First off, it's fragrance free which I really love. It is easily absorbed by the skin which leaves the skin feeling silky, not sticky. It is also calming on the face, I noticed that it makes my redness go away. A little bit cooling as well and isn't irritating to the skin at all.

I have dehydrated skin with a lot of rough texture due to enlarged pores, this essence is everything! Pure 100% Artemisia. it's basically a full bodied tonic that provides essential benefits directly into the skin. I've been using this every single day & my texture has improved so much. Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence is so refreshing! I use it in the morning to hydrate my skin in a gentle way and to prep my skin for my other skincare products. I've been really into essences lately and Vely Vely Artemisia Balance sounds like right up my alley! I think it's a great first step of skincare routine and felt comfortable on my sensitive skin. I had never heard of Artemisia extract before, so I looked it up. It seems to be a good antioxidant source, which sounds good to me! I wish it came in a spray bottle!

I have sensitive and oily combination skin and was interested to see how this @velyvely_global Artemisia Balance Essence would work. Artemisia is an herb that purports to improve brightness and add moisture to the skin. The product also contains beta carotene and Vitamin A which increases skin elasticity. I used this right after washing my face by dabbing it on a cotton square and then patting it into my face and neck. After that, I soaked around 4 squares and placed them on my face (forehead, nose, cheeks) for around 20 minutes while I enjoyed my favorite T.V. show. On my first night of using this, my skin became very dry. I decided to not give up because I was introducing a new product to my routine. I tried it again for a few days and my skin was itchy and rashy. I also had a few blemishes. Finally, in these last few days, my skin did tighten up and it is smoother. I am absolutely loving the VELY VELY Artemisia Balance Essence! This is my first time using an essence in my skincare routine, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how hydrated my skin feels after using it. I love how easy it is to use and how fast it absorbed into my skin. I just squeeze it onto my hands and pat into my skin. I use it right after washing my face, and before I apply my serums and moisturizer. I also really enjoy the light herbal fragrance it has! I definitely recommend and will continue using this everyday in my skincare routine.

Essence as a skincare step originated from Korea. @velyvely_global is a Korean brand. Coming to this essence, it is an Artemisia Balance Essence. Artemis Capillaris extract is the only ingredient in this essence. It help in even skintone, soothe irritation and redness, nourish, and improve skin condition and vitality. As you know, I have recently started using a toner with glycolic acid, so I have added essence as the next step to provide hydration to my skin. I have infact included it in my day time routine too, right before my moisturizer. I like the instant absorption into the skin and the hydration that it provides. I applied this product before bed to be able to add to my daily an night time skincare regime. It's easy to apply by patting on your face an absorbs quickly without leaving your face greasy. After applying the next day my face was softer feeling upon touch, smoother, moisturized, an well hydrated which is a plus because I have combination skin an this didn't break my face out but provided an adequate boost to my rather dry face after a long day of wearing a mask at work for 8 hours. This is now a new product I've added to my nightly skincare routine as it leaves my face feeling refreshed an softer after each use!

This is an essence that works easily into my routine and contains ingredients I’ve been wanting to try for some time. The ingredient Mugwort (Artemisia) has been popular in Korean skincare for quite some time, and is known to have antibacterial and antifungal properties. Could be good for people prone to bacterial acne issues. It’s calming on the skin, giving a soothing feeling that I really enjoy! I have combination skin and had no issues with this particular product!

The Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence worked well. It has a bit of an herbal scent. Nothing too off-putting. I found the essence absorbed quickly into the skin. It's refreshing and cooling to my skin. I didn't have any redness or adverse reaction. I did feel that it could be a bit more hydrating for my dry skin. I may have to apply more of the essence to buildup hydration. I didn't have any issues with my existing skincare products. I've been using it for a few days now and feel it's about average for a toner. It offers an added step to my skincare routine. It's a quick one and I feel my skin may benefit from it over time. So far it's a bit too early to tell. I sent a complimentary product for my reviewing and testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
