The Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water is a great product for gently exfoliating the skin. It is gentle enough to use a few times a week and won’t irritate my skin. I noticed my skin became smoother after using this product.

Claims: A daily mild exfoliating toner to prep your skin every day. Paraben, silicone, and alcohol free. pH 4.5 +/- 1. Acts as an exfoliating treatment that improves skin texture and tone while boosting the effectiveness of other products. The inlcusion of mandelic acid helps to improve pigmentation & aged skin while its antibacterial properties are helpful for inflammatory acne. Wishtrend recommends its use for those with acne, dry skin, or sensitive skin as the large molecular size of the mandelic acid prevents harsh exfoliation seen with other AHAs. . . . Impression: Well let me be honest and say this is another 0.8L product that I got during the try which I already purchased before & loved. This is a fantastic toner! Its non-irritating & helps to set the pH of your skin to roughly 5.5 before adding any further products. Because of the inclusion of beta-glucan and panthenol you also get a nice hydrating plumping action with this one. More to the point over time & with continued use I have seen my hyperpigmentation improve when using this. I blame the mandelic acid and licorice root extract. In any case this ones a winner so when I saw it as a try I purchased it immediately. This is a fantastic investment if you are suffering from hyperpigmentation & acne & I can't recommend it enough! Often you will see it come on sale on wishtrend. . . . Repurchase: Darling you clearly have not been reading a word I wrote. Hell freaking yeah - this is a repurchase review! . . . I don't even know where to start. Lets just say this is a miracle skin care product!! Funny, because I was very hesitant to get this prepping water due to the fact it had the word 'Acid' in the title and it claims to be an exfoliant and remove dead skin cells. Fragrance or no fragrance, when something is too harsh on my skin, it turns red until it slowly cools down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yet something told me to give it a shot and I can't be more satisfied! I can not imagine going back to my old skin care routine. This may be a bit odd, but the way I use this product works fabulous for me. After cleansing, I use toner to remove any excess residue and then I apply the Mandelic Acid Skin Prep Water with a cotton pad to remove anything left after the previous steps. Due to the fact this product gently exfoliates the skin... I am in shock that even after double cleansing, a little residue is still picked up here and there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My oh my, does my skin become glowy after application! This prepping water is beyond hydrating. So hydrating I can go 20+ minutes before my skin calls for more moisture. It does say you should apply it 2-3x a week, but I use it every single day both morning and night. This prepping water has transformed my skin in ways I was not expecting!! My face has never felt so clean, hydrated, and bouncy. In case you're curious the acid comes from almond extract. Other ingredients included are Vitamin B5 and our favorite ~Centella Asiatica. ♡♡ If you have sensitive, acne prone, dull or any other skin type do not hesitate to pick this product up. Trust me you won't be able to live without it after ;)

💐First impression: A sleek and minimalistic packaging, directions were clear and ingredients were properly stated. The first time i tried, I followed a wishtrend youtube video on how to use this product based on your skin combination. Mine was combination skin type and I could basically use this every 3-5 times for a gentle exfoliation. Moreover this product is suitable for sensitive skin type which gives me absolute reassurance that this product would not be too harsh on my skin. I used it roughly a week and I used it on the week that my skin was going through quite a bad phase. I had bumps around my nose area and I felt like a breakout was going to happen. My skin was also dry and its texture was a little off, making makeup application harder. By using this product I could feel my skin’s texture improved with lesser white heads. Although not a glaring difference, i gradually felt less bumps on my face. The only thing that I did not like about this prooduct is the smell. It is extremely pungent and smelled like chemicals. Other than that it was alright and my skin had no allergic reactions or whatsoever. 🍃This product is great for people who wants to start chemical exfoliation but is not sure of what kind of product to use. I would say this is a great product for starters to see how your skin will react to chemical exfoliators. Furthermore it is suitable for all skin types which makes it a plus point! P.S I tried this product for only a week, more testing is needed. If allowed I would write a more in depth review!!

I’m hoping that I will be able to use different chemical exfoliants in the future but for right now this works well for me. Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water: Mandelic acid is known for the ability to heal blemishes and help improve pigmentation. Though I feel it is too early to comment on pigmentation, my blemish on the other hand have gone down in size and quantity! That alone makes me absolutely recommend this toner for anyone with acne prone skin. The toner is gentle enough for any skin type including sensitive but it also gives you a slight exfoliating effect. I use toner every single day, day and night and this is the only toner I would say I can see the extra dirt being lifted off. I can guarantee to see leftover makeup being lifted off with any toner but the fact that I could actually see a grey blackish tint after toning with this product is so satisfying. Toner is dispensed by shaking through a small hole in top of bottle. ✒️ Experience: Toner is clear and watery. Has a mild clean scent that's not overpowering nor does it linger. As my skin is sensitive to frequent acid use, I only used this twice a week after cleansing. Occasionally it would tingle on application but it was tolerable and didn't last long. Immediate results was softer skin. Mandelic acid usually takes a little longer to provide results so I'm excited to see how my skin progresses over the next few weeks. ✒️ Final Thoughts: Yes, recommend! Today Im reviewing By wishtrend Mandelic acid 5% skin prep water/toner . It clains to clarify skin and balance the skin Lets get to the quick review 🔸️ Herbal ginseng like scent 🔸️ Bottle packaging 🔸️Contains 5% Mandelic acid, licorice root extract, centella , almond extract This toner is a mild chemical exfoliant and maintains balance of the skin. It is not drying at all and absorbs quickly. It does not have a viscous consistency like the Klairs supple preparation toner. I did feel slight tingling sensation on application but it it did not irritate my skin.

