First off, Happy new year. Today I am reviewing, the doctor G peel mask. This product contains several ingredients including willow bark, licorice root extract, mushroom extract, and aloe vera extract amongst other ingredients. The consistency is similar to that of a gel, and balls up once you apply the material to your skin. What I noticed, is that you should apply a thicker layer to your skin to ensure the mask is easy to pull off. The mask smells in a medicinal way almost like Vicks vapor rub. While I don’t feel that this mask is intended for deep cleaning in the pores and with blackheads etc, indeed leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I got a sample of this about a year ago and I fell in love with #dr.g. This was unlike anything I had ever used before and it was so unique! I just had to take advantage of this campaign. I was able to purchase this product at a discounted price. I read so many great reviews on this product, I just had to try it! I used this Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel the same night it was delivered. First, I cleansed my face with Cleansing Oil and Water-Based Cleanser. I then applied this product. Directions say to apply to wet skin. So I did just that. It's a white gel with a cool unique scent. I gently massage into my skin and rolled the dead skin off. I rinsed everything off and was amazed with how soft my skin was. I didn't have any discomfort or irritation at all. I use this product 2-3 times a week. It works great exfoliating my skin. I've also noticed my skin is slightly brighter. I have been using peeling gel lately for my skincare routine. So I'm really excited to try this My Skin Mentor Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel, especially when it was so popular in K beauty world. Dr. G brightening peeling gel is a gentle exfoliator with vitamin brightening effect and can be used for all skin types. It contains moisture-rich cellulose that can remove dead skin cells while vitamin C, E & natural cotton keep the skin moisturized and radiant. The scent is ok for me, kind of chemical but gone quite fast. I use it over the sink and in the shower since it rolls into ball like flakes and falls off. Easier to clean up & get rid of the mess. It doesn't irritate my skin and peel the dead skin cells pretty well. It leaves the skin feeling soft and glowing. No tight feeling which is good since it doesn't strip skin moisture too much. This My Skin Mentor Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel really live up to its reputation!

Happy New Year, everyone!!! 🥂 The holidays are finally over, so I finally have time to catch up on reviews. Tonight, I am reviewing @myskinmentor brightening peeling gel, which is a gommage exfoliated. It says on the bottle there that this is the mild version, apparently it also comes in deep but I’m not sure if there is a version between the two. I have seen this peeling gel pop up randomly on my Instagram feed as part of people’s skin care routines but I don’t think I’ve seen to many reviews on Instagram but you will find over 500 on amazon where it can be purchased for ~$16. I have tried another gommage gel in the past but it did not hold a candle to this one by Dr.G. I now truly understand the hype! After cleansing, while my skin was still damp, I spread a nickel to quarter size amount onto my face and gently rubbed. With little effort, I began to see little white balls forming. Immediately after, I could feel that my face was smoother and the rest of my skin care products absorbed much better. This will definitely be something I will repurchase. I’ve actually been using Dr G’s peeling gel for a little over a month now and its... interesting. I was recommended the product from a personal skin consultation with Soko Glam. When i first purchased it as a part of diving into my 10 step routine I wasn’t entirely sure about it and its usage. I liked the idea of what it was supposed to do for me but I hadn’t seen any change. I specifically worked on a certain dark spot on my face from a recent pimple and really tried focusing on lightening the area since the product is called a “Brightening Peeling Gel”. However in my opinion I haven’t seen much change. Although since I did get a good deal on a full size version and I originally only had a travel size to test with I think I will give Dr. G’s peeling gel another go.

I've used this twice since I got it a week ago and my experience with it were the same on both days. My hands were feeling a bit rough and dry so I used this peeling gel on my hands. I loved it for my hands! My bottomline,  I probably would not repurchase this since my face does not like physical exfoliants.  For those who folks who is okay and enjoy a physical exfoliant, you'll probably enjoy this.

