I think the texture is closest to an emulsion product. It has a very light citrus scent that isn’t overpowering and does not linger. . 🤔Reflect & Conclusion: This is the newest sunscreen from dear, Klairs. I ordered it in September and due to popular demand they ran out of inventory and couldn’t ship it until late October. Therefore, I’ve only used it for 2 weeks. But within the 2 weeks, I can confidently conclude my thoughts on it. . The name is what piqued my interest because I’ve never used a sun essence before. I thought the texture would be more fluid but it feels like an emulsion texture with a moisturizing finish on the skin. On my combo skin, it took some time to fully absorb. But once it absorbed the sunscreen changed to an airy, light and almost powdery finish on my skin. I agree with most of the claims in that it’s lightweight and invisible with no white cast. However, I think the sunscreen can be greasy for combo & oily skin types and for me it was sometimes. I had to change my AM skincare routine around quite a bit in order to figure out which products worked best with it. I determined that the sunscreen was too heavy on top of a cream moisturizer, with or without makeup on top. It worked best with lighter layers of hydration such as toner, essence, and serum. And the sunscreen finish, once fully absorbed, worked well underneath makeup. . So...I would recommend it, but it’s not my favorite texture of sunscreen because it took to much work to make it work. I think if you are in the market to try a new sunscreen then yes go for it. But if you already have one that you love then skip this one. Perhaps it’s just hyped up because it’s new and people love shiny new things. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Right now I wouldn’t repurchase it because I have others I like better. However, I will keep this one and see if it performs better for me in the spring/ summer time. . Dear Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ . 🌞Claims: An everyday sun protector for sensitive skin. Since this is a water based formula, it’ll give a soft weightless and light finish. It also completely guards the skin against UVA and UVB without the greasiness and white cast. (@wishtrend) . 🌞Texture and Scent: Honestly love the texture of the product, it reminds me of emulsions, it’ll really sink into the skin (with just a little patting motion). I’m also really happy to say that this has zero scent (well nothing that my sensitive nose could really smell) although I do see that it has citrus oil in it (which I don’t really have an issue with as its the last ingredient in the list) . 🌞Results: Throughout the 2 weeks that I’ve been using this, I’m happy to announce that I found my HG suncreen!! I love the texture, the nonexistent scent, the finish of the product. I’ve tried multiple sunscreens that claimed the same as this does, but had a very strong alcohol scent (which honestly was just as bad as having a scent on it imo) and even those left me a greasy finish that really needed a powder to lessen the unwanted shine of my skin. This made my skin look so dewy and healthy (without the unnecessary strong scent of alcohol and oily look on my skin). This also performed well under my foundation, which is usually an issue for me due to some sunscreens pilling. The best part of it too is that it’s size (80ml) is quite generous!! It differs from the common (50ml) tubes. Additionally, I’ve never gotten into the habit of reapplying sunscreen 😓 but I’ve never had an issue with this. I just dot a bit of it on my face, and blend it in with my cushion puff. this is a water-based sunscreen whose name describes the product perfectly. it dispenses like a gel but applies like a serum/essence. it leaves no white cast or tackiness and smells faintly of like a sweet lemon dessert. . some ingredients: -sea buckthorn oil: moisturizes -tocopherol: antioxidant that fights against free radicals -panthenol (natural humectant) + beta-glucan (helps stimulate collagen, speeds up healing process, moisturizes) + allantoin: soothes/relieves irritation -niacinamide: brightens overall skin tone -contains some essential oils: chamomile & orange . this is a really great sunscreen & i haven't experienced any negative reactions so far! it's very easy to apply & is pretty cooling afterwards. my only con is with the packaging... it doesn't have the stopper/nob inside the lid so even when it's screwed shut, i can still squeeze the bottle & it will deflate but inflate again once i let go. while this product looks sleek & nice, i think this was pretty big oversight unless it's just my tube that is doing this...

