Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) said to help improve pigmentation, is anti-bacterial. Great for acne prone skin. 🙏🏻 Also, containing beta-glucan to moisturize and reduce redness. As well as panthenol, centella asiatica, sodium hyaluronate. . . I’ve enjoyed every bit of this formula. Gentle application with no stinging like some other acids. No irritation and fit right into my routine no problem. Thin formula that absorbs quickly with no residue or scent (to my nose). My apologies for lack of photos while using it. I thought I had some, but I can’t find them.

Pros!! it helps to make the skin look brighter and above all it is easily absorbed. Cons!! I have to say that the only annoying thing was that it dries my skin a bit, but nevertheless I need more time to see results.

I have always loved and purchased my korean beauty products from Wishtrend so I knew that a product from them would be a great skincare product. The Skin Prep water is a exfoliant that will help improve your skin tone, texture, and hydrate your skin. The Mandelic acid is a low irritation exfoliant that can be used daily and doesn't peel the skin. Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and is more gentle than other AHAs. I have used the product for more than two weeks and I love it. It is very comparable to the Pixi Glow. The exfoliant has been great in helping reduce my acne breakout. I have only used it at night but I heard that it is gentle enough to use also during the day. I am totally in love with this product.

Mandelic acid water by wishtrend This is such a cult fav I was so excited to try it! It has gorgeous glass packaging and nice twist off white plastic lid. It's got a little plastic stopper with a hole so the product comes out nicely. I used this with a cotton pad and wiped around my face after cleansing. Ouch! This stuff stings! I left a mild stinging feeling on my skin after each use. It made me want to use it less although the sting didn't linger I still didn't enjoy it.. I used it once a day for a few weeks and saw some minimal smoothing of the skin. More consistent usage would probably yield pretty good results but unfortunately I'm not into skincare that hurts 😅 I'm a baby so this was a miss for me! Loving this acid toner by @bywishtrend ! I tend to go for stronger acids like Glycolic & Lactic, and while there is irritation from them, they deliver big results. This acid is advertised as being gentle and hydrating, while exfoliating the skin. Within three days of use, 2x's a day, my acne scars have lightened, my skin appears less textured, and the best part - no irritation! Sencond best part - no overpowering smell! This toner worked great for me, and I would highly recommend it to those who are new to acid toning, or just have very sensitive skin. Bonus for this toner containing Centella! Everyone needs a little Centella in their life! . I didn't necessarly notice any additional hydration benefits, but I'm no scientist, so what do I know? 🤷🏻‍♀️. Bottom line; this is a must have for me, and I will continue to use it in my skincare regime!

I can truly say by using this product that I have noticed a significant difference in my skin. It has become more hydrated and my foundation goes on really easily and it made a whole difference in my application.I would totally recommend.

I've used it today again. It left a film on my skin and made it a bit tacky. I also feel a bit itchy from it, but that is normal for me. I will get itchy to any chemical exfoliate, it usually depends on how long I can leave it on my face. So far the mandelic acid isn't bothering me to the point of needing to wash off. [REVIEW] First of all, the box is everything😍 the box has good weight and the bottle is sturdy. The product comes out quick (no need to shake too hard). Tingles a bit when first applied because the pH is 3.5 and facial skin has a pH of about 5.5- 6. Absorbs ridiculously quick. Dries very tacky if you pat it in instead of swiping it across your face using a cotton pad. However, if you're layering products on top the tackiness goes away. Overall 4.8/5 I just wish it wasn't as tacky but I would use again.

The most game changer thing about skincare that I didn’t do prior is exfoliation. I love feeling glowy after a few applications of AHA’s - and I’ve soon become addicted. I think it’s the ease of an extra layer of skincare instead of having to pull out my physical spin brush. • @wishtrend #mandelicacidwater is meant to be a #dailymildexfoliator - but I had to use it once every few days when I first started. I used this step fresh after a cleanse. Mainly in the PM, and I wait about 5 mins for the ingredients to do its thing before I apply the rest of my skincare. • The texture is watery and clear; you can apply this directly with your finger tips. I also used cotton rounds when I wanted to test how clean I washed my face, and to give it a harder swipe. • It’s known properties are meant to help fade scars faster from the #mandelicacid. While using this product I have noticed scars fading, but I’m also using this on top of my spot treatment product. Planning to test this on my big scar test - will report back. • 🗿

