APRILSKIN Real Calendula Deep Moisture Essence About April Skin: 🌼Aprilskin is a cosmetic brand that sells products that rejuvenate skin cells to reveal beautiful and healthy skin. Aprilskin was established in 2014 in Korea and just renewed their US website. CLAIMS: 🌼contains 80% calendula water. (Marigold water) 🌼restores radiance and suppleness to the skin provides pore tightening effects with patented pore reduction complex technology. My Thoughts: 🌼I cleansed and toned my face first then dispensed a small amount of the Essence and gently tapped it onto my face. I wondered as it has a scent if I would have a problem with the scent. The scent dissipated quickly as it was quickly absorbed by my dry skin. The Essence left my skin moderately hydrated and was not sticky. I dislike sticky so it was a plus to me that it wasn’t sticky. I would have preferred no scent but it being of flower origin, I suppose it was to be expected although I only learned that once I’d received the product. I don’t always have time to research prior to buying and we do not often have more than 24 hours notice of a product dropping. I still advocate for products being up front about scents. It would save us sensitive people some discomfort if we knew in advance that we should not consider a product because it is scented. 🌼Thank you to April Skin and to 0.8 liter for making this product available to me at a modest price in exchange for my honest review. 🌼🌼🌼

Hi y'all!🙋‍♀️ I'm so excited to be reviewing a new Aprilskin product, their 🌼Calendula🌼 Deep Moisture Essence. This comes in a 3.52 ounce bottle with a dropper dispenser that normally retails for $24, but is currently on sale for $19.20 on their website (aprilskin.us.com). This essence has been formulated using a whopping 80% real 🌼Calendula🌼 flowers. All parts of the 🌼Calendula🌼 flower were sourced in their pure, raw form, including the petals, stamen, pistil, & calyx to soothe & protect the skin. Additionally, 🌼Calendula🌼 also has antibacterial & antiseptic properties that help to fight acne, while 🌼Calendula's🌼 anti-inflammatory properties help to calm skin. This essence has also been formulated with 5 different types of hyaluronic acids & their patented pore-tightening formula "Anti-Sebum P Complex" which is comprised of Evening Primrose flower, Kudzu Root, Longleaf Pine, & Japanese Elm. This promises to smooth, hydrate, & soothe the skin, balance oil levels, tighten pores, & brighten your complexion. Clinical studies show that after one day of use hydration levels increased from an average of 18.5% to 75.8%!! Skin temperature decreased an average from 93.4°F to 86.4°F. Take comfort in knowing that this essence is free from the following: 🚫sulfates, 🚫parabens, 🚫artificial fragrance, 🚫gluten, 🚫toxins, & 🚫irritants. Directions: Use AM & PM after cleansing & toning. Squeeze 2-3 drops into hand or directly onto your face, and use both hands to apply evenly to face & neck, lightly patting in the remaining essence. My thoughts💭: The first thing I really liked was the natural 🌼Calendula🌼 The pieces of 🌼Calendula🌼 melt into the skin completely, as does the essence, without stickiness or greasiness. You're left with soft, plump, hydrated skin that has a radiant glow! I'm really looking forward to trying out the rest of the 🌼Calendula🌼 line! I received Aprilskin Calendula Deep Moisture Essence at a discount in exchange for my honest review. Thankfully this Korean product has a sticker on the box with English Directions, Ingredients, and Cautions. I love this product! Very pleasant light citrus fragrance. Attractive and useful bottle with eyedropper style applicator. Essence quickly and easily soaks into skin. Immediate and long lasting moisturization that I can see and feel on my skin.

The Real Calendula Deep Moisture Essence is designed to help recover from skin conditions caused by stress and revitalize skin with moisture for a healthy-looking complexion. The essence contains 100 grams (3.52 oz) and has a slightly floral citrus scent. The essence comes in a hard plastic bottle with a dropper. The essence is clear and has a watery gel texture. It spreads out really nicely and has a very hydrating feeling on the skin. It soaks into the skin with a slightly tacky finish. Recommended use is after neatly applying toner onto the skin, apply the essence and gently massage it over the skin for better absorption. This essence is also more effective when exfoliating before use. After using, this essence is pretty great, it’s very similar to the sheet mask that APRILSKIN also does and it’s very hydrating. The fragrance is pretty strong so it may be an irritant for people with sensitive skin but it does fade pretty quickly. The essence has a tacky finish so it really does help to seal in the moisture. Due to the high content of calendula extract, it’s very soothing and helps to tone down redness and blemishes. The packaging is nice quality and I love the dropper. There’s also a lot of product so it should last for quite a while. I’d recommend this to anyone with redness, skin with blemishes and people who need something soothing. What I like: this essence is very hydrating and soothing, the ingredients are very nourishing. The packaging is really pretty and sturdy and I love the dropper feature. It sinks nicely into the skin and really moisturizes the skin and preps it nicely for anything after. There’s also a lot of product included. What I don’t like: I don’t mind the strong fragrance but I do believe it’s an irritant and I wish it was less overwhelming. Rating: 9/10

