Dr. G Brigthening Peeling Gel is a gentle exfoliator with vitamin brightening effect. This can be used for all types of skin. It contains moisture-rich cellulose that can remove dead skin cells while vitamin C, E, and natural cotton keep the skin moisturized and radiant. This peeling gel is tested by Dermatologist Gowoonsesang This is a very gentle exfoliator so I didn't expect it to remove a lot of dead skin or anything. It's more of a gommage type product that can remove some of the dry skin. It rolls up into balls to attract some of the dead skin on the surface. I didn't find it to irritate my skin or anything but it might irritate some people if you are allergic to any of the ingredients below. I do prefer to use it over the sink since it rolls into balls and falls off. I think it's best used after shower/bath since the skin is a lot softer and easier to remove dead skin cells. The scent is a bit strong for me and kind of reminds me of the scent of tea tree oil. After using this, I think the peel made my skin a little tight but I always put some essence and cream to seal in the moisture. Afterwards, I don't have any problems with it. I know this is one of those products that has a cult status in the world of Kbeauty, so I guess I had really high expectations even before I tried it for the first time. It did what it claimed and yet, somehow it felt like it fell short of my expectations. Yes, it made my face softer, but I noticed it only as an afterthought an hour later: "Oh yeah, I guess it did make my face feel soft..." I also couldn't tell if it helped to brighten, which was what I was looking forward to. . . I tried it two times: once with my face wet like the instructions said, and the second time was just directly onto my dried face, no water. Both times, I noticed some dead skin cells rolling off after some massaging, but I thought they'd be more/bigger clumps. I've tried several other peeling gels and I've gotten a lot more stuff rolling off my skin! Maybe my skin is too used to stronger peeling gels that this one felt a little lacking. I’ve used this about three times and I do think it really is brightening up my complexion a bit as I notice my red marks diminishing and my skin looks significantly less dull after each use. Another amazing thing is this product does not irritate my highly sensitive skin nor does it strip my skin of moisture,at all!! I’ve been dealing with some gnarly eczema around my nose this winter and was worried this would make matters worse but it doesn’t! I feel like in the colder months my skin really does benefit from using exfoliators like this as opposed to physical exfoliators because those tend to bother my skin a bit more. This peeling gel has a chemical-citrus scent. Doesn’t smell nice but it quickly dissipate after massaging on the face in circular motion. The gel feels really gentle on my face. After about a minute or so, the gel begins to pill. Rinse off revealed cleaner and brighter skin without being dry. Overall pretty good peeling gel I enjoyed using about twice a week. Thoughts: The gel comes in a easy to use squeeze tube packaging. I used a dime sized amount on damp skin and massaged gently. This does not feel abrasive and you don't need too much of the product either. As you massage, you notice the product (probably with some dead skin cells) roll off. This is very satisfying since you feel it is the dead skin. I had no irritation, burning sensation or tingling sensation. I hate the nasty blackheads on my husband's nose but cannot get him to exfoliate. I don’t know how I feel about this product. It doesn’t have a strong smell, so that’s nice. It also doesn’t peel up a ton, which makes me think it’s actually primarily my dead skin and not just the product balling up. My main issue was that it burned my skin pretty bad, and I don’t have sensitive skin. I don’t think I would repurchase this product just because it’s uncomfortable to use.

So first I washed my makeup off with my regular face wash because the directions call for cleansed skin...Than I applied the peeling gel to a wet face, it was a cream texture, I applied with my fingertips than gently in a circular motion rubbed it in..... I could feel slight exfoliating beads in the gel peel, and it has a scent that I can’t quite nail down, it wasn’t overbearing, but more like bamboo or woodsy scent... After rinsing & drying off my skin, I instantly could see the brightening effect that this product states...My skin definitely looked bright and smooth to the touch... Thanks to @myskinmentor.drg and @0.8l_usa for letting me Try this Brightening peeling gel at a discount in exchange for my review. 💚 Gentle: I tried another similar Peeling Gel on my face, and did Not like it because it hurt picking off the leftover product on my baby facial hair on my cheeks! (OUCH)! The Dr.G Brightening Peeling Gel however, is much gentler! I did use just a small amount at first though, just to be on the safe side. I also made sure my skin was damp, and avoided my cheek areas until I saw how it would be “peeling” off as it dried. I used an even tinier amount; after I rinsed off the other parts of my face, and massaged gently on my cheeks for just a few seconds and rinsed off. It didn’t stick! 👍🏻👏🏻🤩 💚 Skin Types: I would recommend for many skin types because it is Gentle, and I can attest to that! 💚 Main Ingredients: Mushroom 🍄 Extract, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Leaf Extract, Honey Extract, Licorice Root Extract, Willow Bark Extract, and Hydrogenated Castor Oil. 💚 What it Does: The Natural cellulose moisturizes skin after dead skin cells are removed. Like other peeling gels, this product is meant to gently exfoliate but this particular gel also claims to brighten the skin while exfoliating. The gel had only the lightest scent. After gently massaging it into damp skin, the product starts to clump up. I never know whether those clumps are dead skin cells or just the product 🤔 At any rate, after rinsing it off, my skin was left significantly smoother and my flaky dry patches were buffed away without feeling like my face had been scoured off. However, I can't say I noticed any brightening effects. This is a super solid peeling gel and is sold in a lot of places (including Amazon!), usually for no more than $15 (USD). I'd recommend it for anyone looking for gentle but effective physical exfoliation.

Let me just say one word that sums up my experience with this product! Amazing! The first time I used it I saw an immediate difference in how clean my complexion appeared. My skin looked different. The product contains cellulose a natural sugar in plants that cleans the skin. There is a slight odour you will smell. It is not bad, just different. Once you gently rub the product into your skin, tiny balls or flakes will form. This is the product gently exfoliating the skin cells. The product claims to contain Vitamins C, and E to help brighten and black willow which aids in the cleansing process. The product also claims to contain ingredients such as honey, treahalose and hollyhock which help nourish and moisturize the skin. I did the Try Now from 0.8L for My Skin Mentor Dr. G Brightening Peeling Gel made for all skin types that contains Natural cellulose which is rich in moisture and gently removes dead skin cells. Vitamin C, E, Natural Cotton & Black Willow ingredients give skin a natural brightened & clearing effect, while Honey, Trehalose, and Hollyhock gives it a moisturizing effect. This peeling gel is amazing. It's very simple to use. After cleaning my face, I applied proper amount to my wet face, gently massage, and it eliminated dead skin cell without irritating my skin. It contains Vitamin C, E which is promising to brighten effect. I really love this product.
