This is a wonderful first step after cleansing. I simply put some essence on cotton pads, then apply to my face and let sit for 5-10 minutes before removing the pads and pressing the product gently into my skin. This not only acts as an essence, but a toner as well. Containing 100% Artemisia extract, it has a subtle herbal scent, easily absorbs, and provides moisture as well as improving skin texture and clarity.

🌿(*PR/gifted) As I’m a sensitive-skinned gal living in the pollen-filled swamps of Florida, the @velyvely_official Artemesia Balance Essence has been on my radar for quite some time. So, I was quite excited to give it a try when it came up on @0.8l_usa (especially now, as the spring/summer tends to be Rashy Face/Neck Season for me 🥲). 🌿 Vely Vely is a cruelty free Korean skincare company founded in 2015 that focuses on improving skin health in order to “help you find your glow.” 🌿 The single ingredient in the Artemesia Balance Essence is Artemesia Capillaris Extract. Artemesia (also known as mugwort) is an important healing herb in Korean skincare. It’s extremely soothing and anti-inflammatory and can help with skin conditions like eczema, acne, and psoriasis, calming the irritation and bringing down the redness. It’s also a powerful antioxidant, with it protective powers compared to those of vitamin C. Others compare it to tea tree oil for its strong antibacterial properties. Artemesia is so highly regarded in Korea that it’s made into a tea, and at traditional Korean bath houses you can soak in artemisia-infused baths. 🌿 Although I have only been using this for a few weeks, I can definitely attest to its soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory properties. As luck would have it, I have had a couple of pesky neck rashes/irritations spring up in the past few weeks, and this has done an incredible job of soothing the inflamed skin. It actually *completely* cured one rash that had popped up overnight, taking away all signs of redness and irritation and leaving me with calm, happy skin. I’ve been very impressed, and would absolutely repurchase it in the future. Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, the Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence claims to soothe and hydrate skin, minimize pore size, and provide for a more even skin tone. After using this product, I am happy to report that for my experience, these claims proved true. Vegan and cruelty free, this product is a first step in daily/nightly skin care. Easy to apply to skin with a cotton round, this product smells wonderful and feels so nice as it absorbs into the skin. I find that my moisturizer products absorb better after using this product. First time trying a product from @velyvely_official and, I am so in love with it! This is the Artemisia Balance Essence, it's formulated with 100% Artemisa Capillaris extract. The essence helps to even skin tone, soothe irritation and redness, nourish and improve skin condition. I've been using this product for a couple of weeks, my skin looks healthy and brighter. Also, I find it very hydrating, it doesn't feels sticky, and absorbs quickly. I really enjoy the subtle herbal, soothing and calming scent, very similar to chamomile. Looking forward to try more products from this brand!

I like the packaging. It’s simple, neat and straight to the point. It has a slight herb scent but nothing off putting. It’s a very watery consistency. This beauty is meant to hydrate, soothe and even out your skin tone. Help brighten your skin with all the wonderful vitamins, minerals and antioxidants it contains. Leaving your complexion better, balanced and with minimized pores. I have very dry skin and I’m moving up on the age ladder, so yes I’m seeing fine lines starting to form (that’s life 🤷🏻‍♀️), mostly my smile lines. Their Key ingredient Artemisia is known for healing and having soothing properties for aging skin. That stimulates collagen production to diminish fine lines, redness and recharge your skin. That’s exactly what my skin needs and wants. It absorbs beautifully into the skin. Feels refreshing. Doesn’t leave a sticky or tacky residue. I love that it provides my skin with another layer of hydration. I find it as a great addition to my skincare routine and can’t wait to further test this to the fullest to see the long run affects.♡

The essence is super watery. It smells really great and it feels calming when you apply it to your face. I really enjoyed the smell of the product. The bottle was pretty easy to use but be careful because it comes out rather quickly since it is super watery. It absorbs really well and smells really good. I have a faint like skin care kind of smell to it rather than any sort of fruit or any sort of any other irritating smell.

This balance essense I received is a great addition to my skincare routine. It comes in a beautiful glass jar, that has tons of product in it. It sinks into the skin almost immediately, and doesn't leave any sort of residue. It's very hydrating to the skin, which was a nice surprise. Most toners I have tried are very drying. It works great under makeup as well. The ingriedients are very minimal which is a huge bonus for me. My skin looks more balanced, toned, and glowy after several weeks of use with this product. I highly reccomend this product to all!

very easy to use! a but tingling when it went on but I enjoyed the activation confirmation. it worked well under my eyes and on my checks. didn't notice a difference on chin or forehead.