This is the first review I've done where I accidentally didn't photograph the packaging 🙈 First photo is from @sokoglam where you can purchase this #exfoliator! The other photos are mine. It's a long, not interesting, story - but spoiler alert: you'll see it again on my feed! # @myskinmentor.drg is a brand I've quite liked so far (I've tried samples of other products) so I was excited to give this a try. #Peelinggel products contain cellulose that balls up as you massage it onto your skin - bringing dead skin cells with it. This one has honey, black willow extracts & Vitamin C & Vitamin E. It claims to smooth & brighten skin. # I've used this twice a week for two weeks. I was a little nervous, but this truly is mild! I have skin texture issues on my cheeks, so I focused there. Small bits of gel solidified, although it's impossible to tell what was product & what was skin. My guess is mostly the former! # After it had been thoroughly massaged in, I wiped it away with a warm washcloth. My skin looked a bit brighter, and my skin was smoother. I'd say the exfoliation is extremely gentle, truly mild as advertised - making it ideal for sensitive skin types. As someone whose skin can react to more intense chemical exfoliants like BHA & AHA, it's great having options like this. The exfoliation was about the same as the Skinfood Rice mask, for comparison's sake. It left my skin a bit less smooth than PHA products like the Cosrx cream. Those are left on overnight, though, and PHA is still an acid! # Overall, I'd say this would be best for people who don't use actives often & would like a very gentle exfoliation. I'm looking forward to integrating it into my routines regularly!

This peeling gel, for all types of skin, contains natural moisture rich cellulose which gently removes dead skin cells while Vitamin C, E and natural cotton arrange the skin moisturized and radiant. Thoughts - The gel has a grainy texture and no scent of any kind. I used it in the shower on wet skin as per the directions. The first time I used it I felt a tingling sensation as soon as I started massaging my face, it went away fairly quickly. As you massage, the dead skin mixed with the gel rolls off. I am not sure if it is dead skin or something else. It is not abrasive on the skin, I have acne prone skin and don't use physical exfoliations as I find them very abrasive. After washing off the rolls of dead skin, I felt I needed some moisturizer/hydration. I usually wear vitamin c in my morning routine but skipped it on days I used the peeling gel. I felt it would be too much to use. I also found my skin on the cheeks to be sensitive on the day's I used it. I don't think I felt any brightening effect either. It is a cellulose facial exfoliator with natural crystal particles and botanical extracts for use on most skin types. Its ingredients include Caffeine, Aloe Vera, Antioxidants, Titanium Dioxide, and Ceramides and is very gentle on the skin. I applied it to dampened skin and rubbed in circular motions and rinsed. My skin did appear brighter and I didn't feel any tightening or dryness like I get with some exfoliaters. I got to try this through @0.8l_usa Try Now Campaign. The brightening peeling gel does what it claims, a mild exfoliation. My skin looks smooth and clean after using it. The cellulose gel, unlike others exfoliators, doesn't have any beads to help removing dead skin, instead the product balls up, when rubbing on the skin, to lift impurities from the skin. I didn't had any allergic or negative reaction.

I was introduced to yet another peeling gel through 0.8L. This was in by Dr. G. There are certain products out there that always grab my imagination and peeling gels are one of them. I'm attracted to every peeling gel I see so I've tried a lot of them. Some are definitely better than others so I was pleased to find that this one lands in the "better than others" category. It claims to be "mild" and also contains vitamins C and E to promote brightening. It has a light scent that I can't quite identify - possibly herbal, maybe a bit chemically, hard to tell but it's light enough so it doesn't interfere with the experience. I liked this peeling gel because it is mild like it claims. I've burned my skin in the past being overly aggressive with these peels and I didn't experience ANY adverse tingling sensations with this gel. Additionally on the down side, some peeling gels can clot up so quickly, before I can even get it on my face and the rolling peels of cellulose can dry too fast and attach to hairs on the face, making it difficult to remove. But I experienced none of these issues with the Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel. It didn't work too fast or to slow and just slide around my face. It went right to work, did its peeling thing and rinsed off very easily, probably easier than any peel I've used. I really liked it. Peeling gels always leave my skin looking brighter than it did before since it's taking the dead skin away. The new skin looks healthier and makes for a smoother canvas for makeup application. The effects of the vitamin C and E aren't readily apparent in the short term but in the long term I know they are great for my skin. Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel normally retails for $28 by the manufacturer but it's new to the US market so I've seen it attractively priced on other 3rd party retailers like Amazon and @bbcosmetic for around $15. It has the smell of Houttuniya Cordata and it feels very light. After you rub it around your face, specks of white particles will form. The result of washing it off will leave your face feeling very smooth and clean!