I was waiting for it long time but it was so worth it. It is super light, untraceable on skin almost. My skin loves it from day one … and my skin basicly hates sunscreen, but this one is love. It is light, it is powerful and it looks very nice on skin. Short time to dry, no stickiness, no tackiness and wears perfectly during the day under makeup (or whatever makeupy layer I will have, concealer or brightening essence) It does not itch on skin! There is no redness, no irritation and no breakouts (and with that, oh man, half of the sunscreens I tried can do easily), there is no thick layer, no greasiness. I was super psyched when I snagged this coveted sunscreen essence. Admittedly (terriblly) sunscreen is not something I regular use. I am rarely outside and I need to get better about using it either way for the few minutes I am outside. Insert Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence. This has SPF 50 and absorbs easily into skin. What I loved is that it’s clear and doesn’t leave a white finish. The consistency is more of a gel as opposed to your typical sunscreen. This did not have the chalky feel that sunscreens usually do and left my skin feeling moisturized. The only downside is the price, this is around $23 on Amazon . Overall, I’ve loved the Klairs brand as a whole and this was another great product. Thank you to 0.8L for sending this in exchange for your honest review.

If you haven’t already seen our reviews: spoiler alert - we love it. This may be the one true sunscreen. This is a chemical sunscreen with both UVA and UVB filters, being diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (UVA protection) and ethylhexyl triazone (UVB protection). It has my preferred amount of sun protection - SPF50+ (UVB) and PA++++ (UVA). It leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturized - but not overly moisturized to the point of being greasy. It has a slight off-white tint which is perfect because no pesky white cast is left behind nor does it take long for the sunscreen to absorb into your skin. If you’ve used the Krave Beauty sunscreen, this is very similar but the main difference is it leaves me considerably less oily over the course of the day. I sometimes even skip my regular moisturizer since I find it hydrating enough (but I have oily skin). I highly recommend this if you’re in the market for a new sunscreen! It’s water based and vegan, yay! This off-white cream is unscented and has a lighter (almost fluffy) texture for a cream. Swipe for the complete list of ingredients. I'll start off with- I love this! My skin can be picky when it comes to face spf creams. This one isn't heavy, doesn't leave me shiny, and there's no white cast. It absorbs quickly and doubles as a light cream. I've been using this after my emulsion step when my skin doesn't need an extracream.  cream step prior. And makeup applies great over it. My new fav spf! I’m always on the hunt for a new sunscreen. I like what I currently use, but it’s inevitable that sooner or later every skincare product I love disappears, so I like to know I have alternative options. I picked up the Klairs Soft Airy Uv Essence (both at a discount from 0.8L and from Wishtrend’s eBay store) and tested it out for a few weeks. I enjoy it’s light texture and no white cast, as well as no added fragrance. It does the job for my skin, but keep in mind I also don’t spend too much time outdoors. This is the brand new Klair's Soft Airy UV Essence Everyday Sun Protector. This sunscreen took months to get to me, like literally months, but it finally did arrive and I'm now able to give my review. This is a soft weightless, invisible daily sunscreen that guards against UVA and UVB rays without leaving a greasy or white finish. It has SPF 50 in it, a gel texture and is vegan-friendly. There are also no additives and are suppose and it is supposed to be great for sensitive skin. It also comes in a quite large 80 mL bottle, so it will last you quite some time if you're only using it on your face. I do like this sunscreen, however I do find it it's very moisturizing which means that sometimes it doesn't sink very well if I have a lot of layers of moisture on before it. It's definitely not my most comfortable sunscreen I've ever used, I still prefer the Missha sun milk, however I love how it feels on my arms and my neck and that's really important for me as well. It has no discernible smell to it either which is great. I would recommend this sunscreen to others which is saying a lot for me because I really don't recommend a lot of sun screens. So thank you @klairs and @0.8L_USA for allowing me to try out this this nice new sunscreen for a trial fee.