I bought this VELY VELY ARTEMISIA BALANCE ESSENCE Toner and have to day I am impressed! it wasn't at all what I expected. This is very different from the cheap Walmart/ drug store toners I've been buying my whole life and I can surely tell the difference! VEly vely to er wasn't harsh or strong at all. I can recall other toners feeling like they're almost burning my face. But this toner does nothing like that yet gets the job done even better! I'm never going back to the cheap stuff! :) I'm late in all this skincare stuff I know but better late than never! HIGHLY recommend this. I really am in love with this VELY VELY ARTEMISIA BALANCE ESSENCE toner. It's so moist and so capable in relieving the skin!!! If you use this with the calming ampoule, it's great for sensitive skin types and this has gotten rid of my inner skin dryness too. I recieved this product for my honest opinion. I had to look up what artemisia was because i had never heard of this ingredient before. Thats when i learned its a species of mugwort. Which ive never tried before. Artemisisa helps calms, smooths, has anti-inflammatory properties, also helps dry, irritated skin effectively and helps acne prone skin. So i was excited to use it. Heres my thoughts so far. This product has a thin watery texture. It has a lightest scent. You almost miss it. Its a very natural scent. Which i love. It absorbs so nicely in to the skin. Doesnt leave any stickiness behind. Its insantly made my skin feel soft and plump. So far i havent had any reactions or breakouts since ive been using it for the past week. Im excited to see what extended us does. This product is also super affordable. I would recommend.

The Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence is absolutely amazing. After cleansing I used this product and it cleaned out my pores, clarified my face and left a refreshing feeling. There was no scent that I could detect but it did its job brilliantly. It smooths out my pores exceptionally well and provides a soothing effect to my skin. I use makeup daily so this product is excellent in making sure that my pores do not get clogged plus it is hypoallergenic. I highly recommend this product.

I've never used any essences before and now I'm trying to figure out why haha. I have very dry skin, that gets flaky super easily, so I'm constantly on the lookout for something that can help me keep all the dryness at bay. VELY VELY Artemisia Balance Essence adds an extra layer of hydration to my everyday routine and makes my skin feel really nourished and plumped. I also noticed that with time the appearance of my fine lines is reduced and the overall texture of the skin is more refined and it definitely looks more radiant. It's definitely an A+ essence and I highly recommend checking it out.

I have their Artemisia Ampoule and Cream, and this Essence didn’t disappoint! It was soothing, calming, and even hydrating for my skin! I even noticed that my overall complexion definitely got brighter as well. I love the fresh and light scent of the mugwort/artemisia and how refreshing this feels on my skin every time I use it!

I have been using Vely Vely Artemisia Balance Essence for 3 weeks now and haven't noticed any major changes besides after using my skin is hydrated but did not soothe redness or give my skin any healing properties or soothe redness. I have combination skin that is dry and oily so I will continue using this essence to see if any changes happen. I did enjoy the natural scent but this product was not for me.

This is the second product of the same brand Vely Vely that I have tested and has mugworth ingredient. This Artemisia Balance Essence effectively targets dry and irritated skin, thanks to its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. I was also a bit scared to use it because I felt like my skin wasn’t ready yet after breakouts that just happened to my skin. I have used this Vely Vely Artemisia balance essence as a starting treatment for my damaged skin barrier and hopefully can help to revitalize my skin. Beside from being lightweight and soothing, it is safe for dry skin, organic with mild herbal smell. It also provides slight hydration and does not irritate the skin. It effectively evens skin tone, moisturizes, strengthens, minimizes pores and brightens complexion. Really versatile to the point that it also balances our skin's pH and quickly absorbs ingredients so that it can start working with our skin immediately. Non sticky and tacky, dries faster instantly. This VELY VELY Artemisia Balance Essence from @velyvely_global contains 87% Artemisia extract which helps to strengthen the skin barrier and improve the elasticity and brightness of the skin. It is super lightweight and has a very thin watery consistency (swipe to see video), which literally absorbed into my skin in seconds. It has a faint herbal scent. Feels more like a toner to me than an essence though. I pour a small amount into my hands and tap my face and kinda hold my hands on my face and neck. This leaves my skin feeling so moisturized it's unreal. I love that it is fragrance free. After I apply this to my face in the pm and am. I really, really love this toner and will definitely buy this when I run out. » I’ve been noticing a lot of Korean products have had Mugwort also known as Artemisia in it’s skincare products and I was interested in trying a product with it. Artemisia has antibacterial, anti fungal and antioxidant properties that help calm and soothe redness while being able to heal and treat acne and breakouts. This essence is lightweight yet provides great hydration to the skin that almost reminds me of a toner. It has a very earthy tea scent and it’s very mild and fades away quickly. It comes out as a light brown color and it reminds me of tea. I really enjoy this and have had no problems with it on my skin and I’m looking forward to keeping breakouts at a minimum.
