugar waxing. Talk about a hyped-up product! I have heard so much about this cream. Interestingly, it is supposed to be used as a healing ointment of sorts, such as for razorburn/sunburn/etc., and not as an everyday cream! Well, I'm glad to say it works! I am very easily reddened (even by a scrub or certain masks), and after leaving this on overnight, I think it helps skin get back to normal a bit faster than usual. Is it better than just aloe vera gel? Debatable. I'll need to test it more. Only downside- little size jar. . . . . I got this at a discount in exchange for an honest review

I remember hoarding sample packs of this because I loved how calming it is but as we all know I don't need to be buying creams... which is exactly why I bought this cuz it was on try now from @0.8l_usa 😆 I actually tried to buy it during the wishtrend Black Friday sale cuz it came in a big old tube, but if you remember, there was that whole fiasco where no one could check out #firstworldproblems But anywho been so glad to have this in my arsenal, and I would totally recommend it to peeps with sensitive skin or skin that needs some anti-inflammatory help. There's no fragrance, has that tasty azulene and centella along with many other tasty plants. The one thing I will say is that the jar is much smaller than I thought it would be at 30ml which is probably just because I'm used to creams being 50/100ml. Overall, I like this a lot, it's a helpful cream to have for peel days or times when your skin is more raw. I have been using this beautiful blue cream for a few weeks now at the end of my nighttime routine. It’s so light for being a night cream and it has really soothed my skin in that time. I would love to keep this cream in rotation.

I have been using the Klairs Midnight blue calming cream for about 2 weeks now and I have seen a big difference in my skin. I have been dealing with a lot of redness and irritation and this has helped so much!  The cream contains centella asiatica extract, ceramide 3, argan oil and guaiazulene, a component extracted from chamomile oil. These are just some key ingredients that help soothe irritation, soothe redness and calm sensitivity from sun exposure or having sensitive/acne prone skin. I have combination skin with sensitivity and redness on my cheeks and this cream has been a lifesaver! I use a little bit every night and my redness and sensitivity is under control and no breaks outs! The cream does feel a bit oily but not a lot, if it had more oil, believe me, I would be breaking out but not one single acne spot has appeared! I even see the difference when I wake up, no oily skin, and just glowing skin without redness.

It has a smooth slightly silky light blue cream that targets calming. It goes on super smooth and dries down matte with a slight film. The ingredients I like are the Centella asiatica, Niacinamide, and ceramide. Since it does leave a bit of a film, I prefer this during the winter or at night at the end of my routine. This is a good staple cream. I would recommend it for anyone that doesn’t have sensitivity to botanical oils, since this does contain a few. 5/5

I use this cream whenever my skin gets irritated by either overuse of actives, I stay too long in the sun, or I have a reaction to any skincare i'm testing. I also use it after any microneedle treatments to keep my skin soothed and calm. I love this cream and I'm so happy that it now comes in a 60ml tube. I always have a backup I love it this much. It says to use it on irritated areas but I use it as my moisturizer when i'm suffering from any redness or irritation. It spreads and sinks beautifully, while also moisturizing my skin. It can leave your skin looking a bit too dewy if you use too much, but you can use it as a day or night cream. This cream also contains peptides that help in skin firming and health. If your skin gets easily irritated I would give this a try. Totally recommend and have repurchased.
