Besides the description that I saw with the campaign before purchasing, I had to go online to do a little more research before using. I tried it during my morning routine once, and found it to be too heavy to wear during the day, so instead opted to include it in my nighttime skincare routine. I applied it after cleansing, toning, and applying a serum, but before a moisturizer, and THATS when I started to see some results. I found that a lot of my redness was calmed the next morning, and that some inflammation near my nose was calmed. My skin has a lot of scars from cystic acne. I always hate taking pictures because I'm embarrassed by it. This cream has really helped a lot! It is thick when you put it on, but light weight and absorbant at the same time. It is now a part of my everyday routine and I can definitely see a difference. I was skeptical at first because of how thick is was when I smeared it on, but pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this product.

I haven’t seen any improvement of my skin barrier yet. The formula smells chemical, and made me worry about putting it on my skin. I’ve had a breakout since I started using it, and since I’m not on my period I’m very concerned that it might have been this cream. I’m sorry to say that I would not recommend this product, and would even tell my friends to avoid it if asked so that they don’t get a break out of red bumps. PROS: It does moisturize well at least CONS: Smells chemical A ton always comes out when squeezed slightly, difficult product design Caused break out??!!! Sooo this to me feels more like some kind of medicated drying ointment than an actual face cream. Going in I knew that this @atopalmusa cicarelief cream has calamine in it which is often used in acne drying/healing in addition to chicken pox if kids even get that anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but I figured that the madecassoside and panthenol would help in making it more soothing. In use this was great under makeup for a matte finish since it kind of dried out my face, but it's not the most comfortable dry for my already bone-dry skin. I actually think that oily skin types might appreciate this cream more as it does have a nice texture, and seems to absorb oil a bit throughout the day. . . . Thanks to @0.8L_usa I was able to try another Real Barrier product at a great discount in exchange for my honest review. This Real Barrier Cicarelief Cream is made to sooth sensitive or raw skin. Some of the suggested uses are to use after more harsh facial treatments, perhaps a facial peel, as well as in sun burns & even to help the treatment of poison ivy. I didn’t experience any of those issues since I’ve had this product to review. However, my boyfriend has eczema from time to time & he has been struggling with a small dry irritated skin on his forearm. This cream worked amazingly well! Within about 3 days, the patch was nearly gone! I am only sorry I didn’t get a before & after picture! I love having soothing “magic” cream like this on hand, especially going into the summer months. I could see it being great to use on anything from sun burns to bug bites! Sending a huge thank you to both companies for allowing me to try this out at a bargain! Good stuff! ✅

I had the pleasure of obtaining the @atopalmusa Real Barrier Cicarelief Cream for $3.99 from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest opinion. Atopalm is known for making amazing skincare products that aims at getting the skin to its optimal state. When I first attempted to squeeze the product out of the tube, I started from the bottom and the creamy watery pink cream ended up squirting out a lot of product. So user be warned. Be gentle because the cream is runny and the tube is not presurized. I was ready to be disappointed because I lightweight expected it to be moisturizing. However, I did some reading and the realized its main purpose is to soothe irritation and that it contained a high concentration of Calamine, Panthenol and Madecassoside to help protect, calm and sooth irritation. When applied to the skin it does have a heavy white cast (at least for me and my skin tone). It does not have the moisturizing effect other creams have. In fact it dries down to a matte dry finish. I had some irritated patches on my face and I used it on it. The next day they had significantly reduced. In all, my first impression of this product is that it is quite good when it comes to combating irritation, but it is not very moisturizing. If you have dry skin this is not a product you can use often. This cream is supposed to strengthen the skin barrier and can be used for spot treatments. I've been using it on my whole gave as part of my pm routine. Since starting, my skin has felt better and has less redness. The cream comes out of the tube with a medium consistency and turns smooth and silky when exposed to skin's warmth. It has a slightly medicinal smell to it. My skin loves cica ago I was excited to try this from 08l for a reduced price. The only thing I didn't love was that it doesn't seem to provide enough hydration on its own which I remedied by pairing with an oil and my sleeping pack as I have dry skin.

