I received this Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream complimentary from 0.8L in exchange for my honest opinion First of all, of course, it has very cool light blue color:) Glass jar is nicely heavy. And it comes with plastic spatula. As it’s only a targeted cream, I wasn’t able to test it properly. But I had a small redness/ rush on my cheeks. So I used it at night and upon awakening I could see that redness became less noticeable. I think it’s nice to have this kind of cream just in case of some redness or rush. But regular Nivea cream does the same to me)

have heard great reviews about this cream hence purchased it to try out. I thought the cream would be quite thick. Apparently, I am wrong as the pretty violet cream melts quickly and get absorbed into my skin in split seconds. Love that this product has zero fragrance and that it did keep my skin hydrated without new breakouts. The patches of redness on my face did tones down slightly but yet to see any other visible results.

Some of the uses are when you have a spot extracted, a lazar treatment, irritation and heat flashes after sun exposure, oily skin, eczema, ulcerative skin disease, or burns, or if you want a refreshing, soothing cream the Blue Cream is for you. IT IS NOT for “Rosacea flares". I have been using this on areas where I had spa treatments. It has worked very well to spend the healing of these areas. I am getting a treatment called Pixell soon which should give me a good opportunity to test this cream again, as it involves a lot of tiny needles which help stimulate collagen. So far I have been very satisfied with this treatment cream and I have used it as I personally believe it was mostly intended, which is for small areas. Love the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream! 💙 The colour is soooo unique and I definitely feel a calming sensation when I apply it to my skin. I have sensitive skin with redness and I find that applying this cream on targeted areas help to reduce redness and pain after a long day exposed to harmful UV rays and particles. The cream is also advertised to calm redness after shaving and I use it on my eyebrow area after I have tweezed them. The redness is significantly reduced and I wake up to soothe skin that is good to go! However, I do not feel that the cream can completely replace moisturiser and it probably is more of a targeted area cream. It does not do much to reduce my acne or other dry concerns. Thus, I would only repurchase this for calming my sensitive skin.

Today was time to try Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream, I liked this cream because is not necessary to apply in the whole face, just need to apply in targeted spots. This cream properties help to soothe the skin reducing blemishes and sun burn. It was relaxing and my skin felt better since I applied it before going to bed, then my break outs were minimized.

Having oily, sensitive and acne prone skin, this helps calm and rejuvenate my skin. This blue cream is amazing. It calms down the redness and irritation of my skin after cleansing while keeping my skin hydrated and very soothing. I tried the blue cream on after showering and boy did my face feel really smooth and soft. It doesn't really have a smell as far as I can tell. It's light and not too thick. Although it kinda feels thick when you apply it, it's actually light, smooth, and blends into your skin really well. I find I have to put on a kind of thick amount to get a good cooling effect but it works nicely if you do and also moisturizes the skin. Such a large amount can sometimes leave your skin feeling filmy/sticky for a short while. Huge tip! Do NOT use your hands to spread the cream as it transfers the heat and gets rid of some of the "cooling" effect. I started using Klairs products winter 2018. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and was looking for a brand that was very minimalist and required very low maintenance. One of the products I love from the collection is the Midnight Blue Calming Cream. It feels cool against my skin, and leaves my skin looking very dewy and supple. I use this product at least 5-6 days out of the week. I feel confident walk around without makeup, because my face is pretty clear, with just a few past scars. I loved this product so much that even though I already have it in tube form, I want a backup in a jar. It's portable and very easy to use. You can use to with other products or on it's own. I do have 2 sensitive spots currently that have been driving me crazy so I thought this would be a great try. so far it has taken the redness down dramatically and hydrated the area so there isnt dryness or peeling. This has been very helpful in the sensitivity in those 2 spots. I have not tried this in sun exposure yet as it hasn't stopped raining in what feels like forever. I will definently try to save some for summer if I can to see the benefits from using after the sun.

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream - I was initially interested in this product because of its naturally occurring blue hue. I had only tried a Klairs face mask before. Upon receiving it, I realized it is a spot treatment and not an all over face cream. The blue color is stunning - created from the ingredient Guaiazulene, a powerful skin-calming agent extracted from camomile oil. I always have blemishes on my skin so I tested it on a spot on my upper cheek and it was noticeably less angry and faded the next morning. Randomly my 5 year old had an allergic reaction on her face that same day that broke her out in hives and in desperation I grabbed the Klairs calming cream to use on her and was super pleased at how the cream calmed her face down as well. I’ve learned K-beauty takes a gentle approach to spots and blemishes while western culture wants you to blast spots away with acids. I need to learn to treat my skin gently and have patience and this spot treatment is great for that! I paid a small trial fee in exchange for my review from 0.8L.