My husband has dry skin with small black head build up only on his nose. Since he's started using it he's noticed the black heads have reduced and his skin is softer and brighter. He's told me how it absorbs quickly, non-irritating and non-sticky. It's his first time trying an AHA and its become his new favorite toner.

I've heard a lot of buzz about mandelic acid and it's treatment uses, mostly for darker skinned people. I was really excited to try it out and it was almost miraculous that 0.8L had a Try Buy offer available at the time. I knew I wanted to start off with a low/mild percentage in case my skin rejected the acid. I'm pleased to say SO FAR, SO GOOD. Because the acidity is so low, changes in dark spots and hyperpigmentation aren't going to happen overnight but I've seen a pleasant change in the texture of my skin (softer and smoother) and the slightest brightness to my complexion (not bleaching, skin is more even-toned). The consistency of the product is watery. Looks and feels just like water. I apply onto a cotton square and wipe across my face, or pour a little into my palms and then press the liquid into my skin. I'd recommend this product to anyone wanting to try acids to target texture and dark spots. I really enjoy this product, will most likely repurchase.

I received this Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water from @wishtrend and @0.8l_usa at a discounted price to try and review. I’ve used it twice a day, most days, for the last 2.5 weeks and I have been enjoying it. It’s the consistency of water and it says you can use bare hands or cotton to apply. I’ve opted for cotton since it’s an acid. It’s completely colorless and you can see on the cotton in the third photo. It has a slightly sweet scent but I don’t believe it’s added, I think that’s just the ingredients. When I was initially using this, it really went on like water and I wasn’t sure it was doing anything. Then, I used it one day shortly after getting my eyebrows waxed 😱 there was definitely a burn! Overall I feel like this would be a great acid for anyone. It’s not going to be an immediate wow overnight like with strong acids, but I feel like for my skin is helped with upkeep by gently exfoliating. I’ve been enjoying it more than I enjoyed The Ordinary Gylcolic toner which is harsher in my opinion.

I have been using exfoliating acids for about a year. I found that my skin was way too sensitive to use physical exfoliators and was very happy to learn about chemical exfoliators as a gentler alternative. For the most part I have been using Aha and BHA or Alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid exfoliator s. So when I saw this one I really wanted to try it as I saw that it was a little bit stronger of an acid. I'm so glad I got to try it and I can definitely see why it got so many good reviews. it's in an exfoliating water formulated with 5% mandelic acid. It's supposed to work for all skin types including sensitive skin to remove dead skin cells and smooth rough and dull skin. in the try Now instructions they recommended using this only twice a week and I can definitely see why. The instant I put this on a cotton pad and begin wiping my face there was definitely a burn to it. not an uncomfortable horrible burn but a definite burn so I can tell it was quite a bit stronger than the acids I have used previously. it's also not quite as hydrating as some of the other acids I've used. I also had tried using it every other day and it was just too strong for my skin and almost left me looking like I had a sunburn? So I can definitely see why they recommend using only twice a week. Personally I've gone down to using it maybe once a week. Although it is stronger I definitely noticed it's a great exfoliator and it really helped to diminish my blackheads which I was really shocked about. I've been trying to get rid of these stubborn blackheads on my nose for over a decade. Using the AHA and BHA acids has helped but I noticed a real difference after using the mandelic acid. If you have never used acids before I would definitely not recommend this one as your first time acid use because it's very strong. With acids you want to try a lower dose to get your skin used to using an acid before you go up to an acid like this one. Other than that highly recommend! And I will definitely continue to use this and love it!

💦Daily Acids💦 I’ve been looking for a good product to help smooth out my skin and clear away dead skin cells that may linger. I came across this Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water on @0.8l_usa (I paid $3.99 to try it, and write an honest review). I had been using The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid toner, but it was so harsh I didn’t love it. This, on the other hand, is becoming one of my staples! It’s gentle enough for morning AND evening use, and it has been smoothing out my skin. While I haven’t seen any effect on my acne or blemishes, it’s still having a noticeable effect on my scarring. Can’t wait to see more results!

I have been using Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water toner for almost a month now. It is a thin watery toner. It has a very faint scent that is medicinal smelling. It is not unpleasant. The toner stings slightly on application. I'm using it at night and apply with a cotton ball. I apply after cleansing and wait 30 minutes before applying tretinoin. I was afraid that it would be too much with the tretinoin but it has worked well. It's tacky for a minute after application but then it absorbs and it's fine. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. I like this toner and would consider repurchasing for the right price. This product from @wishtrend is a Mandelic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that has been derived from bitter almonds. It is supposed to be effective for acne due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It will also help with hyperpigmentation and cell turnover which is beneficial for anti-aging. This product also contained Panthenol, which is a humectant and moisturizer, designed to maintain hydration in the skin. Finally, it contains Sodium Hyaluronate, a natural moisturizer, which not only attracts moisture and helps retain moisture, preventing dryness. Mandelic acid is said to be more gentle than other AHA’s, and I think this product might have been too gentle on my skin. In the last few months, I have been dealing with a number of clogged pores – I am able to feel them when I oil cleanse, and I was really hoping that this product would clear up that problem. I followed the recommended instructions of use, which was to use every 2nd or 3rd day. I experienced no over-exfoliation which is good, however, from this point on I will move to using it more often to see if I can have better results. I still have acne and clogged pores, but in terms of how the rest of my skin is going, I think that this product does have an effect. I have seen an increase in my cell turnover (based on how quickly acne heals) and my skin feels plump and healthy. I think that the plumpness comes from the fact that AHA’s also strengthen collagen, which is a building block in the support network of the skin. Because of this, I will continue to use it, and bump up my use to once a day to see results. I am really hopeful for this product in the long term and I am thankful that 0.8L and Wishtrend let me try it out for a trial fee.