I cannot say enough good things about this face cream and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I got it for free! If you have problem skin of any kind then you need to go order some of this for yourself. Trust me on this! I've been using this several times a day since the moment it arrived. A month later I'm still discovering new ways to use it. It's very lightweight and absorbs so lightly that you can easily layer this under multiple other products, even another moisturizer! I was hoping it would dry with a matte finish like similar products and it doesn't, but the good news is that it's not oily or slimy! The idea of this particular face cream is to provide emergency moisture and repair to existing skin issues while also forming a barrier to protect skin from environmental irritants. The active ingredients are calamine, panthenol and madecassoside, which calm, soothe and protect. I've been using it to correct the dry, flakey skin on my nose and protect breakout-prone areas. I've noticed that my existing acne healed faster when using this moisturizer, probably because of the barrier created. As the weather warms up and we start to become active outdoors, this will also come in handy to care for sunburns and bug bites. I received the Real Barrier Cica Relief Cream for a significant discount in exchange for my honest review. I found the cream to be very Hydrating, and it absorbed quite quickly. It does have a thicker consistency than other products that I’ve tried. Remember, a little can go a long way. I was overall very happy with the product and felt that it soothed my dry skin.

The REAL BARRIER Cicarelief Cream attracted me with its use of calamine which is known for being ultra soothing & calming to irritated skin. I have a clay mask that contains it too & in my experience, it's not only soothing but also has a slight drying effect to it that is helpful to absorb oils and to address & prevent clogged pores. Indeed, the combo of healing madecassoside & soothing calamine was a total success for me. I REALLY fried myself about 10 days ago & was so pleased to see how well it worked. The pinkish cream is slightly runny in texture with a rich, silky feel to it. It has a medicinal odor that smells basically like calamine. One slight drawback I had with the cream is that it does require rubbing or working into the skin to get the calamine to absorb otherwise it leaves a pinkish/whitish cast. So if there is flaking skin, one has to find a way to work it in without disturbing the flaking layers too much. I found the "pat-pat-pat" method effective to work around this. Other than that slight drawback, I was very pleased to see how quickly my face rebounded from the latest "acid" event. Packaging design is simple & straightforward, no bells or whistles. A .35g tube retails around $26. I found it on Amazon for $29. A little goes a long way with this cream so I definitely think it's worth it for how effective it is. If you can’t tell, I’ve been really into Cica products... and what better time to use it when my skin is sensitized and breaking out! I’ve been eating so much dairy so I can break out and test these things for you guys!11!! Not actually 😢. - 🌿 Key Ingredients | Panthenol, Calamine, Madecassoside, Lavender oil, Orange Oil, Ceramide 3 🌿 Claims | Soothe, calm, and heal skin from external irritation and can be used on sunburned skin. 🌿 Texture | Very thick and creamy. I use it in target areas where I have acne and inflammation. 🌿 Results | I found that overnight my acne irritation subsided drastically. It didn’t really take away any redness but it does help a lot. I received the Real Barrier Cicarelief Cream from atopalmusa and overall I am happy with the product. It claims to sooth, help, and calm irritated skin from outside irritations and recover from any that might be there by restoring the skin barrier. The cream is a thicker consistency and has a pink tint. I found the best way to apply is first misting my skin which helps the cream to spread easier. It does not leave any residue and absorbs within about 30 seconds. I thought it would be more hydrating and moisturizing so I've been applying a hyaluronic acid before application or a stronger moisturizer after. It does a great job at calming and soothing the skin but because of the thickness I only use at night. The MLE skin barrier formula helps protect the skin from outside irritations by restoring skin barrier. 🌱 Packaging: it comes is a tin tube. 🌱 Texture: a light white cream color with dense creamy texture. 🌱 Scent: smells like herbs, which I love and don’t mind at all. 🌱 Spreadability : it’s a bit dense when I first spread it on my skin but once it’s warmer, it kind of melt and became easier to spread. 🌱 How I use: I use it as moisturizer in my AM and PM routine. I dotted some on my face before I gently rub and massage it on my skin. 🌱 Result: I had irritations about two weeks ago and this came right on time! It stopped my skin from itchiness on the same day I use it (due to Calamine), also helped calm the irritations a lot. The irritations were gone in about 3 days of use. It has velvety matte finish, which is good for daytime use. My skin is less shiny and oily (and I found out it’s due to Boron Nitride ingredient that helped absorbs oil production, thanks to @colebiancardi for the thorough review. It does leave white cast when I use it a lot (like really really a lot) but when I use it in moderate size, like Skittle size, it doesn’t leave any white case at all, rather it made my skin complexion looked brighter and more even tone. I guess it’s a good thing since usually my skin gets red when I got irritations and it helped even it out. It is hydrating but as for now, I still apply face oil on top for nighttime use. It’s more suitable for summer use IMO. The next day, I woke up with the most even complexion and less oil compared to usual. 🌱 Overall: 4/5 I would recommend this cream, it really helped with my irritated skin. However, if you are dry/combi skin type and looking for hydration from this cream, this is not what you want. But if you have oily skin and want a light moisturizer that could help diminish the shine throughout the day and helped strengthen your skin barrier at the same time, this is for you.