The obvious, but worth noting: this cream is a beautiful blue color that is rarely the color of creams, and makes the skincaretainment value of this cream high. The texture of this cream is also lovely; it's silky and light. The jar is rather small, 1oz, but this cream is not meant to be used as an all over face moisturizer (rather, as a spot treatment). I haven't gotten to test the calming properties of this cream extensively, but so far find them decent if not mind blowing: the few times I've used this on some over exfoliated areas on my face (the sides of my nose tend to get irritated) the area was soothed, but I didn't feel as if it was significantly more compared to any of my other gentler products. As of now, this is a decent moisturizing spot treatment (and it does what it says it will do), but I'm unconvinced it's a necessary part of a routine.

This was suggested to me by @kbeauty.reinex (thanks sis! ☺️) when I was looking for something to calm and repair my damaged skin. 🐝 The cream has this smoothie, lightweight, and easily spreadable consistency and surprisingly has no noticeable scent which I totally approve of. It also came with a cute transparent spatula. 🐝 I have been having small breakouts recently (which I still have to find the cause, probably one em products) and I had the chance to put this baby to the test. I would use it as a spot treatment on my breakouts and blemishes after my skincare routine. Sometimes I'd splurge and somewhat apply it all over my face. I have observed that it has calmed my zit overnight. It wasn't sore to touch and appeared to be getting better. After 2 days of continued use, it was gone. The blemishes seemed to lighten a bit too (I applied the cream after charcoal masks) However, it didn't appear to hydrate my face when I tried to use it as a night cream (just out of curiosity). So then it's settled. It is not a moisturizer. 😅 🐝 As much as I love using this cream, I only found it convenient to use at night since it has this sticky feel and I sometimes have to wait for it to completely sink in. Like many others here on IG, I was drawn in by the pretty blue color of this cream when it came up for purchase at @0.8l_usa. The blue color comes from guaiazulene which is extracted from chamomile. The other star ingredient is Centella Asiatica Extract and they're both good for calming inflammation. This cream doesn't have much of a scent at all. While it's called a cream, it's not heavy at all. I'd say it's closer to a watery gel than a thick cream. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly. I was initially disappointed by the small size of this jar and fully expected to use this up quickly. However, @colebiancardi and a few others noted that this is used as a spot treatment rather than an all over cream! In the ~2 weeks I've had this, I've applied it on some popped pimples and noticed that it's helped with the redness but nothing dramatic. I've been suffering from some major allergies and the skin around my nose is pretty raw from blowing my nose so much. I applied this cream around the raw areas and the next morning, the skin felt so much better. Overall, I'm glad I received this product but most likely won't buy again. The reasons I'd use this product are so specific and don't happen often like "calm sunburnt skin, post-shaving redness and irritation after spot extraction and laser procedures" (text taken from @sokoglam product page). If you have easily irritated skin, this might be worth a try though!

Additionally, this product promises to recover damages skin cells from stress and stimulation. The product packaging is minimalistic but still appears professional and high quality. The cream is packed in a dark brown, heavy glass jar and comes with a clear spatula. The product itself is medium thick, opaque cream that has a beautiful light blue color. The cream gets its color from an ingredient called Guaiazulene. Guaiazulene, a plant-based component extracted from camomile oil, is a powerful calming and repairing agent, quick to respond to damaged skin and provide relief. Centella Asiatica aids in regeneration as well as preventing scarring and hyper-pigmentation (ingredient description from soko-glam). The cream has a subtle centella scent. I don't believe those with a sensitive nose would have a problem with it. This highly concentrated product is meant to be applied as a spot treatment for blemishes and really red or irritated skin not as an all-over moisturizing cream. I applied this cream to two blemishes I had during the day and at night and found that the next morning my blemishes looked smaller but they were still red. The cream appears to provide a nice, moderate amount of hydration but takes a few minutes to absorb. This cream is good for daytime use and nighttime use because the blue color does not stain your face because it becomes transparent once it has been applied to the skin. The cream does however dry down to a sticky finish. One day long ago when I was young...maybe 19? I looked into my closet and realized all of the clothes I owned were some shade of blue. All my shirts, dresses, everything. Blue. I've thus expanded out to other available color choices, but I still have to fight the urge to grab the blue option. Needless to say I'm attracted to blue things. I've had the chance to use the @klairs.global midnight blue calming cream for a little over a week, and my very first reaction to opening this was OH MY GOD IT'S SO PRETTY! The color is a very soothing blue that turns clear as it absorbs. The texture of this initially feels thicker but once massaged in it melts down to a much thinner consistency. There isn't much of a scent to it, so this could be a good choice for those who avoid fragrances. This cream can be used all over, or just as a spot treatment. Some of the star ingredients of this are guaiazulene, an extract from chamomile to soothe and calm, and what gives this that beautiful blue color. This also contains centella asiatica, which can help regenerate skin. The cream has a cooling feeling once applied, but without that feel that a menthol-based product can give. It's a very gentle sensation and is very pleasant. Unfortunately as I haven't used this for very long I don't have much of an opinion on its long-term performance. I haven't noticed any drastic skin smoothing or a decrease in the light redness I tend to have on my cheeks. But it's been less then two weeks, so I need more time. I will say I look forward to having this cream for any sunburns I may get, I think it will feel amazing to soothe any irritated skin with this.