I’ve been using this product for about 2 weeks now, twice a week. This is an acid exfoliating treatment by Wishtrend. The results from this product so far are slow, I’m slowly seeing results but that’s ok I’m going to start using this 3 times a week because my skin can handle. My skin feels very plump in the morning and hydrated and I haven’t been experiencing any bad results of this product. This is used before any other treatment but after you cleanse. It’s a gentle form of AHA. Good for hyper-pigmentation. PH of 4 to 5. It doesn’t really have a strong scent. I purchased this from 0.8l liter for a small trial fee in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed in your life until you use it! What a great little product this is, first off it helps with pigmentation, which is a must for me in my summer skin care routine. Also it helps with acne prone skin, and helps other products absorb into your skin more effectively! E en though this is a mild exfoliator it's not harsh and can be used by any skin type! There are many great ingredients in this product, of which I will include a list and their properties in my photos. I have been using this every night for about a month and I can say it is doing well. My normal sun pigmentation is still there, but no where near as bad as past summers. The little acne I get from time to time goes away virtually over night. My skin is bright and not over dried! Try this if you get a chance! I have received a Mandelic Water By Wishtrend and has been using it diligently about 3 weeks. I wanted to try it a long time ago when I was obsessed with exfoliation, BHA, and AHA, and even PHA. But over time, for some reason, my skin's has improved a little bit (no giant red pimples all the time or acne scars 24/7). So the only desire left is to maintain the skin healthy, glowy and clear. Mandelic Water is the perfect skincare product for these means. It's a transparent liquid with no scent. First, it is Alcohol-free. Secondly, it maintains low pH, which is essential for an oily/ combination acne-prone skin type. And lastly, exfoliates dead cells and lightens acne scars, making the skin very soft and smooth. I am glad that I have the opportunity to use Mandelic Acid Water, but those who have a sensitive skin type be careful because it could be a little irritating in the beginning. Overall my impressions are very positive, however, it is not a hydrating or moisturizing toner, so either mix it with a moisturizing toner, or use additional moisturizing products in the routine. I like 7 Skin Method for Toner multi-layering and use Mandelic Acid Toner with Klairs or Vita B5 Toner. For those who are new to exfoliation: incorporate carefully 1-2 times a week, make a patch test first. For experienced users: 3-7 times a week for a healthy glowy skin. And of course, avoid eye/lip areas. Would definitely recommend to try and to use. Alternative product: COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad.

I've read about different chemical exfoliants for a long time but I have always been too chicken to try them. I decided to go for it when I saw that Wishtrend had a campaign for their Mandelic Acid Prep Water on 08liter. I figured that at just $3.99 it couldn't hurt to try it. I'm not comfortable endorsing it for sensitive skin because I did have some slight tingling a few times. It didn't bug me but I can't promise it won't irritate your skin if it's delicate. Since this was my first at-home chemical exfoliant I don't have much to compare it with. I do agree that it removes gunk and smoothes out dull skin. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that is derived from almonds. Because it has larger molecules than most AHAs it is a good beginner acid, as larger molecules are more gentle. The packaging instructed me to use it 2-3 times a week but I cut down to 1-2 because I had some very mild redness and irritation. It's been smooth sailing since. Wishtrend has been on my radar for a while. I can see why people trust them now. This stuff is great because it's affordable, effective, and will last a long time. I received mine for a trial via the Try Now program on 0.8Liter. Improvement: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 -I can feel an improvement more than I can see it. Hypoallergenic: 🌟🌟🌟 -Claims to be okay for sensitive skin but I still had irritation. Almond probably isn't safe for some allergies. Hydration: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 -I expected this to be drying but it isn't!

Mandelic acid is an Alpha-hydroxy acid, with a larger molecule size than typical AHA. This means that it penetrates the skin less deeply than glycolic acud, lactic acid and other AHA products. The action is more on the surface layers of the skin, meaning it can still slough off dead skin cells and leave a smoother brighter complexion while being less sensitizing. Acids are a double edged sword for me. I have dry skin. that means I really need exfoliation, however because dry skin can be easily sensitized, acid products can leave me looking like a ripe tomato. very smooth... and very red. While I do experience slight irritation with this product, it is short lived and always gone by morning. This is still an evening only product for me, but I was not expecting to use this watery toning product in my day time routine. It layers well with my night time routine and I do feel my skin feels smoother and is absorbing products more readily. I've really enjoyed getting to try this and really for being gentle enough that I can use it, and still remain effective as an AHA, I like this one a lot.

This was the first time I ever heard of mandelic acid, a popular alpha hydroxy acid derived from the extract of bitter almonds. Which is why you smell that sour smell when you open the bottle. But don't worry it goes away quickly. Mandelic acid is a great way to exfoliate your skin since it's a more gentle acid than others. It's known for treating common skin problems such as acne, irregular pigmentation, and photo-ageing. Mandelic acid has also been shown to reduce melasma up to 50%. The first time I used this acid on my face, it stung. I'm not sure if it was because I had just did a fruit peel scrub the night before. And my skin was just a little extra sensitive. But the next time I tried using it, it wasn't irritating at all. Happy I was able to use it, because it works so well on my skin. I love how my skin is so bright and clear. I think I'm just going to stick to this when exfoliating instead of using face scrub, since it's extremely more gentle.
