Have you incorporated any essence products into your skincare routine yet? I was recently gifted this lovely Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence and I adore it. The fragrance is very light and natural and is soothing to my senses. This essence really helps to hydrate my skin and improve the texture. It effectively refreshes my skin prior to serums, creams and lotions without irritation. I like that it is 87% Artemesia extract and that is the primary ingredient. It improves skin texture and evens out your skin tone. Essence is a must have in my skincare routine and I've tried a variety of different ones. I've stuck with my Hanskin essence for awhile now because its affordable and does the job. But I will say I actually have really enjoyed using this essence just as much, if not more. The difference for me is this essence by Vely Vely hydrates my skin more and it also gives me a beautiful looking glow. It definitely helped with moisturizing some dry spots I had on my eyelids and around my nose. I use this product after cleansing my face by gently patting the essence into my skin. I need to start out with saying I love this brand, I have a cushion from this brand and it's my go to everyday. That being said I was so excited for this toner. It has this wonderful fragrance. It's so natural smelling. It has a slight green color to it and that just shows that's its derived from natural ingredients. The first night I used it I soaked a cotton round and after reading the box I now put some on my hands and pat it into my skin. It absorbed to quickly and I like how it makes my skin feel.

This is my first experience with an essence product and I'm honestly in love. I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin and it helps my skin feel extra moisturized. Its very thin, watery like so I'll probably end up using it first after cleansing. It also has no fragrance that I can smell so that's another thing I love about this.

It does not interfere with my cosmetics, either--in fact, it helps my foundation have a smoother surface to work on. ✅I love that it's just Artemisia essence & nothing else. This product is formulated with Artemisia Extract which leaves your skin feeling hydrated with a bright, natural glow. This is a very light texture that helps balance moisture and oil control. The color is brown when it comes out, and due to the water type formula, it rapidly absorbs into my combination/dry skin. I use it right after I wash my face and follow it up with moisturizer. Do you like mugwort skincare products? A very long overdue review of Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) Another one for my mugwort essence collection! This is made with 100% Artemisia Capillaris Extract, which is a new type of mugwort for me! This is a traditional Chinese medicine herb, used for over 2000 years ~ It actually has Chinese 2 names, depending on when it is harvested ~ it is known as Yin Chen Hao (茵陳蒿) for an autumn harvest & Mian Yin Chen(綿茵陳) for the summer harvest. Mugwort is a soothing, anti-inflammatory herb & capillaris naturally contains compounds like BHA salicylic acid, skin soothing beta sitosterol & antioxidant beta-carotene Mugwort helps heal skin wounds, such as blemishes, as it has antibacterial & anti fungal properties & it is a topical anesthetic. It contains a rich source of antioxidants as well & has been known to reduce & lighten hyper-pigmentation caused by age, sun damage & blemishes. It is very well suited for all skin types, including sensitive skin Vely Vely harvests their mugwort from the South Korean Gyeongbuk region, selecting only high quality leaves & sun drying it. Vely Vely then extracts the active ingredients with a tincture method, running it thru twice for 700 hours total. The extract is then aged at low temperatures for 260 hours before bottling it. The natural golden-green shade & herbal scent is from the mugwort itself, with no added color or fragrance. The reason why these single essences are so expensive is the extraction method & the special technology behind it Vely Vely comes in a tall plastic bottle, which I appreciate over glass bottles and has the standard pinhole applicator. This is very watery & does not have a greasy or oily residue. It also has a lovely light mugworty scent, very herbal. I like to apply several layers on my skin when it feels tight & oily (yes, oily skin can feel tight!) I do notice that my skin looks more even as the redness has been toned down, not tight anymore as this is quite hydrating & with repeated, regular use, my skin's texture is more refined as my pore's appearance is smaller. Like with any ingredient, this may work for you or it may not. the product claims to firm, hydrate, and offer rich nutrition, to improve skin barrier, even skin tone. and balance skin overall. it's comprised of just one ingredient, 100% Artemis (mugwprt), which is known for its calming and soothing properties. its consistency is like water- reminds me of aftershave for men. I didn't use a cotton ball to apply it because I didn't want to waste I nd single drop, instead I applied it by splashing onto my skin. I've got the artemisia balance essence from @velyvely_global about 3 weeks ago. It's powerful antioxidant with vitamin E! Essence is created to help balancing and soothing while moisturizing our skin. I have been using it as a toner for 2 weeks and I have already noticed visible skin improvements. VELY VELY Artemisia Balance Essence has really helped toned my skin and balance out my oily skin! I've been using it day and night! I'll admit the color kind of worried me but after trying it I had no worries since it didn't leave a green residue but left my skin feeling fresh and clean!

I’ve been alternating my Sulhwasoo Water with @velyvely_global essence before moisturizing, and my skin feels so smooth. 100% Artemisia Extract for moisture balance, calming redness, collagen boosting and anti-aging. Recommend it to all!

First I adore the packaging and primarily the fact that it contains 5.07 oz of product for $43 on @amazon. So this product is going to last you did a really really long time as it is not essentially an everyday skincare item. The texture is a clear liquid and has very mild earthy fragrance. The essence almost disappears into the skin on contact and can work as a soothing skin prep, is non sticky and ideal for sensitive skin!!