It's also used as an antiseptic." . After my morning regiment for my face I applied the Aprilskin essence and let it dry. However, I did not see my skin becoming brighter or even It shine. the brightness only came after applying my morning moisturizing cream. Yet, I do feel after using it for a week that my skin does feel firmer and tighter so yes I do say that it does have some good properties to it. It does keep my skin moisturized even before I play any other moisturizer or any other face creams. I do use it morning and night. aA far as anti-inflammatory properties I did not have any problems in my face. However, I did use it on my my right knee scar and it does help with moisture of the scar absorption creme have an offers less tingling in that area. . I love this brand but if you have sensitive skin, I recommend you don't use their products with other brands. The packaging is very fresh, beautiful and elegant. The bottle is a generous size, so it will last you a while. What I love is the smell and how it feels against my skin. It definitely has that citrus scent, for those who love oranges. I made sure to use it by itself without any other products. My skin felt soft and moisturized. There's no tackiness. It sinks deep into your skin quickly, so you don't have to wait for it to dry. I actually applied it a few times because of how quickly it sinks into your skin. There's a subtle glow that doesn't look shiny, just like you've been drinking water and minding your business. I definitely love this essence. It's going to be in my top 3 favorite essence and serum.

The applicator is so nice and helps to measure out the amount I need. This product has been gentle for me and worked wonderfully. It soaked into my skin with no problem and hydrated it. I really like its light scent. I believe the bottle will last a while since so little product is needed.

I’ve always been a fan of essence it is just like a toner but a little bit more moisturizing to the skin. It really helps any kind of serums penetrate the skin better making the absolute most of your skincare products. This essence in particular is pretty good. I love the packaging it comes in a really big bottle which will most likely last a substantial amount of time. The dropper is nice and long and it sort of has a seal on top to keep it from getting contaminated. The essence looks quite interesting, I believe it has flower petals in it and the consistency of the essence is a little thick but absorbs into the skin instantly. My skin felt very hydrated after applying the essence and worked great with all the serums I apply to my face. I had no type of irritation or bad reaction while using this essence my skin actually looked quite beautiful and was glowing. My skin felt smooth and soft and didn’t feel tacky what so ever which is great because with some essence they do tend to leave a tacky like feeling to the skin. The only thing I didn’t like about this Essence from April skin is the scent. I don’t really know how to describe the scent but it was a little off putting and did sort of take my breath away. Other than that it was a pretty amazing product and I would certainly buy it in the future. P.S 😉😉 Calendula has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds. It also has really good anti-inflammatory properties.

I received a full sized sample of Aprilskin Real Calendula Deep Moisture Essence for review and I must say that I love this product and how it feels on my skin. It has a light citrusy scent and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily afterwards like some moisturizers tend to do nor does it feel sticky. My skin feels moisturized and has a dewy glow.

I was sent Aprilskin real calendula deep moisture essence for my honest review. I have experienced calendula previously through other brands but not in essence form. First , I love the packaging, the frosted plastic bottle and super long dropper. Secondly , I also love the smell of calendula, it was not heavily fragrant. It really went in to the skin and the scent was subtle. I loved that it also dried down to like a semi tacky feel not really glue like. Thirdly , I didn’t break out and didn’t feel any texture on my skin.

You can see the little flower pieces mixed in! • The cleanser has such a unique texture to it. It's a gel, but it is super thick and gloopy. I really love the way that it cleanses. It doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped at all. • The essence is more like a serum texture to me, so I use it in that step of my routine. This has such great ingredient list with 80% Calendula Flower Water as first on the list and five different Hyaluronic Acids!!! • I'm really enjoying using these products as they help to keep skin so hydrated and glowy! I absolutely love this product! It not only moisturizers my skin, but it leaves my skin with a beautiful, dewy glow! After using the product for about a week or so, my skin is noticeably smoother and healthier. This is definitely my new fave!