🌞 KLAIRS Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 Impressions: I have fallen hopelessly in love with this wonderful new SPF 50+ Sunscreen from KLAIRS. I sampled a variety of different sunscreens this past year & there were 2 stellar standouts & the KLAIRS was definitely one of them. It’s a broad spectrum sunscreen so it guards against both UVA & UVB sun rays in addition to a PA++++ rating which indicates it offers extremely high UVA protection - perfect for life in ever sunny Southern California. The lightweight lotion is slightly runny with a creamy gel-like texture which leaves my skin super moisturized & has absolutely no white cast. This is a chemical sunscreen but it utilizes one of the newer sunblocks on the market that’s extremely gentle on my skin and causes no tingling or irritation which is often the case for me with chemical sunscreens. I was so stoked to discover this. Plus in checking out the ingredient list it’s also supported by skin friendly botanicals & oils that make it so moisturizing. I love to use this in the daytime following my AM routine & prior to makeup application. I use a generous amount (see pic) and the water-based formula spreads around easily & sinks in quickly without a heavy feeling. It does leave my skin feeling dewy & slightly tacky but I have no issues with it since I’d much rather feel slightly tacky than dry & flaky which happens so frequently with mineral-based sunscreens. I love the healthy glow it gives my complexion. Really, really great stuff!! I use a lot of sunscreen on a daily basis & always have a couple different brands in rotation to fit my needs. As soon as I introduced this one into my routine, I found myself reaching for it day after day. It retails for $23 for 80ml and can be found on Amazon & the Wishtrend site. ✨Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence✨ . I have been using this sunblock for the past three weeks non-stop and I honestly don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. . It’s a water based, gel texture that feels light like a serum/emulsion. It sinks right in and leaves a radiant glow finish. Not sticky, or tacky. My skin feels comfortable and happy in this cool weather. There is no smell or fragrance that I can detect and it doubles up as a primer under makeup. . It’s made for sensitive skin which is perfect for me since my overly hormonal pregnant skin is so sensitive right now. I haven’t had any issues using this so I highly recommend it. I will say it would probably be better for normal, combo and dry skin types since it’s packed with emollients. Oily skin might be able to get away with using this during the winter but I feel like it would be too much during the warmer months. . This is a chemical sunblock so there is no whitecast. The uv filters for this sunblock are: ~ diethylamino hydroxy benzoyl hexyl benzoate (uva) ~ ethylhexyl triazone (uvb). . Other notable ingredients are: ~ Seabuckthorn oil (rich in omega 6, lenoleic acid, oleic acid and fatty acids) ~ beta-glucan (anti-inflammatory) ~ adenosine (anti-wrinkle) . The ‘airy’ in its name and the weightless claim are dead-on; it is that lightweight. It is because of these features why application and reapplication are such a joy and hassle-free. 🙌🏼 No breakouts, clogged pores, stinging of eyes were experienced with this 👍🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me, sunscreen is the only product wherein ‘a little goes a long way’ is not applicable. It is always better to apply MORE than be stingy. That’s why NOT having a white cast is important—I tend to scrimp when I notice that a sunscreen is leaving white streaks or making my face white. Though, of course, newer research suggests that using sunscreen with a higher SPF can offset underapplication (applying half of recommended amount), so that’s another point to Klairs for having SPF 50 to those who apply poorly! 💪🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ UV filters used: ~ against UVA: Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate/DHHB (Uvinul A Plus) ~ against UVB: octyl triazone or ethylhexyl triazone (Uvinul T 150) Some might wonder if two filters are enough to give adequate protection. I am no expert, so I searched about this and found an article stating DHHB and octyl triazone both cover the full UV spectrum and the formulation plays a huge part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The price point isn’t that bad too. Back then, I only thought of sunscreen as something you’d put on when going swimming and/or doing activities that require you to be under the scorching heat for a long time. It is only two years ago that I started wearing sunscreen religiously. I have only tried a few ones and I have yet to find something that I’d call my HG. . This sunscreen was highly anticipated for that it took a while for it to reach me, so when I finally got it, I got on to testing it right away. . Among all the sunscreens I have tried, I actually love this the most. Despite it being described as having a water-based gel texture, this doesn’t feel like it at all. It actually feels like a light moisturizer, which is perfect for my dry skin. However, unlike products with such consistency, this feels very lightweight, non-greasy and its almost as if its not there. It also doesn’t have that distinct sunscreen smell (it does have a bit of that plastic-y scent, though) and doesn’t give you a whitecast. . All these, plus the fact that its good for sensitive skin, in a tube of 80ml goodness? Coming at you with a wintertime sunscreen review. Cuz that sun protection don't stop even if 95% of my body is wrapped in wool 🐑🐑🐑 ya feel me? . . . Please meet the @dear_klairs everyday sun protector with the slightly crooked label. I've been using this pretty consistently (meanin not switching to other brands) and this is a fantastic formula. It's a clear gel, dries down kinda matte for me, and doesn't cause any pilling 🙆🏻‍♀️ love it. some other main points from the brand are: . ✓ Water-based, gel type texture ✓ Soft, weightless finish, no white cast ✓ Perfect under makeup ✓ Suitable for all skin types, no additives, non-irritating ✓ With Niacinamide, Adenosine, Panthenol, Beta-Glucan, Sea Buckthorn Oil ✓ Absolute protection from UVA and UVB rays (no metal oxide filters) . . . it also doesn't really have a fragrance and has a vegan formula. The price isn't bad either, it seems to hover around 20 usd for 80ml. I would definitely say check it out if you're looking for a clear and light sunscreen. This sunscreen checks off all the boxes: ✔️Beautiful holographic packaging ✔️Squeeze tube container ✔️Lightweight consistency so it spreads and applies super easy/fast ✔️Delicate fragrance ✔️Leaves skin soft matte ✔️No white cast or pilling at all ✔️No irritation • ☀️The only tiny issue I noticed is if I applied this sunscreen around the eye areas, after some time, it will migrate into my eyes. Then an oily film will create and affect my visions. It did take a lot of work and eye drops to clear this oily film. • Do I recommend this product? Heck yes!! I already purchased 2 on Black Friday. I have to give a shout out to #Klairs and #08L for the opportunity to try this SPF Essence at a discounted rate, for purpose of review. The claims (as found on the Wishtrend website): For all skin types, low irritant daily sun essence.  20 types of ingredients, no additives, all components EWG green level.  A perfect sunscreen made by Klairs for sensitive skin.  The absolute UV protection to choose, use and trust on your skin everyday. A water-based sunscreen, that is non-sticky, light, and fresh. With its soft, light and transparent finish the Soft Airy UV Essence protects the skin from UVA and UVB without any stickiness and white cast. Absolute protection to UV rays, that your skin is exposed daily.  By including high light stability components, high UV stability is achieved while minimizing skin irritation. My Experience: As you may know by now, I'm entirely too honest when it comes to reviewing products, and today will be no exception! This sunscreen is AHHH-MAZING. Seriously . The light, water type, cream spreads beautifully and a little spot covers A LOT of space! I've never experienced sunscreen like Klairs Soft Airy Essence....it's truly an essence that fully absorbs into skin, leaves no greasy residue or white-cast. Did I mention that it can be applied under or over makeup?! I can't vouch for the protection from the sun, as winter has begun where I live, but I love the hydrated feel of my skin! I totally Recommend this product to everyone! Rating: 5/5 stars

klairs Soft Airy UV Essence An everyday sun protector SPF 50+ PA++++ It claims to be soft, weightless, and invisible daily sunscreen that guards against UVA, UVB without greasiness or white cast. Huge claims and sounds too good to be true in a sunscreen but WOW this one really blew me away. This is definitely in my top 3 sunscreens. It's water based gel texture really sinks into the skin leaving it soft and it has a primer-ish finish but in a good way. No noticeable scent which is a plus for me. I love this so much that I bought a couple of backups during wishtrend Black Friday sale.
